  1. In-game name(s): Battalion 2nd LT Herold Steam Name: hegol Steam ID: (https://steamidfinder.com/): STEAM_0:1:121911323 Age when applying: 21 What country do you currently reside in? What is your time-zone: Germany, GMT +1 Can you speak and type English fluently: Yes, very well Current total game-time on the server (type !time): 2mo 3w 4d 21h 32m. IC Rank(s) and OOC Donation Rank(s) on CWRP: Battalion 2nd LT | Platinum VIP Do you own a working microphone? When you communicate do you type or speak: I usually speak, typing isn't an issue either however When did you join the server? Have you taken any breaks since: 17/01/2023, I have taken a break from September until early December due to work reasons that have now been resolved. How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, CWRP Discord and our forums: I am on the Teamspeak server daily alongside with the Discord, I check forums every now and then to make sure I don't miss anything important, having important sections bookmarked. State all your previous OOC punishments (bans, kicks etc.) and a screenshot of your list of warns. (Go in game and type !warns.) Upload it to http://imgur.com/ or as a steam community screenshot and include the link). Your game time must be visible as well in the screenshot. (Type !time then open warns menu, and drag the menu so chat is visible with the time): None State the role of staff on the server: The Staff teams job on the Server is to make sure that everyone has a pleasant roleplaying experience and overall an enjoyable time while playing. Staff are to be unbiased and impartial at all times and only act when provided with enough evidence. They help out exclusively in Out-Of-Character situations and don't meddle with In-Character issues. Staff should give a helping hand whenever they can and assist people with, for example, being stuck in places, SIM's, giving noclip, weapons, vehicles,... Shutting down arguments between players or overall rulebreakers are also dealt with and punished by Staff. Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? Yes, I've read them multiple times and have a good understanding of the rules. List of all previous server staff experience: WG CWRP Administrator Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: Yes, I understand Former Staff Questions (Remove these if you have not been staff on our server before): 1 ) For how long were you a staff member on CWRP: Around 2 Months 2 ) What rank did you reach before leaving the staff team: Administrator 3 ) Were you demoted or did you resign? Why: I resigned, I had some issues with my workplace, which did not allow me to continue playing on the server. Now that it has been resolved and I have plenty of time again. 4 ) In hindsight, what would you have done differently as a staff member: I was actively trying to make the server a more enjoyable experience for all players, helping out where I can. This will not change, so I wouldn't do much differently. 5 ) How have you improved since you left the staff team: I've matured more over time and have a calmer outlook on things. Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: First, I would teleport to the person that is accused of killing clones in noclip to see if the report is true or not, after having confirmed that said player is randomly killing others, I would freeze them in place and bring them to me to some remote area of the map without anyone around except me and the suspect. Then I'd check blogs to see how much damage they have done in general and how many people they've hurt/killed. Following this, I'd inform them on what they did wrong and punish said person accordingly, ranging from a warn to a kick to even a ban. If the punishment was not ban-worthy, I would return them to the last location they were stationed and observe them in noclip for a bit to make sure they would behave and wouldn't repeat their actions. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: Firstly, I would teleport to the Cadet and inform them that I will bring them a trainer very soon. Next I would check around the Cadet Area and see if there are any NCO around to assign them to the cadet, if there were none around I would go to a Battalion member and inform them that a Cadet needs training and that they should send someone to train said Cadet. If no trainers show up, or there are currently no Battalion members online, I would ask in OOC chat if any NCO+ would like to train a cadet, before I would start to bring people forcibly. Of course, if the person I brought was busy, I'd return them to their business and continue going down the list of NCO's, CO's and so on. 3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: This situation is a bit tricky, since it could have been on purpose or an accident. Unfortunately there is no clear way to tell, so I would leave this to be dealt with by the Clone Guards or Battalion in an In-Character fashion. After the debrief is over, I'd go up to the Clone Trooper and inform them on how to properly safety their weapon so a situation like this won't happen again. 4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: This is an In-Character issue and should be dealt with as an In-Character matter. Staff only acts upon Out-Of-Character issues. