104th Trooper Lancer 0 Share Posted March 17 (edited) 104th Trooper Lancer SteamID64 is 76561199152915771 ItsTahmid Banned for: leaving while AOS, 3 day ban was banned even though I was un' AOSed, have been in conversations with admin known as Lauritzen#5611 on discord to whom I explained everything in detail, he understood my issue clearly and even said that there was messsages that appeared on my screen saying I was no longer AOS. This is the issue I was having as a message on my screen clearly stated I was no longer AOS, however upon logging on to the server it said I was banned for 3 days. Banned by: Stack Witness: Lauritzen#5611, very helpful admin who helped me with the issue and explained to me that there was a message that said I was no longer AOS Edited March 17 by 104th Trooper Lancer the reason for edit was because I had the steam url profile not the ID Link to comment
Panzer - Dājirin 13 Share Posted March 17 Did someone say you were no longer AOS in chat, or did it say in the center of your screen "104th Trooper Lancer is no longer wanted by Police"? When people do the /wanted command or whatever it is, it tells everyone you're wanted, but then that does expire after time, and does then say that they're wanted by the police. Lauritzen 4 Share Posted March 17 (edited) Let me share my opinion. Lancer was marked "AOS" on screens for a valid reason, and leaving in that situation could lead to a ban. However, a later message stating that Lancer was no longer marked "AOS" complicated the situation. If Lancer left after seeing this message, it's reasonable to assume that he thought he wasn't marked anymore. While Lancer's actions did violate the rules initially, it wouldn't make sense to cancel the "AOS" later if it was legitimately given. Nevertheless, confusion could arise from the subsequent message. Therefore, I believe it would be unjust to impose a ban in this case, even if Lancer wasn't entirely faultless. 104th Trooper Lancer 0 Author Share Posted March 17 I think this game mechanic should be changed it is extremely misleading, why would i question logging off the server after the game tells me i am no longer AOS'ed. I asked the admin that banned me about this and he said that " is a automated thing after a certain time that nobody can control but is ignored" How would any new player automatically assume this????
