  1. In-game name(s): CE EFT Gamma ARC COL Halt Steam Name: [ZC]Ziiderin Steam ID: (https://steamidfinder.com/): STEAM_0:1:15490686 Age when applying: 29 What country do you currently reside in? What is your time-zone: Denmark, GMT+1 Can you speak and type English fluently: I am fully capable of this task. Current total game-time on the server (type !time): 5 mo 2w 13h 23m IC Rank(s) and OOC Donation Rank(s) on CWRP: CE COL Gamma ARC - Platinum VIP Do you own a working microphone? When you communicate do you type or speak: My microphone is better than ever, and I can do both. When did you join the server? Have you taken any breaks since: I joined back in the summer of 2018, and I've had smaller breaks around the pandemic and following. How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, CWRP Discord and our forums: I always keep TS open when I play most games, same with Discord in moderation. I've honestly used the forum less now that the Discord channel holds suggestions and other applications. State all your previous OOC punishments (bans, kicks etc.) and a screenshot of your list of warns. (Go in game and type !warns.) Upload it to http://imgur.com/ or as a steam community screenshot and include the link). Your game time must be visible as well in the screenshot. (Type !time then open warns menu, and drag the menu so chat is visible with the time): I am still squeeky clean when it comes to such punishments: Steam-fællesskab :: Skærmbillede (steamcommunity.com) State the role of staff on the server: Staff deals with most OOC problems, helping reduce frictions between players for reasons unrelated to their IC roles. This can be minging, rulebreaking, and otherwise abusive behaviour towards other players. They also help out with trainings, SIMs, and sometimes events, with their access to tools that can give and change equipment, set spawnpoints, spawn vehicles, and otherwise change the playing field to make the experience smoother for the players involved. Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? I have, again. Good as new. List of all previous server staff experience: Second Battle Group (TF2) Werewolf Gaming Clone Wars Clone Wars Roleplay (this is where we are currently) Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: I wouldn't expect anything less. Former Staff Questions (Remove these if you have not been staff on our server before): 1 ) For how long were you a staff member on CWRP: Just barely a month, regrettably. 2 ) What rank did you reach before leaving the staff team: Moderator 3 ) Were you demoted or did you resign? Why: I made the decision to resign due to my professional life. I could not put an amount of time into the server that I felt worthy of having a staff position, and I decided to focus on the people I work with outside the server. 4 ) In hindsight, what would you have done differently as a staff member: Not much. I'd always strive to look out for places I could help out, and I had no problems with the server. 5 ) How have you improved since you left the staff team: I like to think I have a better understanding of how staff works, and a better idea of what I'm getting into as well as knowledge of just how many people I can ask for help. Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: I would spectate the player, keeping an eye on them, while using damagelogs to check their recent combats. If they do attack someone, I could then immediately pull them into a sit and give out proper warnings and punishment, while also addressing any other logs on them. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: I'd inform the Battalion, or lacking any, one of the highest officers available. 3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: This depends on how much the CT ends up shooting. If it's a single bullet, I'd keep observing and allowing Battalion to admonish the CT for failing to safety their weapon. If instead they keep firing, I will pull them out with my physgun and bring them to a sit away from debrief. Then I'd give a fair warning about possible attempts at RDM, while not disturbing debrief further. 4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: If I am currently performing my duties as a staff member, my rank bears no meaning in the situation as it would be OOC. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: While not everything can be written down in a rulebook, I would have to explain to them that certain scenarios would require someone to follow common sense, like things you wouldn't expect a clone to do, regardless of being told not to. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I would ask them to remain calm and let me explain while citing the rules of the server. If this does not dissuade them I'd ask them to make an inquiry on the forums so that they can get the input of the staff team. And if they continue, I will inform them that they can be punished for needless arguing. Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I've seen my fair share of events on this server. Some might think it funny to use years on a videogame, yet alone the same community server, but I've found it works for me. Along with enjoying the gameplay immensely, testing my mettle with different weapons, new vehicles, changing comrades, I've also come to enjoy the camaraderie one gets to experience once one gets to know you guys. I've met the good, I've met the bad, and I dare say I've met the amazing, While we play at being highly trained soldiers in the GAR, I can't help but love the diversity when it comes to how people go about it, whether they be immersing themselves in a role or not. Some of you are just fine, and I wouldn't change anything about you. You might be a great shot, you might be an ace pilot, you could just be a really good buddy, always ready to support each other in combat. Some of you are terrible, yet you look to improve yourselves, and I am here for you as long as you want me. Sure, people might laugh at bad grenade throw, or a crash landing, but the important part is taking the time to learn from these situations, and knowing who to ask when you need help improving. Some of you are incredible in the work you put in, whether you're a badass son-of-a-gun, a master tactician, a superstar RP'er, a wizard when it comes to coding, or if you're just that guy who likes helping out, and I want you to know that I wish I could be just half as good at it as you are. People often comment on my voice, and I prefer to take that in stride, so if they like hearing me talk, I say I'll keep at it. If someone needs to know how their equipment words, I'll talk to them. If someone is wondering where things are, I'll explain how to find them, and who can take them there. If anyone asks me, I always try my best to help. I'm confident I can work with any weapon, vehicle, piece of equipment, and environment, and I am taking strides in acquiring the technical know-how to also be of help to those with problems related to OOC work, like coding and balancing, even if I am not currently seeking a developer position. I'll refrain from leaking anyone's work, but I've greatly enjoyed being asked for input on developments for the server, and I hope I can live up to the trust that some of you put in me to share those ideas. Some of you were present at the time, some of you were staff back then, and even some of you still are. I want you to know that my outlook has not changed. As much as I don't want to plagiarize my own work, I want you to understand that I'll always be here, and I merely ask for the chance to help others have as much fun as I've had on this server. I do my best to understand the people I work alongside, and I'll keep doing it as long as you'll have me.
  2. In-game name(s): CG ARC COL Halt (Temporarily CG Temp EXO Halt) Steam Name: [WG]Ziiderin Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:15490686 Age when applying: 28 What country do you currently reside in? What is your time-zone: Denmark, GMT+1 Can you speak and type English fluently: Indeed I can. Current total game-time on the server (type !time): 4mo 4d 21h 53m IC Rank(s) and OOC Donation Rank(s) on CWRP: CG ARC COL, (temp CG EXO), Jedi Initiate. Platinum VIP Do you own a working microphone? When you communicate do you type or speak: I possess a microphone which is my primary form of communication, but I'm more than ready to type stuff out for people. When did you join the server? Have you taken any breaks since: I joined during the summer of 2018, kept playing up until Covid hit, where I had to tap out due to professional reasons. How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, CWRP Discord and our forums: TS is the first app I open when I go on the server, I can always be reached on Discord, and after the fix on the forums I'll also be here. State all your previous OOC punishments (bans, kicks etc.) and a screenshot of your list of warns. (Go in game and type !warns.) Upload it to http://imgur.com/ or as a steam community screenshot and include the link). Your game time must be visible as well in the screenshot. (Type !time then open warns menu, and drag the menu so chat is visible with the time): I have yet to incur any such punishments https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2871540993 State the role of staff on the server: The purpose of staff is to assist with OOC situations, such as curtailing abusive behaviour or removing rulebreakers, help with equipment usage in SIMs or trainings requiring them, and overall to keep a nice playing field for those who log onto the server. Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? I have, and I am. List of all previous server staff experience: I was an administrator for Second Battle Group, a TF2 community Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: I'd expect nothing less Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: I'd follow and keep an eye on them, bringing up their damage logs to check if they've hurt anyone. Should they have hurt someone outside events or simulated combat, or if they do shoot someone as I tail them, I'd drag them out and bring to their attention that they're breaking the rules and hand them punishment based on their actions. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: I'd inform the battalion, or other leading officer on base, that they need to assign a trainer for the cadets. 3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: While most people don't line up for debrief with their weapons out, a misfire can happen. If this is a "one-shot" incident, I'd defer to battalion or the leading officer to scold the CT in question. If the trigger is held down however, I'll pull the CT out of the debrief and investigate if it's a technical issue, or warn them for ARDM, respectfully. 4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: No problem. As staff, I'm an OOC entity and shouldn't be seen as my IC rank at all. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: I'll remind them that rules lawyering to find loopholes may result in harsher punishment, and tell them to apply some common sense in the scenarios they may have created. