In-Game name: (Regiment, Rank and then your name)

 CT PFC Ginge

All Previous Ranks Obtained: (Highest Per Regiment)

CG Vice Commander, Fleet Officer Cadet, CT Major, Jedi Knight, 397th Sr Researcher (back when it existed)

What should we pick you for Battalion: (200 Words - Minimum)

You should pick me for Battalion for several reasons. First of all, despite current rank, I have had multiple officer ranks in the past, in which I have demonstrated leading ability, including a brief time in Fleet, back when they hosted intense tryouts, instead of having an application process. Furthermore, I am a very disciplined member of the server, which goes in hand with my time as a previous member of CG. Another reason that supports my application is that I have a good rapport with most of the people that I have met on the server. I do my best to not antagonize anyone, in order to keep any potential disputes between myself and other players to a minimum. I understand how it is important to keep a good relation with the other players, so that all of the people active on the server can enjoy themselves and when an event happens, work better together because of it. Finally, I believe that my disciplined, yet somewhat easy going and relaxed personality would be a fine addition to Battalion, as I can have a laugh when I feel like it is appropriate, and become serious at a moments notice, to get things done.

Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion: (100 Words - Minimum)

The members of Battalion are the ones responsible for commanding the bases that the Republic occupies. They also have to make sure that all of the duties that are needed to be done, whether that be on planet or on ships, are done efficiently and effectively. They are expected to be a cut above the rest, due to the fact that Battalion have to set an example  to all of the soldiers that they command. Due to this, strict rules are in force, with punishments for those who break them. Battalion are also responsible for supervising the regiments, advising and assessing them, to make sure that they are always combat ready

Have you ever been demoted or striked in any regiment: (If so, explain why)

I have been demoted, due to some inactivity. I had some issues with connection to the server, and I couldn't keep up an LOA indefinitely, as I didn't know when the issue would be fixed. Combine that with just beginning a new semester at university, and I hadn't come back in a long time, so the decision was made to demote me from Major to PFC, to make room for someone else who had been able to be more active in the time where I couldn't make it onto the server. Fortunately the issue seems to have been resolved.

Do you understand that Battalion is a very respectable and disciplined rank:

Yes I understand, and will do my best to uphold those standards

What do Battalion do during Combat, when they are not leading: (IN DETAIL)

During combat, when not leading the event, it is a member of Battalions duty to oversee/aid the regiment(s) that they are supervising, using the equipment they have in order to bolster said regiments effectiveness. That being said, you can't order the regiment however you want to, taking more of an advisory role. You can go to frontlines or midlines, depending on the specialty of the regiment that you supervise, but also be wary of the equipment you use and its effective range.

What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted as part of his mentoring session:

The three duties that a BOC must complete as a part of the mentoring are as follows: Leading an Event using a Voice Amplifier, Leading an Open Simulation and Complete a Debrief to an acceptable standard

What rank can the Battalion Brigadier Promote and Demote up to:

Battalion Brigadier can promote and demote to Captain

What rank and above can use two pieces of Regimental Equipment:

 Battalion Colonel +

Anything else:

I would like to thank you for reading this application, and if it does get denied, I would appreciate any feedback that could be given to help improve any applications that I do in the future.

I know this seems harsh but let me start off with the good stuff. Most of the application is well written and laid out in a very easy way to understand and read. Along with that it seem to have respect from some people on the server who are high ranks. Which is a good start However my concerns just overweight everything.

Firstly you are a very old player. Fleet Officer Cadet and 397th are old. Old enough were I had to speak to a knowledgeable person to see if it even existed. That just shows to me that you are possibly out of touch with the new style of doing stuff. Along with that I don't believe you have reached Major in months (Possibly years) and I have no clue who you are. Back inn the day maybe you were well known but I wouldn't feel comfortable having a guy who hasn't been here for awhile join battalion. It would mean you would have to learn from scratch and then learn everything a battalion should.

Another issue is your "Why should we pick you for battalion" question. I keep going on about this to everyone, you give me a reason but 0 examples. You are a leader? Okay show me. Give me an example of where you lead something. If it didn't go well, how did you improve from it? Not just "Yeah I had a high rank so it shows I am a leader". Along with that it just seems like a 200 word story about how you have been in CG so it shows your discipline. That's great but where is the team work section? Or about your amazing strategic mind? It is just lacking key things I expect.

My suggestion to you. Get to Major. Doesn't matter what regiment, but get to Major. Get known from the new people and come back with a better app, giving me examples.

Good luck Ginge,
