Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

 

1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: I would ask who the clone is, then I would go over to the clone to see if he is killing others. alternatively, if he is seen doing nothing, I will check the logs to see if he did anything of the sort. then I will punish accordingly 

 

2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: I remind them that staff isn't here to train and to please use the /advert function to get a trainer to come train them

 

3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: I will allow the CG to punish the CT and will intervene if the CT gets too out of control  

 

4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT:  I will remind them that CTs of his rank are meant to salute a man of my rank and leave it at that

 

5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not clearly stated within the server rules: I will remind them that in the rules that FailRP rules may not be as descriptive and its up to the staff what is FailRP or not. it's all common sense.

 

6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I will try to convey to why I'm punishing him and will avoid to go back and forth and will carryout the punishment accordingly

Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I for one notice a influx of toxicity within the server, and I for one will take a stand and will make sure to lower the growing number. I will make the players experience on the server my number 1 priority and will punish and help whenever there is the need, I feel like I got the passion for this role and will be motivated to help in anyway I can, this is my first ever staff position I applied for, so I can understand I'm not desirable with no experience, but everyone needs to start somewhere and I think I deserve a shot to learn. I believe that with me on board, the staff will feel like they can count on me and that I have confidence in staffing. I will also have more of a reason to play and will grow a stronger connection to the staff team on the server.

This is a pretty bad app.

It's clear you didn't read some of the questions properly.

Some of your answers to staff scenarios aren't great.

- Application is poor, it reads as if done in a hurry with little attention paid to the questions. The answer to the final question does not even meet the word limit
- IC I have witnessed that your judgement in certain situations is poor and you don't always conduct yourself appropriately for the rank you hold
- As a staff member I have recently had to deal with a case about a fairly sensitive issue that arose due to you jumping to conclusions and acting emotionally so I would not trust you to handle situations on the server without bias. I'm sure you remember this and will not go into any further details.

In my opinion, the decision to create a staff application atm shows no acknowledgement of your past mistakes on the server. I would consider taking more action to build a better reputation of yourself and not expect any further power or trust to be given to you until you have made enough of an effort to improve how you conduct yourself.
