Since then I have been on daily apart from a single day, achieved much in little time, have taken no breaks, and feel like have the skillset to step up and provide more for the server. How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, CWRP Discord and our forums: I will be brutally honest. I rarely use the TS3 Server, as my Regiment bases their Comms through Discord, however, I have a LOT of experience in the past using TS3, for both Arma and Garry's mod alike. I use the discord daily, both to log, to chat, and assist users with minor issues such as pac3. I check the forums daily, however this has been on a guest account, as I have never felt the need to post until now. State all your previous OOC punishments (bans, kicks etc.) and a screenshot of your list of warns. (Go in game and type !warns.) Upload it to http://imgur.com/ or as a steam community screenshot and include the link). Your game time must be visible as well in the screenshot. (Type !time then open warns menu, and drag the menu so chat is visible with the time): N/A - https://imgur.com/a/f9HIzj1 (Cant drag warns meny) State the role of staff on the server: The role of staff is vital to the overall functioning and community of the server. Staff members are responsible for enforcing the server's rules and regulations, and for maintaining a safe and enjoyable playing experience for all players. One of the primary responsibilities of staff is to monitor player behaviour and intervene when necessary to address any rule-breaking or disruptive behaviour. This may include issuing warnings, kicks, or bans to players who violate the rules. Additionally, staff members are responsible for responding to player reports and complaints, and for investigating and addressing any issues that may arise. Another important aspect of the staff role is to provide assistance and support to players. This may include answering questions, resolving technical issues, and helping players navigate the server and its features. Staff members are also responsible for ensuring that all players are treated fairly and with respect, and for fostering a positive and inclusive community. Overall, the role of staff is multi-faceted and requires a combination of strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to creating a positive and engaging community. Staff members are the backbone of a successful server and play a vital role in ensuring that all players have an enjoyable and satisfying experience. Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? Yes I have - I am very familiar with them as they are similar to other servers I have played on. List of all previous server staff experience: I have 1600 hours on Garry's Mod. I have spent that time in many many Star Wars RP servers. Please See Below a brief list of any notable positions I may have held in the past. (All of these servers have since shut down however I still have references for the majority of these positions should you need: YEAR - HOST SERVER - SERVER NAME - RANK - What I was responsible for / Learnt in said position 2019 - Superior Servers - Supreme Servers CWRP - Staff Manager - Just before my long break from Garry's Mod, I took up the position of Staff Manager for a server called Supreme Servers (The abbreviation sucks I know). It was here that I was able to form my own staff applications, was responsible for the performance and upkeep of the entire staff team, and had to ensure productivity and professionalism. Fun fact - all that remains that I have access to is a single google doc outlining its failed rebrand which I contributed to. 2019 - Outer Haven - OH Vietnam RP - Community Advisor - In this position I was responsible for assisting the Server Managers and Founder in making essential decisions that have a very large impact on the community. It was essentially the rank just above Server Manager in the CAT Hierarchy. 2019 - Outer Haven - OH WWI RP - Server Manager - In this position I was responsible for our WWI TDM server which hit max slots daily (~80). I worked alongside another SM from America where we implemented changes and fixes to the server daily, worked alongside and with the development team, and ensured that everyone had the best experience possible. During times where I was unable to join the server, we had web access via Pterodactyl.io so I could still make essential changes, access the console and ensure everything was running smoothly. 2018 - Outer Haven - OH CWRP - Trial Mod-Senior Admin - I have grouped these together as they were very similar in what was expected. Essentially during these ranks I dealt with the brunt of staff duties. Being tickets, complaints, issues, etc. It is here where I first began my journey through exploring and developing my knowledge of staffing, systems and all the essentials still needed today to effectively carry out staff duties. Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: Yes absolutely. Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: If this occurred I would begin following the player in administrate all while having the ability to make clips. While I am doing this, I would check battle logs of the player (Unsure if you guys use blogs but whatever logs system is in place) to confirm if they killed anyone. If it turns out they did I would then confirm that it was not an EC or occurred during a SIM. If not then I would bring the player to the sit room / a private area, inform them that they are breaking the rules, and hand out one warning for RDM. If they appear new or unsure specifically I would link them to the rules on the forums and ask if they need more clarification. This is in an Ideal Scenario and intends not not interrupt RP as much as possible, however, if they continue killing more clones while I am in the process of checking logs, I will physgun them away immediately and follow the same process above. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: A cadet asking to be trained does not warrant a ticket. However if they have been waiting upwards of 10 minutes then I would inform battalion so they may assign someone to train. If no battalion is available, I would see if anyone volunteers. If not, I would bring an NCO that is not currently in a RP Scenario and have them train the cadet. 3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: While it is ARDM, this can be dealt with entirely as an In-Character issue. Especially if it was an accident. However if this seems repeated multiple times, I would bring them to a sit room and find out the issue. If they insist it is a technical issue I will help them fix it if possible and return them. Should it happen any further times after that then I would begin warning them. 4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: This is entirely an In-RP scenario and not something staff should intervene on. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: I would explain to them that the server rules are not definite. They are simply a brief overview of the essentials that must be followed. If the user is new to CWRP I would give them a verbal warning however if it is repeated, or the user appears to be purposefully looking for loopholes, I would give them a warn for FailRP 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I would explain to them that a staff members word is final. I would also send them a link to the forums and ask them to, if they disagree with my actions, to make a post in the correct section. I would also let them know to use !warns to view all information regarding my actions and my information. Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): Let me just preface by saying, yes, I am aware that I do not meet the minimum in-game time before applying, however, just four days ago marked one month since I first joined. During that time I have already got one week of playtime, in one month I have spent a quarter of a month on this server. I may not have the playtime, but I hope it is obvious that I am still dedicating a lot of my own time, and effort into really moving forward with this server. As for experience, I have over 4 (Coming up on 5) years worth of moderation, administration and community work with servers in the past. I do not wish to put any disrespect on another applicant by saying I deserve a role more than they do, so instead I will reword this question into "What makes me stand out against other applicants" Whenever I join a Garry's Mod server I always figure out my intentions. When I joined this one, I saw an opportunity where I could make a difference, and I believe that this is my chance to do it. My strongest assets as a person would be my organisation. Recently, and in the short past, I have held 'CEO' positions and Management in eSports Organisations that travel around the world in order to provide opportunities to their players. I have also held a Community Manager position for an Indie Game Company that made One Step From Eden (@OneStepFromEden on twitter shameless plug). Here I learn many transferrable skills and the professionalism of working under a chain of command. I learnt many important skills and was able to develop qualities to push the through a wide range of careers. I hope that I have been able to convince you all to look past me not meeting a requirement, and I hope that you will consider me for staff! (For references pm me on discord: Reinaeiry#8852)
