  1. -1 Obvious reasons.. I think you would’ve had atleast a chance to get in. Might not have been a big one, but it was there. You just shot yourself in the foot with your statements. To me this just proves that your whole app is a lie. I don’t even think you know what professionalism is, even if you know it doesn’t fit you. Based off what you said about your timezones and that you’re mostly on when there’s 30-45 players on, I would probably have given it a -1 anyways, since it would just be a waste of staff slots ig.. Decent app i think.. edit: 1- to -1
  2. I understand if someone from TSH has actually reached out to you and given you info about The Serpents Hand, but otherwise with no knowledge you shouldn't be able to make a job. I also just killed someone from ACB and now he's back as an ACB employee with no knowledge about the anomalous as far as I know.
  3. To start of with, I don't like the idea, of just making a new RP Group by doing /setjob, I believe you should put it in the Job Suggestion section to await replies from the playerbase, whether or not it's a useful job to implement onto the server. I believe the playerbase should be the real judge in which RP Groups should be accepted and which should be rejected, I don't think it's fair to just decide to make a new RP Group, by just doing /setjob, since It's kinda lame that you can't read about the goals of the group as there's no Job Suggestion and you can't apply for the group, you don't even get to choose models or equipment and tell the playerbase the jobs purpose. That's atleast just my perspective about it, but I do wanna know what others think about the /setjob RP Groups or maybe even change my perspective. I didn't make this thread to hate on anyone or their groups.
  4. what where you thinking when posting this lmao
  5. +1 I saw when he got banned and heard their conversation, he sounded cool about it and didn't act like an asshat. I believe in second chances. I hope you read the rules again.
  6. -1 Advertising. not alot of meat on the app itself.
  7. +1 Application is good. Experience with staffing. I had a small interaction with lorex yesterday and he was friendly, sounded happy and talkative, I haven't seen his RP, but I don't believe it's bad.
  8. 1- My head can't contain the way the application is set up. I have a hard time understand the application due to your english. From what I can see, you speak about random things and jump from subject to subject. Overall the application in my opinion is a mess.
  9. -1 -Your application needs some more commas and periods. An application with commas and periods makes the application much more pleasant to read, and yeah I agree that it needs a bit more coloring or maybe bold the questions. I do understand if commas and periods are hard to place, but if you can, then you should definitely do it. Overall your application looks decent. -I haven't seen you on the server, and I agree with Melo and Toasti, that it probably would be a good idea to get yourself more known on the server.
  10. Dear L.S.: My official name [RP name] is...: Brook Lightning. My Online Identities [Steam Name & Discord Name] are...: Opio -God-, Opio -God-#3424. My Library Card Signature [SteamID] is...: STEAM_0:1:50756151 The time I have spent inside of the Library [Playtime] is...: 2w and 13h at the time of writing. -------------------- My intentions when I joined The Serpent's Hand was...: The anomalous was forced into containment and supression. I joined because I wanted to make a difference, the anomalous is precious and beautiful. It's a part of our world or universe as one would say, like it or not. I embrace the anomalous and have always done, the anomalous hasn't done anything but been abused by the Jailors, Bookburners and the Madmen. the human race has been the cause to several extinctions in the world, but yet we continue to act like we decide who lives and who doesn't. I was fed up with it, I wanted to know more about the anomalous, to learn how to embrace it in the best possible way and I found The Serpent's Hand and read a lot. The anomalous doesn't deserve to be used and destroyed, just cause the human race has decided to. That's why I joined. I know a lot about The Serpent's Hand such as...: The Serpent's Hand is a movement, with a common belief that the anomalous world should not be kept a secret, human or not. There's not any requirements like that, to join The Serpent's Hand, the only thing you have to do is consider yourself a member. The Serpent's Hand (TSH for short) doesn't have an official leader as there's many groups within the movement itself, but L.S is a leader of one of the known Factions that interacts with the Jailors. The members within TSH is not all just humans, but also anomalous people or entities. TSH has bad terms with the Madmen and hostile towards the Bookburners and Jailors, and The Hand is known to have performed numerous successful raids on the Jailors. TSH is known to be active in fact a base of operations inside the Wanderers' Library - a building that exists in an extra-universal space, it's infinitely long (or close to), inside there's shelves every where, just like a library, but these shells are really tall and if you watched the library from above there it would be covered in shelves, filled with books, almost every book that exists and even those that hasn't even been written yet. There's actually a few rules to the library, I'll list them below. 