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I tell them politely, yet firmly, that I'm merely doing my job, and that if they feel wronged they can bring the case under the scrutiny of everyone on the forums. Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I've been on the server for a while now, and I've experienced a lot of things in my time, whether they be good or bad. I've seen regiments come and go, met inspiring personages (for a video game) and I've strived to be the kind of person that others would want to look for when they need help. After meeting the staff members, some of which I've worked with in character as well as OOC, I've picked up the habit of wanting to be as involved as I can, both with the roleplay of the server, but also with the technical aspects and possible changes to such. Whether it be changes to weapon loadouts, regimental structure, the chain of command, or even some trivial misunderstanding of which LAAT/class is used for what, I'd rather engage myself with the issue, than let it pass by unnoticed. If I can make sense of stuff for myself, I find that I can more easily explain scenarios for things that others might not have thought about yet. I may sound full of myself, but I honestly want to be helpful in any capacity that might be open to me, and hearing from others what they might think of something is the first step towards being able to help them. Being a staff member, I might hear even more of issues that won't normally go to OOC chat. I am through and through a sucker for being helpful, and I put a lot of effort into learning how things work, and how I can make them work for others. I have a creative streak, giving my designs for the weapons and equipment currently in use by Regimental Medics and Reserve Medics, as well as the stimgun that MCC currently hold. I've been behind the reformatting of rules of engagement for medical troops, and I won't shy away from helping anyone if any sort of rule or guideline needs restructuring or clarification. I strive to always be the best version of myself, and hope that I can help others do the same.
  3. +1 Have to say, I felt more confident using a single DC-17 Blaster Pistol than I do using the Dual Commandos. Lacks that Ooomph one expects from the handcannon's we're wielding.
  4. Fleet: Would the officers of the fleet be expected to have a crueler way with commanding their troops? Like, bigger demands, higher expectations, scorn towards unfavoured troops, and stuff like that. More of a question of what one can get away with playing as a fleet officer. Possible lore characters: I can guess there'd be an Emperor and Vader, most likely a Tarkin as well, but what about other lore characters? Guessing most people know about Grand Admiral Thrawn or Director Krennic, and some might expect to see them. Will there be Inquisitors for the saber players?

  6. In-game name(s): 74th SMO Halt Jedi Initiate Halt Steam Name: [WG]Ziiderin Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:15490686 Age when applying: 26 What country do you currently reside in? What is your time-zone: I reside in Denmark, and as such am in the GMT+1 timezone. Can you speak and type English fluently: I most assuredly can. Current total game-time on the server: 10 weeks, 4 days, 12 hours, 47 minutes, according to timestamp IC Rank(s) and OOC Donation Rank(s) on SW-RP: In-character I'm at 74th SMO, and Jedi Initiate. Out-of-character I have Platinum VIP. Do you own a working microphone? When you communicate do you type or speak: I have a microphone, which is my primary way of communicating, though I've no problem writing to people. When did you join the server? Have you taken any breaks since: About 2.5 years ago, back in the summer of 2018. Haven't had real reason to take a break from the server. How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, SW-RP Discord and our forums: I always use Teamspeak and Discord for communicating, you won't find me playing without. I've taken to peruse the forums more often late, to keep on top of things. State all your previous OOC punishments (bans, kicks etc.) and a screenshot of your list of warns: I've had none of the sort: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2400803565 State the role of staff on the server: Staff works to make the server safer and gameplay more stable. They're a part of getting people into the server, they help with technical issues within their ULX permissions, take care of rule-breakers, and assist with scenarios requiring non-standard loadouts, like trainings or SIMs. Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them?: Yes, I have, and I am also famimliar with the punishments for those who break them. List of all previous server staff experience: Second Battle Group, TF2 community server Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: I understand, and will strive to not meet such a consequence. _________________________________________________________________________ Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member. 