Core 0 Share Posted September 21 In-game name(s): 104th ADV MEDIC MJR Core Steam Name: Core Steam ID : STEAM_0:0:631842954 Age when applying: 20 What country do you currently reside in? What is your time-zone: United Kingdom (GMT+1) Can you speak and type English fluently: Yes Current total game-time on the server (type !time): 1 Week 1 Day 16 Hours 17 Mins IC Rank(s) and OOC Donation Rank(s) on CWRP: 104th ADV MEDIC MJR, Platinum VIP Do you own a working microphone? When you communicate do you type or speak: I have a working mic. When did you join the server? Have you taken any breaks since: 13/07/24 and Yes How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, CWRP Discord and our forums: Everyday from the start of logging on the getting off. State all your previous OOC punishments (bans, kicks etc.) and a screenshot of your list of warns. (Go in game and type !warns.) Upload it to http://imgur.com/ or as a steam community screenshot and include the link). I have no bans or kicks or anything related to this. State the role of staff on the server: As a Staff Member, your primary responsibilities include assisting players, enforcing server rules, and ensuring a positive experience for everyone. Strive to strike a balance between maintaining order and fostering a welcoming environment Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? Yes and yes List of all previous server staff experience: None, making this an fun and exciting learning experience. Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: Yes Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: First, observe the reported player to gather context. Then, review the logs for any outgoing damage to verify the incident. Assess the severity of the potential offense (whether it's RDM, ARDM, or MRDM), and once confirmed, bring the player into a sit to discuss the situation. After hearing their side, apply the appropriate punishment based on the severity of the violation. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: First, check if the cadet has advertised that they need a trainer. If they have, I would ask in OOC if anyone is available to train the cadet. I would then inform the cadet to wait about 5 minutes, and if no one arrives by then, they should submit another request using "@ Need a Trainer." If no one responds, I would teleport the lowest-ranking NCO to the cadet and ask if they can conduct the training. If the NCO is unavailable or AFK, we would continue this process until the cadet is successfully trained. 3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: I would allow the situation to follow the standard RP procedures and let CG, Rancor, or Battalion handle it accordingly. 4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: I don’t personally mind if someone doesn’t salute me, as not everyone prefers to. However, if it's during one of my regimental trainings or Mando sessions, I would simply remind them of the concept of saluting, and leave it at that. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: I would remind them that there's a rule stating not all actions can be explicitly listed under the FailRP section, and that it's important to use common sense. I would then clear up the situation, ensuring they understand what they did wrong. After that, I would give them a verbal warning and return to my regular duties. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I wouldn’t mind, as there’s no reason to argue. I would simply follow the server rules and punishment guidelines when taking action or issuing a punishment. Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. truji 2 Share Posted September 22 -1 The playtime is insufficient both cause of the requirement of at least 2 weeks and also for the fact that with that ammount of playtime you are not able to comprehend how the server really works. Link to comment
RobLC 4 Share Posted September 22 -1 - Last question reeks of AI - Does not meet playtime requirements I respect the ambition to apply for staff so early on but realistically it is too soon for you to join the staff team especially as you have no prior experience as staff, the restrictions on playtime before applying exist for a reason. I recommend you try again in the future and ensure that the application is written in your own words, you will find if you spend more time on the server that answering the long form question at the end becomes easier the more you have experienced Link to comment
