Clone Wars RP Rules and Regulations

1. General Rules
1.1 RDM (Random Death Match)
1.1.1 As a clone or jedi, you cannot kill other republic personnel without permission.
1.1.2 
Scavengers are allowed to fire upon republic personnel when threatened by them.
1.1.3 
Republic personnel are allowed to open fire on scavengers when they initiate the combat (see 4. Scav Rules).


1.2 VDM (Vehicle Death Match)
1.2.1 
If a hostile is in the way, you can run them over. However, this MUST be avoided if possible.

1.3 ARDM (Attempted Random Death Match)
1.3.1 
ARDM is attempting to kill somebody without valid RP reason.

1.4 FearRP
1.4.1 Scavengers have FearRP. So when gunpointed, they can not run off if they are under gunpoint of 3 or more clones.

1.4.2 Admirals and Jedi Also have fearRP. When gunpointed they cannot run off, however they need to be under gunpoint by at least 3 people. 
1.4.3 
When under FearRP, you will have to listen to the demands and comply. This doesn’t include breaking OOC rules and dropping the listed weapons: Personal Lightsaber, Admiral’s Pistol, Cloaking Device, Voice Amplifier, DC-15s Stun Blaster.

1.5 FailRP
1.5.1 
Not all situations can be listed and it is down to using common sense and for non-listed situations, it is down to staff members to decide.
1.5.2 
ALT + E on someone's head is FailRP.
1.5.3 
Breaking character is FailRP.
1.5.4 
Being corrupt as a clone or jedi is FailRP.
1.5.5 
Mentioning Order 66 is FailRP.
1.5.6 
Opening the Holocron Vault as a non-force-sensitive user is FailRP.

1.5.7 Killing yourself or someone to avoid an arrest is FailRP.
1.5.8 Using the sniper rifle or an explosive up close is also FailRP. Snipers are to be used 10 units away from a target, where explosives are to be used from a safe distance that doesn't damage the user.
1.5.9 Using a med-kit while in combat is FailRP. However, this rule does not apply to stim shots or bacta gels.

1.5.10 Head glitching is FailRP.
1.5.11 HP Rushing is FailRP (see 7.1.2)

1.6 Metagaming
1.6.1 
Using OOC information like chat, tab menu, overhead name to influence your in character decision is Metagaming.

1.7 New Life Rule
1.7.1 
NLR is when you use information from your past life to influence your new life decisions. Breaking NLR is considered FailRP.
1.7.2 You may not continue your past life's activities. (e.g. You die after being robbed and you respawn and go after the culprits).

1.7.3 Scavengers have a 10 minute NLR, where they cannot engage in any illegal action after dying or released from an arrest.

1.8 LTAP (Leave to avoid Punishment) & LTARP (Leave to avoid RP Punishment)
1.8.1 
LTAP is exiting the server when receiving a OOC punishment, e.g. Admin sit.
1.8.2 
LTARP is exiting the server when receiving an IC punishment, e.g. Brig time.

1.9 Powergaming
1.9.1 
Powergaming is using /me to roleplay that you have done an action that you can’t physically do (e.g. ‘/me kills (name)’ or ‘/me injects (name) to cause them to pass out’).


1.10 RDA (Random Arrest)
1.10.1 RDA stands for Random Arrest, meaning getting someone arrested for a false reason, which will result in a warn.


2. Chat Rules
2.1 General Chat
2.1.1 
Spamming in chat is not allowed and will result in a punishment.
2.1.2 
The server is only english speaking so you must always speak and type English at all times.
2.1.3 Private messages cannot be used for IC situations.
2.1.4 
Advertising information about other communities will result in a permanent ban.
2.1.5 Making unnecessary claims can result in a warning.
2.1.6 Any offensive comment (racism, sexism etc) is strictly prohibited.


2.2 IC & OOC Chat
2.2.1 
In character comms should only be used for in character situations.
2.2.2 
Out of character chat should only be used for out of character situations.

 


3. Player Event Rules
3.1 Kidnapping
3.1.1 You are only able to cuff a player if they are unarmed, OR if their weapon is on safety and you cuff them from behind.

3.1.2 When someone is kidnapped, you can’t just leave them for longer than 10 minutes. You can either kill or release them. If not, the player can call staff to respawn.
3.1.3 
When you have a republic personnel kidnapped, you can ask for demands of the republic, this could be weapons or vehicles and safe passage.

3.1.4 You must wait 30 minutes before kidnapping the same player.

3.2 Combat baiting
3.2.1
 Intentionally instigating combat against Republic forces before running away, in an attempt to get them to chase you is not allowed & will result in punishment. This includes using vehicles.


3.3 Ambush
3.3.1 You must type "/advert Ambush" before ambushing republic forces outside MB, where they'll have a choice to surrender or fight back.

3.3.2 You may NOT randomly shoot Clones Inside Main Base at all times.

4. Scavenger Rules
4.1 General Rules & Information
4.1.1 S
cavengers are AOS upon entering republic areas, unless they are hostile or armed, which will result in KOS.
4.1.2 You are allowed to start shooting republic personnel once they have started to pursue you.
4.1.3 
You are allowed to raid the base and can rob vehicles, supply caches etc.
4.1.4 Following 4.1.3, it doesn’t mean you can do whatever when in base. These are examples are disallowed actions:

  • Disrupting any training, tryout or medical roleplay.

  • Entering any training area. 

  • Spawncamping (e.g. waiting in bunks to cuff a player on spawn)

4.1.5 You are not allowed to picklock large doors like main/side hangar doors. If uncertain, ask staff before proceeding.
4.1.6 You are allowed to steal all types of vehicles.
4.1.7 You are not allowed to play the jobs when an event is happening, if a staff or EP has to ask you more than once, it will result in a warning.


5.  Republic Platinum VIP Jobs
5.1 General Rules & Information
5.1.1 You may not work with scavangers or any faction against the republic. 
5.1.2 Senate Guards are not a police regiment like CG and are not to be acting as such.

6. Building Rules
6.1 General Rules & Information
6.1.1 You are allowed to block off buildings with fading doors. Each door must have a keypad next to them on both sides and must be used to interact with them (using fading door keybinds is FailRP)   [Maximum of 2 doors]
6.1.2 Bases must be RP friendly and raidable. Staff may remove bases deemed unrealistic.

6.1.3 You are allowed to put up building signs. Your base can not be raided while you are building. Hiding in a house that is under construction, so you don't get caught is not allowed.
6.1.4 Defending your building from raiders is allowed.
6.1.5 One way walls are prohibited.

7. Event Character Rules
7.1 General Rules & Information
7.1.1 As an Event Character (EC), you are to follow the Event Planners instructions at all times.
7.1.2 HP Rushing is when a single player pushes a group of 2+ hostiles and is strictly prohibited. If there are 2 or more players, they may push any amount of hostiles. Infected ECs are not bound by this rule.

We are unable to write every rule that is possible, so unwritten rules still exist. When playing the server, use common sense and think twice about decisions. If unsure, ask staff beforehand.
