I joined 24.1.2022 and ive taken  1 LOA that lasted 1,5 weeks.

I use teamspeak and discord everyday and most days i also check the forums.

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

 

1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones:

I would ask the player who told me about the rdming that who is doing it. Then i would TP to the accused cloacked and would watch if he is still doing it If hes not i would check logs to check if he was actually shooting clones. Then i would take him to a sit and let him explain hes side. If he doesnt have a valid reasoning (Like them being scavs that engaged on him that the accuser might have missed) i would give him the appropriate warn for the situation or a ban depending on the severity of the situation.
 

2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function:

I would tell a batt to send a NCO to the cadet area if no one responds, I would find a NCO/ lowest online and TP them to the cadet area.
 

3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon:

I would not intervene because this is something for CG to deal with and it was just an accident that can happen to anyone.
 

4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT:

I wouldnt do anything because this is a in character matter and isnt a big deal anyways even IC.
 

5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules:

I would take him to a sit to learn what happened and tell him that even tough it isnt stated in the rules it is still Fail RP and i would tell him to use commonsense because every single thing cant be stated in the rules and depending on the severity i would just give him a verbal warning to not do it again or a actual warn.
 

6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing:

Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words):

The reason i deserve staff is because i am very active. I have been playing this server for over 6 months now with only a 1 and a half week brake. Ive been playing every single day for multiple hours and i am planning on continuing with this level of activity for a long time. I also think i would be good for the team because im on a different time zone to the UK so when i come home from work at 2 PM UK time everyday on weekdays there has been many instances of no staff being on at the time and i would be a good fill for this spot.

I would also say i am trusted on the server reaching high clone rank like ARC and High jedi rank like Shadow. Ive been also sent multiple times to help other regiments as a temp.
I would also be a good fit because i am a very dedicated person as i have been in GM for the whole time ive been in this server. I would also be very dedicated in staff and would stick a round for a long time.

I feel i would also be a very fair staff who would always listen to all sides of the story before making a big decision. I can be serious or laid back depending on the situation but i assure you i will take the staff role very seriously if i get picked. I dont have any previous experience as staff in Garrys mod but i am a very quick and eager learner.

Disclaimer: Since there are extremely limited spots in staff with many many people applying I will be completely honest and judging/responding not only based off if I believe you will be a capable staff member but are you better suited to be a staff member compared to the other 40 people that applied, so don't take any of this to heart. You are an overall calm guy who I feel could be really level-headed in serious staff situations

If I had to guess you probably won't get accepted just the way it looks because of how competitive it is and other people either showed more resounding qualities or have had better apps. I feel bad if you don't get accepted as your application was decent and with your whole resume on the server you probably would have gotten accepted any other time so I urge you to apply a gain in the future if you don't get it. I would suggest spending decent amount of time pre-writing an application for future app openings because if you spent a little more time on your app this time I think you would have had a really high chance of getting in.