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: I would direct said person to the rules in the forums and inform him that not every single rule can be written down, which is said at the very bottom of the rules, further explaining that common sense should be used when doing certain things In-Character. Explaining once more that if something does not make sense IRL it would also not make sense In-Character. Lastly I would then warn said person and return them to their last location. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I would try and make them understand on how they broke the rules and explain exactly what happened to reduce confusion. If, after this, said person still does not agree with my punishment, I would direct them to the WG Forums to create a ticket to get their warn appealed. To reduce further arguments I would follow through with the warn and then return the player to their last location. Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I would like to start this off by saying that I am very active member of the community and that I am pretty much always on the Server unless I am at work or busy, this alongside my 1 year+ commitment to the server has made me an experienced member of the Server. I am very passionate about the Server and it's members as it has been a great source of joy and I truly enjoy playing on it, being a member of Staff would allow me to further help players so people can hopefully enjoy the server as much as I do. I am dedicated as you can see from my activity and this being my third application to Staff, while also having achieved high ranks in the past, and climbing back to them currently. I am mature, know how to take responsibility, trusted and know when to be serious. Following this, I'd like to mention that I am unbiased, professional and reasonable when dealing with matters, I'd also like to think that I am approachable and an overall friendly person. In addition to this, I have previous ULX experience and overall staffing experience on this Server, which has made me have a great understanding of how Staffing works. However this does not mean that I have learned everything, I am always open to learning new things as I am an eager learner, also knowing when to accept my faults. Communication is key and if I am ever unsure about things, I would not shy away from asking my Mentor or fellow Staff about an issue. Lastly I'd like to say that I am open to criticism and that I encourage it and if I was given the opportunity to join the Staff team again I would do everything in my ability to make the Server a greater place.

Have you taken any breaks since: 17/01/2023, I have taken an involuntary break from September until early December, and one small break while playing. How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, CWRP Discord and our forums: I use Teamspeak and Discord daily. I check the forums weekly to make sure I'm up to date with any new changes coming to the server. I have all important channels bookmarked on the forums so I know when a ban/warn appeal or anything of the sort is posted. State all your previous OOC punishments (bans, kicks etc.) and a screenshot of your list of warns. (Go in game and type !warns.) Upload it to http://imgur.com/ or as a steam community screenshot and include the link). Your game time must be visible as well in the screenshot. (Type !time then open warns menu, and drag the menu so chat is visible with the time): None State the role of staff on the server: Staff ensures that every player has a pleasant experience on the Server and helps out when need be. Staff also must remain impartial at all times and only handle with the proper evidence from logs or clips. Taking claims and fulfilling the needs of the players, if of course, it's a reasonable and a valid claim. Dealing with people that can be mingy and just overall rulebreakers. Helping out when people have questions and staying professional is also a task of Staff. Last but not least Staff ONLY acts on OOC matters. Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? I have refreshed my memory and am familiar with all rules that have been added. List of all previous server staff experience: WG CWRP Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: Naturally Former Staff Questions (Remove these if you have not been staff on our server before): 1 ) For how long were you a staff member on CWRP: Roughly 2 Months 2 ) What rank did you reach before leaving the staff team: Administrator 3 ) Were you demoted or did you resign? Why? Resigned, I was very busy IRL with my job, which didn't allow me to do much else other than work. 4 ) In hindsight, what would you have done differently as a staff member: I was always trying my best to make the server a more enjoyable experience for all players, helping out where and when I can. And this will not change, so, I wouldn't do a lot differently. 5 ) How have you improved since you left the staff team: It hasn't been that long since I was last in Staff for me to have made a drastic change in personality. I'm still the same as you can remember. Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: I would TP to said "somebody" in noclip to see and spectate what they are doing. If it turns out to be true that they are running around and killing people, I'd pick them up with my physgun and drag them to some out of bounds area with no players around. Then I'd check the logs to see how many people he's injured/killed and explain what he's done wrong and hand out the punishment accordingly. If the punishment was not ban worthy, I'd bring him back to where he last was, tell him not to do it again and keep an eye on him using the logs, or just following him in noclip. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: I would take the claim, TP to the Cadet and check if there is anyone nearby that could train them in the Cadet Area, if not I'd go to a Battalion Member and tell them to send someone to train that cadet, if this is not possible for some reason, I'd ask in OOC Chat if anyone NCO+ wants to train this Cadet before I would bring someone forcibly. Of course, if the person I bring is busy, they get returned to their business. 3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: This could have been a mistake or could have been done on purpose, there's no real way to tell, however I would leave this to the Hierarchy and CG to make the appropriate punishment In-Character. After the debrief I'd go up to him and tell him how to properly safety his weapon, but mistakes happen. 4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: This isn't a job for Staff to deal with since this an In-Character situation. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: I'd explain that not everything can be stated in the rules as they would be extremely long, and to use common sense when doing things, for him to treat his character as if it were him in real life. Further explaining that if something doesn't make sense for him to do in real life it would also not make sense in character. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I'd inform said person I would still have to go through with the punishment since he broke a rule. Then explaining that if he thinks the punishment is unjust, he can go to the official WG Forums and make an appeal for his warn there and give him my name. After all that has been said and done, he'd get returned to his original position to avoid further argumentation. Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I'd like to start this off by saying I have been part of the Staff team before and have experience and understanding dealing with minges and all kinds of people, I know my way around the ULX and have reached high ranks in the past to show that I am a trusted member of the community. My activity has also been a big play in this and now that I have time again I find myself actively playing on the Server again. Furthermore I have no issues asking fellow Staff if I am unsure about doing something. I am eager to learn new things and know when to admit that I am wrong. I am easy to approach, matured more since my last stay and know when to be serious. I'd like to also say that I am dedicated to this Server and want to help and see it grow. I know how to deal with difficult situations, such as very mingy players or disputes that should not be happening. I have and always will be professional in Staffing situations. Now of course, I will make mistakes, unfortunately I am also just a human, but I will always try my best to learn from them and improve myself from them. Being a part of the Staff team would allow me to provide for a better experience of all players. In my free time I am pretty much always on the Server, and if I am not, I am just a mere Discord ping/Teamspeak poke away to help. Lastly, I encourage constructive criticism and feedback. Regretfully I have had to leave the Server because of me not having the time, but this has been resolved now as I have found a new place and won't happen again. Staffing has genuinely been the most fun I've had on the Server helping people out. Also apologies for the strange lines again, not sure how to get rid of them. Thank you for reading.

Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I have been playing on the server for a couple of months now, staying as active as I was when I joined the server. I am passionate about the community and the server overall. I am professional and reasonable when dealing with matters and act without bias. I am easy to approach, friendly and am always ready to answer any questions towards anything someone might be unsure about. I genuinely enjoy helping people out and am an eager learner. I have lots of free time and am pretty much always playing on the server if I am not at work, so I am online very late at night when nearly no staff are on and sometimes early in the mornings. I would love to learn the ways of Staff and by no means will I be perfect, however I will try my damn hardest to be the best version of myself, always trying to improve myself. I don't shy away from asking questions and am a curious guy, so if I am ever unsure about if I am doing something wrong, I would go to my Mentor. I know how to deal with arguments and how to de-escalate situations appropriately. I am here for the long run and the well-being of the server, becoming Staff would enable me to do more for the community and hopefully turn it into a more enjoyable place for newer and older players alike. I am able to take criticism well and encourage it. Thank you for reading and apologies for the strange lines, they were there when I pasted in the template.
  9. +1 Positives - Great professional application and well written - Good activity - Nice guy, easy to talk to - Has been here for a long time and knows how stuff works Negatives - N/A Neutral - Sometimes can mess around a bit too much and act a bit unprofessional Final notes I'm sure Denny will tone down on the messing about if he gets accepted into Battalion. Overall nice guy and fun lad, you deserve a shot at Battalion, good luck.
