  1. -1/Neutral Pros: I have said in the past this particular applicant is a "regiment hopper", but they have clearly found there feet in 104th reaching the rank of Lieutenant Colonel Points of consideration: Not the longest playtime I've seen Conns: Has not referenced his 'warns' or lack there off, nor has he provided a screenshot There is some detail to be desired in the "Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion" question, only showing a very basic understanding of Battalion The answer to the question "Why should we pick you for Battalion" I don't believe it was answered very professionally, and the lot of what I read was simply 'I can prove to be good enough for Battalion' suggesting you are not yet a good enough player Despite me having experience with you in the past and having presented yourself as a friendly person I am going to have to '-1' this for the reasons I have listed above; I simply do not believe a lot of effort was put into the application, this being said I would like to see you in Battalion if you write a better application in the future. I will say that I will be putting a '/neutral' on this for my personal interactions with you alone. Despite everything I wish you the best of luck!
  2. +1 Pros Strong play time Very friendly from the encounters I've had Clear knowledge for Battalion inner workings Well written application Points of consideration Warning received for RDM Really hope to see you in Battalion very soon, Good Luck!
  3. +1/Neutral Pros: You have clearly read the Battalion Handbook Recognised and tried to deter the potential bias of friends Points of Consideration: Not the highest playtime we've seen for an aspiring Battalion Member Conns: Previously demoted for inactivity; inactivity being a quality we do not need in Battalion I'm curious to see based on your application how you would perform in Battalion; Good Luck
  4. -1 Conns: The sheer amount of warns you have as a legacy & two of which that are active In the "Describe responsibilities of Battalion" question you've missed primary parts of what makes up Battalion duties "My attitude in-game is mostly relaxed and jokester-like" this is not what Battalion need or wants The claims you have made about your attitude are yet to be seen Pros: Solid play-time Unfortunately I would say you have some more growing up to do before joining Battalion, I would suggest another month or so, acting in the way you cliam to be acting in this application.
  5. Disclaimer: I am in a relationship with this applicant due to this my response cannot and will not be unbiased; please do not regard anything I say as positive or negative +1 Pros: No Warnings Kicks or Bans Very well written essay piece Clearly knowledgeable about Battalion Points of Consideration: Long time Female Conns: Previously striked with in her current Requirement Of course I'm hoping you join Battalion, all other opinions of mine are known to you; Good Luck
  6. -1 Conns: Incredibly immature person Failed the most important part of your Staff Officer Training (Event Leading) Disrespectful towards Senior Rank's & Players You do not meet the requirements despite having completed your Staff Officer Trainings (this is the second time you have applied without having met the requirements) You have already been blacklisted from multiple regiments For the question "Why should we pick you for Battalion?" you inserted too much filler in order to make the word count high Pros: Impressive Play Time You clearly cannot follow instruction as you have disregarded the requirements to apply on two separate occasions and have not changed anything since the last time you applied; unlike in your previous application I do not suggest you apply again; until your attitude changes and you are far more mature
  7. +1 Pros: Impressive Playtime Extremely well answered questions Age could well indicate maturity Points of Consideration: If your work schedule changed and then changed back in such a short period of time who's to say that won't happen again Good luck, I hope to see you battalions soon!
  8. -1 Conns: You stated "Battalion will NOT be in the frontlines during an attack or battle" in the 'Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion' question, this is not the case for Battalion members whom are not leading & supervise a frontline or flanking Regiment; please make sure you read the Handbook You stated "make sure they are protecting you so you don't die." in reference to a Battalion members supervised regiment during battle, this is not at all the case your supervised regiment is not to be used as your personal human shield You've made some grammar and punctuation mistakes There's no evidence of your climbed activity Points of Consideration: If you are not currently an SO+ it's important you specify if this requirement has been overturned for you or if you have been an SO+ in the past 2 mouths Pros: Impressive Play time I would recommend you try again in two weeks.
  9. +1 Pros: Strong Play Time Reached a High Rank in the past Has always been a pleasant person speak to & very friendly to new players Willingly abandoning an event to train Cadets Points of Consideration: You forgot to include 'IRP Event Planer' in the 'OOC Section', I'm sure this is due to the server not currently being active If you are not currently an SO+ it's important you specify if this requirement has been overturned for you or if you have been an SO+ in the past 2 mouths Conns: I'd like to see you going more in depth when speaking about the responsibilities during events Your answer to the "Why should we pick you for Battalion" question was was answered poorley & came across as childish Good luck & I hope to see you in Battalion soon!
