    I started playing about two years ago but only got into the server in May of last year, I have also taken a few breaks when I felt burnt out.

    I use the forums nearly daily but don’t use Teamspeak as much, I only tend to use it to attend meetings and during combat events.

    My last ban dates back to a year ago, while my most recent warns were mostly disputed situations.

    State the role of staff on the server:

    The role of staff is to enforce the rules of the server to make sure roleplay on the server is enjoyable, as well as assist any players on the server with questions they may have.

     

    Give some historical context about the time the server is set in (75 words+):

    The server is set in 1943 the year which started the downfall of the Third Reich, with initial victories over the allies and the Soviet Union in the earlier years of the war, their foothold slowly was lost, with counter attacks by the allies in the Northern African campaign followed by the Soviet Union also regaining its lost territory. Following the multiple defeats by the Third Reich they were forced to retreat giving control of Northern Africa to the allies and the already captured Soviet land back to its respective owner, with Tunis being lost, the Italian king, Victor Emmanuel III after being persuaded by other members of the Italian government decided the war for Italy was lost and decided to arrest the Italian Dictator, Benito Mussolini. Following the fall of Tunis, Sicily was subsequently invaded and fell under the control of the allies, allowing for an invasion on the Italian Peninsula, and after some days of fighting attempting to defend against the invasion, Italy surrendered on the 8th of September, 1943 following the Armistice of Cassibile the mainland of Italy was invaded a few days after the Italian surrender leaving the Third Reich to defend it all by themselves, following the crippling defeats on all fronts the Reich had previously held, bombings became more frequent and more devastating destroying a major part of the Reich’s infrastructure.

    Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

    1) You are told by a player in admin chat that another player is randomly killing people:

    I would start off by teleporting to the person which had reported the offender and, if he was not engaged in active roleplay I would bring him to an OOC roof and ask for more details on the situation, once I have gotten the details I needed, I would check the logs to conclude if what I had been told was true, after this I would bring the offender to the roof and ask for his side of the story, if I deemed the situation worthy of a warn I would return the person who had reported him and follow the punishment list.

     

    2) You are asked by a player about how to become a Third Reich official:

    Firstly, I would bring him to an out of character area as to not disturb any active roleplay and check what OOC rank he holds, assuming he was a user I would explain that due to him not having a VIP rank that he is unable to access certain branches on the server but that there are still plenty of choices regardless of him being VIP or not, I would also tell him about the job limitations with primary and secondary jobs as well as basic conduct and how to behave properly whilst on the job.

     

    To begin, I would explain the Ersatzheer which is the reserve army of Berlin stationed within the Hermann-Goering-Kaserne, which I would also show him to clear up any doubts. Firstly I would explain Panzergrenadier “Großdeutschland”, Kompanie “Bruno”, with it being the main infantry branch of the Ersatzheer, performing infantry trainings as well as patrols regularly, following this I would explain the armored part of the Ersatzheer, the Panzer-Abteilung “Großdeutschland”, Kompanie “Caesar” explaining how their duties are similar to those of Kompanie “Bruno”, with the main difference being a bigger hunch towards ceremonial guarding and access to various tanks, I would go on to also shortly describe the Feldgendarmerie-Trupp “Großdeutschland”, stating that it is the military police of the Ersatzheer being responsible for security threats to the Hermann-Goering-Kaserne as well as disciplining and inspecting members of the Ersatzheer, I would top it off by explaining the secondary kompanie, the Logistikstruppe and how they are the main suppliers of the Reich giving out certain supplies upon request as well as the Strafbataillon explaining it very briefly.

     

    Secondly, I would explain the Schutzstaffel which is present in Berlin in the Reichsministerium des innern and the Polizeipräsidium, showing him where the buildings are located, I would explain firstly the non-VIP variant of the Schutzstaffel, the Berliner Ordnungspolizei and how they are the general policing outfit of Berlin performing day-to-day police duties, I would also follow up by explaining the 1.SS Wach-Bataillon Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler, which consists of mainly ceremonial duties such as guarding Reich buildings or high ranking personnel but also Waffen-SS duties when such are needed, to wrap up the explanation I would very briefly explain the RSHA, stating how the Gestapo works undercover among the general populous of Berlin to combat crime and that the Inland-Sicherheitsdienst mainly deals with major code of conduct breaches and threats to Reich Security.

     

    I would then move on to explaining the NSDAP and its various branches, I would state how they are secondary jobs and that they operate on a specific structure with the Reichsarbeitsdienst being the paramilitary branch of the NSDAP focusing on the production of crops as well as guarding the NSDAP, following this I would shortly explain to him the different branches the NSDAP has, but putting more detail into the Gaupropagandamt seeing as it is the most likely one he could join.

     

    Finally, I would explain some other roles such as the DRK and the FeSchuPo as well as other criminal custom groups.

     

    3) You catch somebody not performing RP and that are messing around:

    If I noticed that a player was not conducting themselves properly in roleplay I would approach him and verbally warn him to start roleplaying appropriately if he started roleplaying properly I would leave it at that and carry on with my staff duties, in the case that he continued to not roleplay accordingly I would bring him to an OOC roof where I would issue a NITRP warn and ban in correlation to his playtime.

