The role of the staff is mainly to enforce the rules stated by the community leaders and making sure players enjoy their stay on the server. 
Also helping out new players and explaining things is part of the job

 

Give some historical context about the time the server is set in (75 words+):

We are currently in 1941. Germany launched the big invasion of the Soviet Union in russia during World War II, codenamed Operation Barbarossa. So we are now currently in the middle of a great fight with the soviet union. Our Fuhrer himself thought of a quick and easy victory but after initial success, the what would end up as an brutal campaign dragged on and eventually failed due to strategic blunders of the german forces. Also the very cold winter weather, and the determined Soviet resistance and attrition suffered by German forces.

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

1) You are told by a player in admin chat that another player is randomly killing people:

I would bring the player who made the report.
I would ask them if they have any proof.
If so I can warn the player incase of a single RDM, Or ban the player for Mass RDM
If not I will cloak and go to the reported player. I will spectate him for a while to see if I can catch him in the act of breaking a rule.

If I then catch him in the act of breaking a rule I can still punish him.

 

2) You are asked by a player about how to become a Third Reich official:

I will explain them what different factions we have: NSDAP, Army or Police.

I'll then ask them what interest them the most and which faction they want to take part in.

I'll then explain how they can become a applikant for that faction.

 

3) You catch somebody not performing RP and that are messing around:

I would ask the player to please roleplay properly. 
If they don't listen to my request, I will demand it. Taking them to a roof and telling them this is a serious RP server and that they need to act accordingly.
If they after this request still minge around I will punish them by banning them for 1 - 2 weeks Tier I or 2 weeks - Perma for NITRP.

 

4) Somebody acquires a rank but is not willing to RP with it properly:

I would talk to the player and ask him why he is not playing his rank properly.
If he doesn't know how to play his rank or doesn't know what to do, I'll explain him how to do this.

If he doesn't want to play anyway I would punish the player by either warning and/or kicking him. If this would involve a "veteran" player a ban could be given.

IC wise we can't act, this will be up to his respective higher up within the regiment.

 

5) A player is prop spamming:

Go to them, Freeze them immediately so they can't spam any more props. 
Prop spamming can results in crashing the server.

This will result in a Perma-ban stated in the Punishment list

The main difference is Intention.
Tier I is non intentional or not knowing the rules.
Tier II Is intentional and the player has knowledge of the rules and knows he is breaking the rules.

 

Tier I mostly results in a Verbal warning or a light punishment like a warning and/or kick
Tier II Can result in a ban.

 

2) Explain the difference between IC and OOC. Also define Meta Gaming:

IC stands for In-Character meaning the chat is being used for Roleplay purpose.
For example using chat, radio or voice chat

OOC stands for Out Of Character meaning the chat is being used for non roleplay purpose.

For example using // , /looc or any other OOC chat

Meta gaming is using OOC information in IC and using it to gain an RP advantage

 

3) Explain the difference between Serious RP and Semi-Serious RP:

The name explains the most.

Serious Roleplay is Roleplay closest to reality, Following all the rules and acting like a real character, keeping all performances high and to a standard.

Semi-serious Roleplay is a bit more allowing to not following the rules strictly and allows more space for OOC mixed with IC, for example talking OOC in IC Voice chat

 

4) Define PassiveRP and explain it's role and importance in a serious RP gamemode:

Passive Roleplay is very important in serious Roleplay.
Passive Roleplay is focusing on yourself and your character.
The use of /me commands are very high to keep passive roleplay on and it is very important to use those commands in a serious Roleplay server.
For example when opening the door for the Obergruppenfuhrer u will do  "/me opens door" to roleplay opening the door.

 

5) Define the term of Combat Baiting:

Combat baiting is what it says.
You are baiting someone out to go into combat with you.
For example: You are yelling to a Police Anwarter that you have a gun. This results in the Police anwarter wanting to arrest you for weapon checking you for saying you have a gun. Now that he wants to go ahead and arrest you, you engage in combat.

I should be chosen to be a staff member for this community because I'm very very active, I make atleast 7 - 8 hours every day. I am very flexible, Staff member needed on the server? message me or ping the #staff needed on the guilded and I'll be right there. Also a very nice thing is that I am still online at akward times for example midnight and early in the morning, meaning I can help  out a lot with enforcing the rules when there are not a lot or even no staff members online at these times.

I am very dedicated. For example: if I say im going to do something, I'll do it. I always do my best and I will always be honest and fair. I don't do half work, If I start something, I am finishing it. I am a teamplayer, I can work in a team but I am also very capable of doing my work on my own, I don't mind either.

 

I have not been banned or kicked. so I have a clean record I also try my best to teach players how to RP properly, A position as staff would greatly help me do this job and help the new players.
 

I also want to progress up the ranks for this server and I understand the rules and know the commands. I also have practise in sits and RP which would make me a prime staff since I know my way around in these sits and RP situations. I also have experience at administrating on your SCP-RP server a few years ago but I had resign due to school and lack of time. Now I do not have school anymore and only work a few hours a day so this gives me more then enough time to be on the server.

I am currently a event planner and I have acces to ULX. I know my way around the commands and ULX. I nearly have 2,000 hours on Garry's mod so I know my way around the game aswell. Also when I am online I see all the sits as a event planner and when staff members are ocupied or not available to take those sits, I would be able and take so many of those sits quickly to help the players who require assistance and get them back to roleplaying again. Also when playing on the server I often see people breaking rules, As a event planner I can not act on this and need to call for staff. In this time the player commiting the rulebreaking has already stopped, Done it again or left the server making it a hard situation for the staff member who comes to me to actually act on the situation. Being a staff member myself would make this way easier to act on this and teach the player or punish the player for breaking the server rules.

Since Brunner left me to get kidnapped, a halftrack get stolen and RS being raided to take a sit before. He could have just taken this sit now aswell.

Nice and active member of the server.  Was in the 1SS with me and I was his NCO. Also always see him in orpo as one of the more competent members. He is in the wrong-ish but a perm ban is really heavy in my opinion.

Back in 2014 till 2016 Ive been a staff member on the Werwolf gaming SCPRP server. Reaching the rank of Senior administrator. Since the server shutdown I've never been able to proof it or to have the chance to speak to a CAT member to discuss this.