  10. +1 Pros: Incredible event planner Clearly aware of Battalion rules and culture Sloid application Play Time is 'Stupid'! Points of Consideration: N/A Conns: Moto is not "Lead your men to death. Honour is better than glory." Hope to see you in Battalion soon!
  11. +1 Pros: Incredible amount of Play Time Previous Lieutenant-colonel in Battalion Clearly understand all Responsibilities Might even be eligible to go strate to WO Points of Consideration: RDM warn, I can only imagine with that sort of playtime it was a long time ago Conns: Hassen't been SO+ in a while Got striked in Battalion Stole this format from Cheese!
  12. First Staff Application | Not a Previous Staff Member In-game name(s): Battalion 2nd LT Wright Steam Name: Doctor_Chad Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:104180085 Age when applying: 20 Years Old What country do you currently reside in? What is your time-zone: United Kingdom | British Summer Time Can you speak and type English fluently: I am perfectly able to type and speak English. Current total game-time on the server (type !time): 4w 18h 30m IC Rank(s) and OOC Donation Rank(s) on CWRP: Battalion 2nd Lieutenant | Platinum VIP Do you own a working microphone? When you communicate do you type or speak: I do own a working microphone (Razer Kraken Ultimate), I usually prefer to speak in game, on Team Spaek & on Discord. When did you join the server? Have you taken any breaks since: I joined the server originally in 2020 and due to a want to join the Armed Forces I took a two-year long hiatus, joining back on the 22nd of July. How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, CWRP Discord and our forums: I use both Team Speak 3 & Discord on a daily basis, but only check the forums on a by daily basis. State all your previous OOC punishments (bans, kicks etc.) and a screenshot of your list of warns: https://imgur.com/a/r21svjd (see this link for proof of both Warns and Time on the server) Both warn's issued to me by staff members were given in 2020 during my first time on the server. My first warn, due to the period of time that has passed since 2020 I'm unable to say what the reason for it was other than simply stating RDM. My second warning was given to me after stealing a speaker as a scavenger, I can only justify this by saying I was inexperienced at the time; but since then, I have committed no further offences. State the role of staff on the server: The most basic role of staff members on the server is to assist the player base, deal with those who are not there to play & fix any server side issues that may occur. Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them?: I'm very familiar with the server rules and have read them in preparation of this application. List of all previous server staff experience: Previous staff experience has been exclusive to that of dark RP servers, and father imitations of it, such as; Purge RP. Specific staff experience has been for... One failed Dark RP Garry's Mod Server The now decommissioned Werewolf Gaming | Purge RP Garry's Mod Server Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: I completely understand and appreciate this fact. Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: I would first check the administration logs to ensure the player was telling the truth, I would then immediately bring the offending player in question into a Staff sit, I would then proceed to question said player most likely resulting in a warn being given to them. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: I would first consult Battalion (if I was to be a staff on duty), if I was to be in 'role' I would simply order an NCO or the lowest ranking person above the rank of Sergeant Major to report to the cadet room/area for the cadet's training, If in the event that nobody was to respond then I would teleport a suitable player to my position instructing them to train the cadet after ensuring they werent in any important RP situation. 3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: If this was to be there first offence, I would simply leave them with a verbal warning but if not I would have to look into potentially warning them for ARDM, in reality most likely result off this would be a simple 'CG' arrest and some time spent in brig. 4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: I would remind them that some individuals prefer new players to respect and adhere to all of the rules taught to them during Cadet training, anything outside of that would be a complete overreaction. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: I would remind the player that it is an over expectation to think the server's Staff team would put every instance of FailRP in the Server Rule Book and that what they did is still considered failRP, this would lead to a simple verbal warning if this was their first offence; if not a warning may have to be issued. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I would simply inform them that my desicion is final and that arguing will not get them anywhere, if they were insistent I may consult a secondary staff member as to confirm my desicion, finally I would refer them to the staff abuse and warn appeal section of the forums if they felt it necessary. Essay Peace: Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I believe I would be a better fit for the position of staff as opposed to the other candidates because my maturity can only be described as far above the average for the server due to my age and occupation. My activity of which has been closely monitored by battalion command is mostly considered to be excellent by their own standards. Performance of which can also be seen through my battalion position having already earnt multiple commendations and being voted battalion of the week on 3 separate occasions. Choosing this server after leaving it for such a long period of time, shows an extreme amount of loyalty as I never considered joining an alternate server. The activity and performance previously mentioned has led to me building a above average rapport with the players of other regiments. This can be seen by the numerous positive battalion feedback reports I have received whilst I have only been with battalion for a short period of time. This feedback has come from a whole manner of sources ranging from ETs up to GM hierarchy and The server manager of a different werewolf gaming server which also shows that there is no bias or discrimination based on rank, this is a good attribute top have for a staff member as I would need to be impartial and completely fair when dealing with difficult situations; furthermore I would go as far as to say that I would not consider anyone to be above server rules, this has been demonstrated through the arresting of my partner, Amelia. In conclusion, if I were to be chosen as a member of staff my dedication to the role would be taken to the same level of professionalism as my IC role in battalion.