  10. Neutral - Good Application and good answers given to the questions. -You being a developer and working on multiple things at once does raise some concerns for your activity, however you did state that you could manage it. -Playtime is also a concern, however you did get the OK from Cheese. I have not heard much from you or seen you much in game so I do not really have an opinion on you. Good luck on your Application nonetheless.
  11. Out of Character Section (OOC) - Steam Name: Herold Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:121911323 Current OOC rank on the server and / or in other communities (e.g. Plat VIP, Mod, Event Planner): Platinum VIP Age (Must be 14+): 20 What is your playtime (2+ Weeks Minimum): 3w 3d 10h 42m Do you have a microphone, is it good quality: Yes Have you read through the Battalion Handbook, and extending documents from it: Yes, thoroughly Do you meet the requirements: Yes I do State all previous OOC punishment (Kicks, Bans and Warnings | Including Discord / Team Speak) and provide a screenshot of your list of warnings (Go in-game and do !warns) then provide a screenshot: None In Character Section (IC) - In-Game name (Regiment, Rank then your name): CT Senior Medic Colonel Herold Highest rank obtained (Including previous): Temporary Deputy Medical Officer, CT Temporary Executive Officer, 104th Sergeant, CT Senior Medic Colonel Have you ever been demoted or striked in any regiment (If so explain the reason): No What is the Battalion Motto: "Lead your men to death. Honour is better than surrender." Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion (100 words minimum): Battalion has the responsibility to be strict, professional and being someone people can look up to and respect. They have the role of being active, looking for what people say and assessing the information appropriately, granting/denying adverts, controlling every regiment in battle making sure they have their tasks and are not idling around and to manage the base when not in combat to make sure people are abiding by the rules and behave as they should. Battalion has to act reasonably, mature and think before they speak to give out orders accordingly and without fail. Battalion ensures there are no stalemates in combat using their knowledge to push their troops forward with passion and certainty. Also making sure that the troops have something to do and don't idle around when on Defcon 5, for example weapon/bunk inspections and patrols. Lastly members of Battalion should be friendly and respectful towards their soldiers and fellow brothers and answer any questions they might have towards any issues or problems. Why should we pick you for Battalion (200 words minimum): Since my last application I have shown increased activity and serious hard work showing that I am very serious and dedicated to joining the ranks of Battalion. I have since then reached the rank of Senior Medic and have also been trusted to become the Temporary Deputy Medical Officer, actively getting experience, as Medical Corps Command shares some of the responsibilities of Battalion. I have also further increased my leading skills whilst being a Colonel in CT, leading my troops confidently to victory. As stated in my last application I was also trusted to become the rank of Temporary Executive Officer, absolving my duties diligently and without fail. I would again like to mention that I strongly enjoy the professionalism and seriousness of Battalion and that I am eager to learn the responsibilities and roles of the Battalion and prove myself as a proud member. Being an active member, being mature, this being my second application showing dedication and not having issues with getting my points across or saying what needs to be said if the opportunity calls for it also makes me a good candidate. I understand the weight of your actions and words as a Battalion member are heavy and I am ready to take on full responsibility for them. Lastly I would like to mention that I encourage constructive feedback and take it very seriously to improve on the mistakes I make to contribute to me being a better leader and person in the unfought battles or situations that lie ahead. Do you understand that Battalion is a very respectable and disciplined rank? Yes I do What do Battalion do during combat, when they are not leading (In detail): At all times the Battalion member should be near or directly together with the regiment they are supervising, directly assisting them in combat with their skills. For example, if the Battalion member were to supervise the Clone Trooper regiment they would be expected to stay near the front lines to help out their regiment. It is important to note in this scenario that the Battalion member should never be the one leading the charge under any circumstance, only assist. If however the Battalion member is not supervising any of the front line regiments, they would need to stay further back towards the middle lines with the regiment they are supervising. The non leading Battalion member must obey the leading Battalion member and listen to their orders. They are not permitted to give out orders to their regiment and act like a fourth Hierarchy, orders are to be left to the commanding officer at the time. What the Battalion member can do however, is give out recommendations or suggestions on for example, where to move to in order to get into a better position to catch the enemy off guard or prepare for incoming attacks in a more cautious and prepared matter. What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted? -Host an open training -Lead a planetary attack with a successful briefing/debrief -Lead a base attack with the usage of voice amplification What rank can Battalion Brigadier Promote and Demote up to: Captain and below Anything else?: Thank you for reading my second battalion application. Apologies for the strange lines, they were there when I pasted in the template and I do not know how to get rid of them.
