March 2022, took a break from clone for a few months but was still active on my Jedi role.

I use teamspeak whenever i am playing on the server (which is most days), i enagage within discord everyday and forums I check from time to time whenever needed.

State the role of staff on the server:

The role of staff on the server is to ensure that the playerbase is experiencing the best possible time they have whilst roleplaying. So this means that staff have the responsibility to assist those in need help and struggling. Staff has have the extremely important role or dealing with disputes and deal switfly with those breaking rules and providing swift punishments. They also have a responsibility to keep the inner workings of the server working without a hitch. Wether that is proving people with equipment or helping people that are stuck it is vital this is done and done to an incredibly high standard.

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

 

1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones:

 Go to the accused player in vanish and was closely if the behaviour continues quickly take them out of the equation so that the RDM stops. If they don't continue ask the accuser for proof and/or check logs to check to see where/who started damaging who to get to the bottom of the story.

2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function:

 Inform them that the correct way to request a trainer is to use the /advert command and also inform battalion that a trainer is needed so that they can inform the clones and send someone over in character.

3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon:

 If it is a one time occurence and clearly not deliberate pull them aside and show them how to safety their weapon without shooting.

4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT:

 Remind them of  the rules and quickly check if the quality of the cadet training was appropriate.

5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules:

Explain to them calmly their actions and how it could be construed as FailRP then inform that it wouldnt be possible to have every occurence of FailRP listed. Then if it is a first time offence warn them not to do it again. However, if it is a repeat offender warn them permanently.

6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing:

Explain to them calmly of your actions, and inform them that the decision that has been made is not reversible, inform them also that they can appeal any warnings on the forums or to a superior staff.

Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words):

As Battalion and a long-time player on the server, I completely understand the importance of the staff role and the vital tasks they perform to keep the player base happy and the server running like a well-oiled machine. I have excellent people skills and can hold a conversation with anyone holding strong and healthy relationships with a big proportion of the player base. I enjoy helping people and I am satisfied once everyone is happy and content. I feel very strongly that everyone gets along so any confrontations or reports of rule breaking will be dealt quickly and with precision and I will not rest until all parties are happy and content with their experience. I also do not have a tolerance for those that break the rules regardless of position or status, meaning that I will respond quickly and efficiently to claims of such actions and will not let consistent bad behaviour go unpunished. I also feel like I deserve this post over other applicants as I simply wish to do more for the server and give back to the community the same way that said community gave to me when I joined and have been experiencing since back in March. I also have incredible activity when on Jedi or Battalion being on most days for a large proportion of the day. I cannot stress enough how important the job of staff is for the server and they sometimes go without praise for events they put up with and the number of situations where they help individuals. My intention to apply is not have some rank above other people. The reason I applied is so that I can be of service to the community and help with the vast number of claims that the staff must deal with day in and day out to ensure that everyone on the server is having the very best experience they can to promote a healthy and active server population. I fully understand that whoever is reading this has a dozen other applications to read so I would like to thank you for your time and hope I am considered for this position. Thank you.

my experience with jakk has been on the positive side but I don't know how good he would be with minging. However he was a head admin which I don't think you just get gifted which hints that jakk could be a good addition to the staff team
