Additional Recognition Rule

I am bringing rationality and logic to the table with this suggestion; does it not make sense for GOIs to able to recognize FAs or other foundation affiliated personnel/allies when they directly, in personal, witness them (un)lock the blue doors leading to each entrance point

 

 and/or use a clearance keycard to get inside or out. Those keycards are ONLY exclusively linked and created for members of the SCP Foundation, right? I mean, shouldn't GOIs by default know that the only organization that equips its members with specially made clearance keycards are affiliated with the same exact previously mentioned faction?

 

in short and other words - make it so that GOIs can immediately determine that those who are caught using foundation keycards and keys as players aligned with the foundation

forget the keycards then.  I do realize how fucked it is to sus or kos  someone because of seeing them with a clearance keycard but how bout the keys? That any better or sensible? I guess not.

Don't be discouraged from suggesting stuff. Server always has room for improvement.

just by the first two reactions I know for damn sure this isn't going to work out. We can all predict the outcome at this point.

I've definitely been caught before for using keys on foundation , it's the same logic of someone using the keycard to open GA , so idk if it's expicitely in the rules but i definitely remember you could use that fact that someone had bluedoor keys to identify them as foundation

that's fascinating.

 

I remember asking a moderator ingame  3 days ago about that myself and after he conversed with his fellow staff members it was concluded that it wasn't allowed due to it being unclear and not in the actual ruleset.

You can ID them as Foundation as far as I'm aware but that doesnt mean you can shoot(hurr durr they might be unarmed)

If you are aware of the existence and location of the foundation you can suspect people of being Foundation members if they lock/unlock blue door.