  13. +1 + Very well Written + High-performing member of CE + Good character (from what I've seen) = Was warned multiple times for concerning behaviour (Racism, ARMD & Homophobia)
  14. Out of Character Section (OOC) - Steam Name: Doctor_Chad Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:104180085 Current OOC rank on the server and / or in other communities (e.g. Plat VIP, Mod, Event Planner): Platinum VIP Age (Must be 14+): 20 What is your playtime (2+ Weeks Minimum): 3w 1d 37m at the time of writing. Do you have a microphone, is it good quality: I do have a microphone and believe it to be above average quality; I am using a Razer Kraken Ultimate in built microphone. Have you read through the Battalion Handbook and extending documents from it: I have done as such not only prior to posting this application, but back in 2020 as well when posting my original application. Do you meet the requirements: I have read and understood the requirements, after thus I can confirm I meet them. State all previous OOC punishment (Kicks, Bans and Warnings | Including Discord / Team Speak) and provide a screenshot of your list of warnings (Go in-game and do !warns) then provide a screenshot: My first warn received on the server was it 2020, due to the period that has passed since then I've unable to say what the reason for it was. My second warning was given to me after stealing a speaker as a scavenger, I can only justify this by saying I was inexperienced at the time; but since then, I have committed no further offences. In Character Section (IC) - In-Game name (Regiment, Rank then your name): CE PFT LTCOL Wright Highest rank obtained (Including previous): Battalion Officer Cadet Have you ever been demoted or striked in any regiment (If so, explain the reason): I have never been demoted nor striked in my requirement; including my previous time in Battalion. What is the Battalion Motto: “Lead your men to death. Honour is better than surrender” is the Battalion Motto. Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion (100 words minimum): The roles of responsibility of any Battalion member are to ensure that the base is running smoothly, and all regiments are doing their jobs, to command and lead but more importantly to be seen to lower ranks as a figure of authority even a position to potentially aspire to; out of character this will encourage people who are wishing to play CWRP to stay on the server and alternatively deter people who are not. All Battalion members, when in character are to conduct themselves with the upmost dignitary and professionalism and lastly to lead all clones into battle for the betterment of the republic. Why should we pick you for Battalion (200 words minimum): Firstly, I have been selected previously to join Battalion, although my mistakes of the past should be noted previously a Battalion Officer Cadet I was seen by the Rear Admiral and Head of Battalion at the time to have potential and thus was given a second chance to prove myself; due to my real life want to join the Armed Forces I decided to thank them for the opportunity but to resign there for completing the act they originally wanted to conduct. Secondly, I am a very active player, and this level of activity will only improve as I complete my phase 2 training for my job role within the Army’s RLC, the longer I spend in the military the less of a lifestyle it is and the more of a job it becomes. Additionally, my position within the Armed Forces has given me a greater amount of discipline which has elevated my behaviour from my previous days as Battalion Officer Cadet. And finally, my experience on the server from two different points in its time has giving me, arguably the greatest level of understanding of the server it is possible for me to have as a Lieutenant Colonel; but in conclusion I should be given the opportunity to prove myself once again as I've displayed outstanding level of loyalty towards my current regiment and the server. Do you understand that Battalion is a very respectable and disciplined rank?: I understand this far more now having joined the Army then I have done before in 2020. What do Battalion do during combat, when they are not leading (In detail): Depending on what equipment they have in use a Battalion member should keep to the mid/front lines of the combat, also if the supervisor of any given regiment is not leading, they should stick with their Regiment, but not undermining the authority of that regiment’s leader. What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet must complete before getting promoted?: You must lead a planetary with a voice amplifier, complete a debrief to the correct standard and conduct an open simulation for all regiments willing to take part. What rank can Battalion Brigadier Promote and Demote up too: The rank of Captain and below. Anything else: N/A
