joined in 2020 but was only there a week or less then came back 04/01/2024 and have taken 1 ROA and 1 LOA in that time.

I use both the TeamSpeak and discord daily but only go on the forums every now and then.

State the role of staff on the server:

When you are apart of the staff team you are expected to assist other people on the server to ensure they have an enjoyable time as well as assist in any out-of-character situations but not in-character issues as they are meant to be dealt with in an in-character way not by staff and when dealing with situations it is a must that you deal with them with no bias at all and you must give not alter your decisions on lets say a punishment because you know the person and are friends with them as that unfair towards others. When being a staff member the type of situations you will be expected to deal with could be helping others who have gotten stuck somewhere to get them out, spawning in vehicles/ weapons for people in situations such as a SIM or during a training and in the case where someone is breaking server rules then you need to intervene and deal with them.

Yes I know the rules quite well and have a good memory on what they are.

Had very little experience 4 years ago.

 

Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?:

Yes I understand.

 

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

 

1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones:

Firstly I would go to the accused player and watch him for a bit to see if he is doing so and if its true I would grab him, take him away from anyone else and then talk to him about what he's doing and that he is breaking rules while checking blogs then depending on how the sit goes I would give him a punishment according to it such as a warn, kick or potential ban but if the claim is wrong and the player isn't killing others then I would ignore it.

 

2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function:

Firstly tell the cadet someone will be there soon and if no one is around the cadet room who can train him then I must tell battalion that there is a cadet waiting so they can get someone but if there is not battalion online at that moment I would simply put in chat that there is a cadet needing training so if no one goes down I will begin to pull people there unless they are busy and ensure that NCO gets the priority for it.

 

3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon:

If being on accident then it could be seen as mainly an in-character thing so I would not do anything as staff and allow CG to handle it unless it happened more often or they began intentionally shooting people a lot which then it would become an issue and I would step in as staff

 

4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT:

This is in-character so I would not deal with it as a staff member

 

5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules:

I would explain to them that it is still FailRP however the reason of it not being written down is because common sense is expected to be use with rules such as this because of you were to try write every instance of FailRP it would physically impossible as there could be thousands of situations and I would say that if it wouldn't work in an IRL sense then it will probably not work when in-character so they must be more careful and think before acting.

 

6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing:

I would tell them if they believe they were punished unfairly then they can attempt an appeal on the forums to get the warn looked over then guide them to the forums and then explain why they are getting the punishment then end the claim after handing out the punishment.

Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words):

First off id like to say even though I may lack experience as a staff member and with using ULX I am always willing to listen and learn to improve on myself and I always am willing to accept any criticism which allows me to then better myself as well as I can be professional when the time requires it. I have an extremely strong passion to ensure that this community is a fun and enjoyable place for everyone and I want to be apart of the team that handles a lot of the situations that cause the server to become less fun. I'm quite an active member and have reached Commander which can show I am quite dedicated and can be very responsible as well as mature for my age and within the time I've been in this server not once have I been warned or arrested for any reason. During my time I've made a lot of friends within this community and I want to continue doing so by being a friendly face for everyone and I am always willing to help anyone whenever I can even if I do not know the information I will find it out just to help whoever it may be and I want to make sure that everyone who plays the server can enjoy it in their own way without others ruining those chances as I've learnt a lot from being in this community so I want others to experience what I have as well. 

As a final thing to say Goodluck to everyone with the staff Apps from what I've seen so far the applicants are great people and apologies if this seems lacking I'm not the best at writing things such as this and I appreciate any comments made on this.