  12. Out of Character Section (OOC) - Steam Name: dagoth Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:121911323 Current OOC rank on the server and / or in other communities (e.g. Plat VIP, Mod, Event Planner): Platinum VIP Age (Must be 14+): 20 What is your playtime (2+ Weeks Minimum): 2w 1d 1h 24m Do you have a microphone, is it good quality: Yes and yes it is Have you read through the Battalion Handbook, and extending documents from it: Yes, very thoroughly Do you meet the requirements: Yes, I do State all previous OOC punishment (Kicks, Bans and Warnings | Including Discord / Team Speak) and provide a screenshot of your list of warnings (Go in-game and do !warns) then provide a screenshot: None In Character Section (IC) - In-Game name (Regiment, Rank then your name): CT Medic Major Herold Highest rank obtained (Including previous): 104th SGT, CT Major, CT Temp EXO Have you ever been demoted or striked in any regiment (If so explain the reason): No, I have not What is the Battalion Motto: "Lead your men to death. Honour is better than surrender" Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion (100 words minimum): Battalion has the responsibility of being professional at all times, keeping calm and collected and being an overall staple to the community. They have the role of being active, granting/denying adverts, controlling all regiments on the battlefield and overseeing everyone out of combat to make sure people are abiding the rules and behaving as they should. Battalion acts mature and reasonable, thinks before they speak and do not argue over irrelevant issues. Also ensuring that there will be no stalemates during combat, and that people out of combat have something to do, for example weapon inspections or patrols. Another responsibility would be to be friendly and respectful towards the community and answer any questions people might have towards anything, since battalion is a highly knowledgeable regiment full of strategists. Why should we pick you for Battalion (200 words minimum): I would make a great addition to the team because I have loads of experience in leading since I am from CT. There are plenty of new people joining the regiment daily so when leading events you need to be extra thorough and clear with your callouts so they understand. Applying as a CT should also show that I am very dedicated and loyal to what I do since the regiment does not have a lot to offer on it's own. I have reached the rank of temporary Executive Officer for the regiment aswell, so I have good experience with being a model for newer and older players, being in power, knowing my way around spreadsheets and being responsible for my own actions. Next I would like to mention that I personally believe that I am a friendly and approachable person and get along with others easily and am always open for any questions anyone might have or any support that is needed. After this, I would like to say that I very much enjoy the professionalism and seriousness of battalion and I will certainly uphold them to the best of my capabilities. I am confident and know how to speak in front of a large amount of people so leading will not be an issue. I understand the roles, responsibilities and duties of battalion and am prepared and ready to take them on and fulfill them. I am very active, mature and do not flinch away from giving my opinion on things if the opportunity calls for it. However, this does not mean that I am perfect and will always do everything perfectly, of course I will actively try to do so, but I am still human so mistakes happen. Which brings me to my next point, I am very open and encourage constructive feedback from people so I can improve and strive to be a better person and leader in the battles ahead. Do you understand that Battalion is a very respectable and disciplined rank? Yes, I do What do Battalion do during combat, when they are not leading (In detail): Battalion should stay near the regiment they are supervising, assisting them with their skills in combat. If the battalion member is supervising 501st as an example and not leading, they may remain close to the front lines to accompany their regiment. However, if a battalion member was not supervising 501st they would be expected to remain toward the middle lines.
