Honour is better than surrender” Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion (100 words minimum): The roles and responsibilities of Battalion, include but are not limited too. Managing whichever regiment you supervise, giving them guidance and solutions to problems they may not be able to solve on their own, but maybe most importantly be their voice if they are being treated unfairly or whatever else might be troubling them. However a Battalion member should not only focus on their regiment, they should help and guide anyone who may need it. A Battalion member should also take charge of any situation that may arise outside of event’s, this includes small disagreements, infiltrations of the base rule breaks that CG can’t deal with alone, and any other day to day task. During event’s Battalion should lead, by forming a logical and effective plan, forward to victory, and then giving orders to specific regiments using their strengths to your advantage. Why should we pick you for Battalion (200 words minimum): I think you should pick me for Battalion, because I already have considerable experience seeing as I was formally a Captain in Battalion, which makes me an easy choice because i don’t need a lot of the training new guys would, and another bonus is that i would be able to help out with the formerly mentioned new guys. But also because of my outside experience, in the last few months while i have been away from the server i have been playing in a milsim unit, leading a Squad which is 15 people including myself in a very fast paced environment. But also because of my maturity ever since i was around 13 - 14 i have acted like an adult, and to be clear when i say adult i don’t mean an 18 year old, i mean a 35 - 40 year old person an adult. But other qualities of mine include that I'm quick to solutions, I have a fairly easy time figuring something out, doesn't matter if that may be a washing machine, or a blaster. So if i had to summarize a lot of what i have said, i would probably explain it as me being extremely flexible, and very much a point and shoot kinda guy meaning, that i'll do whatever im told to do and in most cases i'll do it fairly well. Do you understand that Battalion is a very respectable and disciplined rank? Yes i do Battalion has to hold themselves to the high standard that they are trying to enforce on everyone else, to set an example. What do Battalion do during combat, when they are not leading (In detail): During combat if a Battalion member is not leading or co leading they should find themselves somewhere in the mid to frontline, preferably assisting their regiment and passing along any orders that may not have been received, or that didn’t make sense, however a Battalion member should never take complete charge of a regiment that should be left to the CO’s, SO’s and hierarchy. What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted? 1. Host an open training | 2. Leading a base attack | 3. Leading a planetary and performing a debrief What rank can Battalion Brigadier Promote and Demote up too: They have the authority to promote and demote up until the rank of Captain. Anything else?: I don’t have much further aside from the fact that i hope you will give me a fair shot, but if my leave from the server has been to long or anything else is not up to standard i understand and will live with that fact.

+1 . Great overall app, a lot of detail as far as i can see. You did not miss any needed info from the Handbook. . A lot of good ranks. Can show that you don’t stick around but i think in this case that it’s good . On the older side = Mature hopefully . Bringing in quotes shows some knowledge which is good . 12 Warns is bad, really bad. I get they are old but yeah.

First of all it is leading your men efficiently and decisively. Taking care of any issues that may arise on base/ship in the correct way keeping it contained if needed. Battalion also have the important role of leading everyone during events like stated above this means leading effectively giving separate regiments separate orders. Using their skills to your advantage like asking 212th to set up tanks if there are enemy tanks or the likes. Or asking CE to control the airspace or asking 104th to flank so we can attack on two fronts. Or getting CG to guard lets say on anaxes AUX so we don’t get flanked or whatever. There are many small roles and there are even more big ones all fall to the battalion. Like the very important and for some maybe even boring duty of taking care of your regiment, helping where needed like making big decisions or raising issues to the right people so it can be fixed. I have experience in leading because of my Event Planner rank and also because of my Colonel rank. I believe personally I am very good at making myself heard. I am also a serious person when I need to be, which would be 99% of the time as Battalion. I also have a lot of military knowledge. Both from the real world and from Star Wars which I think would be beneficial. I am also very active on the server as of writing this 2.497 hours in the game 146 of which are from the last two weeks where about half of last week I was on LOA from 212th. My two temp EXO periods also means I have some experience. In making those bigger decisions which does make me prepared for what's ahead. And then there is just the simple fact that I love being in a leading role. I take pride in helping people and leading them towards that victory we all want. And as we all know if you love doing something you will also want to do it more. Which is needed for a battalion. It is not a simple job and it takes some dedication and time a lot of it. I see the 2 of you that have commented say no jedi event is a bad thing. I just had the thought that i would skip it for the first one cuz it does say that i should make something simple. And that's what i did but fair will remember for my next app if this gets denied. To reply to you Tasker. My thought was we would go to storm or titan or whatever like normal after 4pm. And then when 7pm comes around we switch to the venator. And then afterwards when the event is done we go to Rishimoon. And for EC HP is too low thank you for telling me. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I believe that I would be well suited to be a staff member since I'm a very calm person who can put myself in someone else's shoes and listen well. I also believe that I can be a fun person which is often needed in a community. You can’t just have angry people running around policing you sometimes need to loosen up and see the fun and let it go. But when it is needed I can also straighten up and be serious. People need to respect staff especially the lower ranks who don’t understand how everything works yet. I also believe that my activity is a big plus. I am on the server from about 14:00 until about 23:00 on weekdays and on the weekends I'm on from 09:00 until somewhere in between 00:00 and 02:00 the next day. I'm also a pretty experienced Gmod player at this point with my 2000+ hours. I'm a very hard working person once I set my mind to something I go all out. I'm not the type to just give up after one or two tries. When you start something you better finish it and you better finish it the right way if you can’t don’t start at all. Plus doing something fun is always motivating and being a staff member is definitely a fun job. My maturity is probably the biggest plus. I'm never the guy who goes out partying all weekend. I don't see the point in it to be honest, a waste of money and time. I also like to think that I learn from my mistakes so when I probably make a few I'll learn and be better afterwards.