  15. - Out of Character Section - Steam Name: Doctor_Chad Steam ID: STEAM_1:1:104180085 Current rank on the server: CE Major & Platinum VIP User Age: 18 What is your playtime: (1 Week - Minimum) 2 Week’s & 2 Days'+ (Edited since Originally posted) Do you have a microphone, is it good quality: Yes I do, and I believe the quality is above average for that of Garry's Mod. Have you read and looked through the Battalion Handbook: Yes, I've made sure to read through each part thoroughly, even parts that did not apply to me. I did this to make sure that the Battalion command is something I truly aspire for. Do you meet the requirements: Yes, I have read all the requirements and made sure I meet them. A quick summary about you: (70 Words - Minimum) I would like to start by saying I have always been and will always be an aspiring actor and comedian, this being said despite my crude attempts at comedy I never let that distract me from my work. If I need to be serious, I am more than capable of being so. It also may be pertinent to mention that I am currently in the application process of joining the Royal Air Force; this, of course, has been placed on pause due to the current pandemic. For anyone that is at all curious, I am going in as a driver for the RAF, due to the fact I've always had a passion and high respect for the military. - In Character Section - In-Game name: (Regiment, Rank and then your name) CE PFT MJR CWright Highest rank obtained: Major What current rank do you have: CE Major What is your current regiment: The Combat Engineers Why should we pick you for Battalion: (200 Words - Minimum) I am an incredibly hard-working individual, and have already displayed this via getting to this rank of Major in what I understand to be a relatively QuickTime. I respect the wants and desires of people while also making my opinions heard, I believe this to be quite an upstanding quality for that of Battalion. I aspire to only improve myself and be promoted as I do. Due to my current application position for that of the RAF, I believe I have already shown myself to be interested in serving what I'm a part of, in the RAF’s case, the country, and in this case; the server. I've been playing on the server for 2 3 months (Months edited), and already have days over a week, I would like to think this fact proves my activity and the activity I would lend to Battalion. I have proven within my regiment, without being in a hierarchy that I'm capable of leading a squadron, and this is a skill that can be honed to lead even more. Also when reaching the rank of a second lieutenant within my regiment, I hosted more than an adequate amount of trainings. In conclusion, I believe I should be given a chance on this server, to prove myself as more capable than anyone's initial opinion. Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion: (100 Words - Minimum) It is of paramount importance that the Battalion always upkeeps the professional exterior, as to display the strongest possible example for new players and even long-lasting ones. Any Battalion on the base also has the responsibility to accept or deny the majority of requests from anyone on or off base, including that of Jedi; furthermore, their regiment must be trained to a sufficient level, carrying out these training can also be one of the Battalion’s responsibilities. The battalion must make sure all cadets are trained or being trained, subsequently if this is not the case a Battalion, should offer NCO’s the opportunity to go, off their own back; and if not they must issue somebody with an order to do so. A secondary role of Battalion should be to make sure all regiments on base are doing something productive, and not counterintuitive to the Republics wants and needs. But of course, the primary responsibility is to lead the base in any sort of attack or planetary mission that the Platoon gets sent on; this will normally be done using a voice amplifier. Have you ever been demoted, banned or kicked: (If so, explain why) Apart from simply being kicked out of a necessity for player slots, no to all of the above. Do you understand that Battalion is a very respectable and disciplined rank: I completely understand this and would like to emphasize that I would not make this application not knowing the extent of discipline and serious role-play that happens within the Battalion. What does Battalion do during Combat, when they are not leading? (IN DETAIL) When a Battalion member is not leading they should stick with their assigned regiments, they should try and fight to the urge to order the members of that Regiment, as normally the hierarchy or CO+’s have that covered. Although they can make small orders too Clones who don't have specific orders to follow. What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted as part of his mentoring session? The first is to do a training of some sort with faces, formations and questions. The second is to successfully lead an Event. And the third is to call and carry out a Debrief. What is the job of the Co-Leader during events? The Co-Leader is, naturally, second in command they must assist whoever is leading in their tasks and decisions, it is also there responsibility to accept and/or deny minor requests. They must assume command if the Leader mysteriously disappears (crashes, has to inexplicably go AFK, etc.). Anything else: I can assure anyone reading this that I will be great for this role, and if given it will not squander the opportunity, I only wish to prove that I am more capable than most people think.