1. Return your books on time. 2. Don't damage books. 3. Don't steal books. 4. Don't damage Library property. 5. Don't harm those within the library. If you don't follow the rules you could end up as a librarian, a librarian is a worker inside the Wanderers' Library, a librarians job is to maintenance the library on a daily basis. There's also another worker called the Archivists, their job is to find books and hand out Library Cards which you need if you want to loan books, the card also gives you some magic abilities. another job within the Wanderers' Library is Pages. Pages are really good at climbing so they can put books back in place easier. Now, to get into the Wanderers' Library, you need to find a Way, these Ways are doors into the Library. The Ways require you to "Knock" which you achieve by doing certain things to unlock it, maybe if you spat in a cup or did a weird dance, you could walk through a normal doorway into the Library. The Library seems to predict who has ill intentions and who hasn't, so the Jailors can't enter, or if they do the Way will just open up and once they walk through, they might end up as a librarian or kill you by opening up somewhere dangerous, so TSH is really safe in the Library. The Library has one more worker, that also serves as a defence and the workers are called the Docents, they guide patrons around and help them find books and they also look for people that break the rules, they serve as first line of defence, in case someone should try to do attack the library. I would describe myself as...: I'm a silent guy, I don't really say that much, if I'm not spoken to, but I can talk a lot sometimes out of pure happiness. I don't use violence, only if I'm provoked or violence is the way to complete my objective. I tend to investigate a lot and just be the silent guy in the room. I'm good at confusing people. My story about finding the Library & The Serpent's Hand starts with... Well, I woke up and checked my phone, I had gotten a text from a friend of mine, it said "wanna hangout??" I replied "yeah ofc" and he told me to go to the supermarket in our town. I put on some clothes, eat breakfast and took some pills for my headache, but I had no pills so I had to quickly text my buddy that I was gonna be 20 minutes late, but he just replied with "kk", so I walked to the pharmacy to get some pills for my headache. I was close to the pharmacy, when I heard the voice of a female "excuse me, sir?", I looked back and asked if she was talking to me and she said yes and explained that she was a member of a group she called The Serpent's Hand and then she started explaining that an anomalous world existed, I turned around and walked away, I had been walking for about 3 seconds when I turned to see if she was still standing there, she was gone like she had never been there, now the street is very wide and open and there weren't that many people around in the area, but anyways I bought my pills walked home, took some of the pills, then met up with my friend, I told him the story and he thought it was weird, cause a lady had asked him told him the same thing a couple days ago, so we seeked went out to look for her at the pharmacy, but she was nowhere to be found, we looked around town, but she wasn't anywhere to be found, so we returned to the supermarket, bought an energy drink each and walked to the bonfire house in a forest and drinked it while talking about life, when I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up, there the lady was, she explained that she had seen us looking for her. We explained that she had talked to us both about a weird world of anomalies and she explained that The Serpents Hand was seeking new members and she had seen us and asked us. She explained the basic stuff about the Jailors, the Madmen and the Bookburners and why The Serpent's Hand didn't like them. She showed us a Way in our town and how to use it, so we could enter the Library. Ever since that experience I've been reading about the anomalous and it's world. PM me if you wanna tell me anything about my app. Opio -God-#3424 sidenote: I know my grammar is shit. Edit: Colour
  11. Steam Name: Opio -God- Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:50756151 In-Game Level & Rank: Level 50 Plat VIP. State what groups you are in(If you're in any): Playtime (2 days minimum, exceptions can be made): 2 weeks and 9 hours approximately. Warns (Only 20 Warns Minimum, Exceptions can be made): 0 warnings at the time of writing, tho I've had a few in the past, don't remember the reason. What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition: I have a decent amount of experience in SCP-RP and a lot of experience in RP in general. I have 2000 hours and most of them are RP. I'm experienced in combat and general military behaviour by playing MilitaryRP. I don't resolve to violence right away, only if necessary and required to complete the objective. I know how to teamwork, I'm trustworthy and I never operate alone. Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?: I find GOC very interesting, because they have a different perspective on SCPs (and generally the paranormal world), than some of the other GOIs and the foundation has. I've been playing foundation a lot and other GOIs aswell, but GOC just seems much more like the foundation, but on the surface and obviously with other goals, than the foundation. The military style like the foundation is also something I really like about GOC. I'd like to join GOC, cause I've never had such an experience before and I wanna experience their perspective of the world and how they handle the anomalous. GOC isn't one of those GOIs that sell anomalies or keep them, they rather study how to destroy the paranormal and then use that knowledge to destroy the paranormal, and that's the interesting part to me. Do you understand that if you break any GOC rules you will be Kicked: I do. Please explain the The Seventh Occult War: The Foundation and the Allied Occult Initiative (AOI), was in a war with the Obskuracorps during 2WW. The Foundation had captured Konrad Weiss, the commander of the Obskuracorps. The Foundation quickly learned that the Obskuracorps was looking to perform the Rite of Solomon which if performed correctly, you can choose who gets the thaumaturgic cababilities and who does not, aswell as "reassign" the abilities from someone to someone else, but the Foundation managed to stop the Obskuracorps from performing the Rite of Solomon. After the war the GOC was founded to destroy the anomalous. What are the Missions of Global Occult Coalition: The GOC has a list of 5 rules, that's there to protect humanity from the paranormal. The rules are called "The Fivefold Mission". I'll make a list containing all the rules and the meaning of the rules: Rule 1. Survival Explanation: Survival Is deemed more important than any of the rules listed below. GOC has to ensure the survival of the human race, from every anomalous threat Rule 2. Concealment Explanation: The existence of anomalous threats must be kept hidden, from the world to ensure that the world won't end up in chaos and massive human losses. Rule 3. Protect Explanation: The protection of civilians and operatives is a priority, but rule 3 shouldn't be enforced if it makes rule 1 and 2 impossible. Rule 4. Destruction Explanation: GOC is to destroy the anomalous, as it can be at danger for the survival of the human species. Rule 5. Education Explanation: The more GOC knows about the anomalous, the faster the anomalous can be destroyed. Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?: The GOC was founded due to the fact that after the Seventh Occult War, no one was interested in the Rite of Solomon being stolen and a new world war starting, just to stop someone from trying to take over the world, as the Rite of Solomon was a world changing event. GOC wasn't only founded just to protect the Rite of Solomon, but it was generally considered a good idea to found GOC, to act as a police role by destroying the paranormal threats. What is the difference between a KTE and a UTE: KTE stands for Known Threat Entity, which means that the entity classified as KTE is an entity that has been identified and enough is know about them, to destroy the entity. UTE stands for Unknown Threat Entity, which means that the entity classified as UTE is an entity that is not known enough about, to classify them as KTE. What does the PHYSICS Division specialize in?: The Physics Division specializes in investigation, observation capturing or neutralizing the paranormal. So PHYSICS division is split in two, one of them specializes in investigation and observation, this is called the Assessment Teams and then there are the teams that specializes in combat, this is called the Strike Teams. ___________________________________ IC Section "Mamba" Serial Number: 63151291/3161 – Real Name: Brook Lightning. Nationality: Danish. Gender: Male. Date of Birth: 6/10/1986 Biographical Information: I was born in Denmark, in a small town called Haderslev. I finished school and decided I wanted to tryout in the military, I mean I was fit, I eat healthy and I wanted to serve my country. First I was a private, obviously, but I slowly rose through the ranks and ended up being a captain, military was easy for me, so I decided to join the frogman corps, it was hard and hell-week was even more hard, but I passed and joined the frogs. I was deployed in Iraq, I was one of the best in the corps, and was good with guns and hands. I was shot a couple of times, but nothing too serious, so I continued in the war, we won a lot, but it wasn't all just success.. Iraq taught me the horrors of the world, a world only people who has experienced war, knows about. It's not pleasant. I lost many friends in war, some I had known for a couple of months and some I just knew the day before they died. I as called into the office one day, greeted by two men wearing UN uniforms. They told me they had some special work for me and I jumped the opportunity, since I couldn't stay in Iraq any longer, I couldn't watch my friends die anymore. So I said yes to the offer and the two UN soldiers told me about the paranormal world. I've been educated in the paranormal and I know how to handle the ones known. I'm in the PHYSICS now and am awaiting to get deployed. Career Service Vitae: The Royal Danish Army, Frogman Corps.