     

    4) Somebody acquires a rank but is not willing to RP with it properly:

    I would first acquire proof that he is not RPing properly and if from a staff standpoint he was disturbing roleplay and overall not being serious, I would issue the correct punishment according to the punishment list, if it was an IC issue I would inform the relevant branch leaders about his performance.

     

    5) A player is prop spamming:

    Upon detecting that a player is prop spamming, I would swiftly kick him and clear all disconnected players’ props to prevent any further lag and issue the appropriate warning and permanent ban.

     

    Answer the following questions in detail:

    1) Explain the difference between Tier I rule-breaking and punishments and Tier II rule-breaking and punishments:

    Tier I - rule-breaking & punishments: Tier I warns are issued in the case of misunderstandings, honest mistakes or non-veteran players, these warns are sometimes accompanied by a kick.

     

    Tier II - rule-breakings & punishments: Tier II warns are issued in the case of repeated offenses, intentional rule breaks or in the case of veteran players, tier II warns are always accompanied by a ban.

     

    2) Explain the difference between IC and OOC. Also define Meta Gaming:

    In character relates to your character’s in-game knowledge, appropriate to the time period and past experiences, without association to the future or out of game experiences, anything said or done while in character can lead to consequences in regard to your character.

     

    Out of character relates to both your character’s in-game knowledge and your out of game knowledge, your actions out of character may only reflect on your out of character scenario unless given strict permission by members of the server management.

     

    Meta Gaming is using information you acquired in an OOC manner and using it IC in order to gain an advantage from an RP standpoint.

     

    3) Explain the difference between Serious RP and Semi-Serious RP:

    Serious RP is related to the idea that there is less leniency and a larger focus on roleplay, with everything you say through voice chat being counted as IC.

     

    Semi-Serious RP is linked to the idea that, during RP situations you should be serious but, you may speak OOC outside of an RP situation such as casual conversation.

     

    4) Define PassiveRP and explain it's role and importance in a serious RP gamemode:

    Passive RP is roleplaying without the intent to cause any chaos or combat, usually present when building up your character’s decisions and backstory, any roleplay action that is exterior to the usual SWEPs and when using /me’s is considered PassiveRP this is, when done in a serious manner.

     

    5) Define the term of Combat Baiting:

    Combat Baiting is the act of performing an act in order to provoke combat and, subsequently kill the person who has been baited into combat. An example of this is randomly having a weapon out with the sole purpose of causing combat with Reich officials.

    I personally do not believe I stand out above other applicants, but I still believe that I am fit for the staff team, I have played on the server for a while as well as been a member of the community for about 6 years.

     

    My overall dedication to all my IC roles has always been present, everytime that I have been tasked with something I pulled through and ended up completing most of them to the best of my ability, I believe this shows one of my better traits with it being my persistence and dedication.

     

    I would also say I am quite patient and calm, which is a good trait to have as a member of staff in my opinion. I am able to take the time out of my day to listen or better the roleplay experience of someone which is new and has just joined the server and is filled with doubts.

     

    Along with this, I also strive to better myself and push myself to the next step in order to always improve and I am more than willing to listen and follow others’ advice if that means that my results in the end will be better.

     

    To conclude, I believe I am mature enough to be a member of staff, and in the end, although I can be playful and less serious at times in the end, I am more than capable of being serious when the need arises.

    A replacement for the SJBO has been in my opinion necessary for a good while, nonetheless Barring also seems like a more than capable leader to make this work and I am sure this would work amazingly although I believe some abilities should be revamped a little before it is fully implemented

    I'm applying for Staff because there is never any active Staff on the server at the moment and I enjoy helping people. I resigned from my former NSDAP positions due to work restraints, not once was I demoted from my position in the SA or the Führungskräfte I simply resigned, I've also been told by multiple people that the whole situation with me being arrested was pointless and was just an excuse to get rid of me (you were included in that).

    I also have never "fully chatted shit" about any SMT? I've not had any problem with any of the SMT as far back as I can remember. In fact I worked closely with 2/3 of the current SMT so I really have no clue what you are on about.

     

    Either way, I know how to Rp, I know how to Staff.

    If he is being reported, take him instantly, don't leave it to the chance where you may forget or they might do it again. If a rule is broken. Take action.

    So originally they just gets a warn for "No intention to roleplay", First of all, they would get a minimum of a week ban, not a warn.

    When you say "Very serious" If you mean a very serious rule break you would go for an NITRP ban, but if it was a minor mistake, you would give IC consequences. 

    "I delete the props that were spawned and proceed with the consequences as required."

    I thought you were familiar with the rules and punishments? I'll give you a hint, you permanently ban them, you also don't have any confidence in your answer "consequences required", if you had actually read them, you would know it was a permanent ban

     

    To conclude: You're fairly active on the server, with some decent IC ranks, you have been friendly, approachable and kind with the interactions I've had with you. You are also very dedicated, motivated and determined to become staff as this is your second application. Your application has a few wrong and un-detailed answers which will lead me to be unable to +1 this application. I would have more than likely recommended you for staff if you asked me (and you made a better application).