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: I'd take a peek at the "killer" in question by cloaking around him, to make sure he's not currently engaged with anything. I'd have no reason to hinder their gameplay if I don't have clear sign of wrongdoing. It'd be simple to just check logs to see if anyone has been killed, and if not, question the witness if he's sure about who he saw. The logs would show both killer and victim, so one could find a mistaken identity by this method as well. I'd also remind the witness, in the case no logs are found, that misleading staff can lead to harsh punishments, and make really sure if they understand that they shouldn't falsely report anyone. If the "killer" really did kill someone, whether I witness a repeat and drag him out of the situation to have a sit, or if I find the logs and make a sit after the fact, I'd explain to them their wrongdoing, the fact that I have logs to back up the charge, and tell them the punishment they'll incur. Depending on their actions, this can be anything from being kicked for simple RDM, to being banned for MRDM, their attitude during the sit not withstanding. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: This would be a job for battalion, or other leading officers on base. I'd simply take the claim and pass it to the leader on base via PMs, so they can call a suitable trainer to the cadet area. 3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: This being an accident, I suppose the CT would only have fired one shot. If they keep firing, I'd pull them out of the line, to avoid further damage. Depending on their behaviour, I'd have to gauge whether it really was an accident, and they seek their own betterment. In the case of one shot, I might ask myself who taught him to pull the trigger while putting a weapon on safety, or to line up for debrief with a weapon out at all, but this would fall to the leading officers and CG to deal with, as it's more akin to an RP situation with an unlucky CT. 4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: As staff, this doesn't matter at all. When doing claims, staff are counted as out of character, and people shouldn't worry about saluting them, even if they pop-in while not in the SOD job. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: I'd remind them that the rules also state to not attempt to find loopholes, with the cost of harsher punishments, and to take into consideration what could logically be expected of roleplaying military units in the Star Wars universe. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I would point out that I'm merely doing the job of upholding the rules on the server, and that if they feel wronged they can file it on the forums, where we'd both be under the scrutiny of every member of the community, staff or not. My aim would be to keep the sit short and calm, to not agitate further reactions needing punishment. _________________________________________________________________________ Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member: I believe I can make for a great staff member, due to my experience on the server, and my technical know-how, which I have acquired from prior management and my correspondence with other staff members. Experience in roleplay does not necessarily translate to experience as a staff member, but of the people I have worked with on the server, I always found people with a penchant to look out for others, to become staff members. Likewise, the staff I have had the chance to talk at length with always seem to earnestly put in an effort to clear up misunderstandings, and share what help they can, most of them having had high ranks and people who would speak well of their experience with them. To this day, I remain interested in the inner workings of the server, technical or not, and I always make a point of finding out how something works, so I can translate it to workable information that others can use in their endeavors. If something proves difficult to a player, I will always try to help them, even demonstrating to them the methods, should I have the opportunity. I would put myself above other applicants because of my drive to help other people, to understand any situation I come across and to make it understandable for all parts involved, and my openness to challenges. I will not shy away from difficult situations, or people, as that could end up making problems for others, and I would rather know that I, or someone I know I can rely on, can make a difference for the better. Whether I do become staff or not, I have people on the server I know I can look to for help, or just someone I can talk to, should I have ideas for better experiences, or more difficult matters relating to people on the server. My aim is to be one such person, regardless of what my actual job on the server is. I would be more than happy to prove myself, should I get the chance.
  7. +1 from me Nesta is an exceedingly capable person, always looking out for others. She puts in a lot of work, not just to help others, but also to make managing work more effective and streamlined. She'd definitely excel at the task of being staff.
  8. Neutral I could see this working if they switch some of the models over, taking some models from RM and giving them to RRM. Other than that, same as everyone else. Keep them distinguishable.
  9. 1+ I sometimes forget that 327th even have that gun. Some tweaking to make it more appealing may be in order. Damage or precision could be improved, to make it better, balance out with movement or recoil if absolutely necessary.
  10. +1 Some nice spice of life Hadn't considered the locksmith option, but I can tell the Fusion Cutter has a lot of functionality. Creator frequently updates their work, so fixes would be easy to get. Turbolaser is going to be a blast, per some testing of my own, it'll work fine in our setting. To my understanding, the output can be modified easily, so it would work to scale with whatever ship you want to use it from. GM getting a fire extinguisher makes sense, gives them an option to un-burn their brothers, or hell, prevent EC's from burning them. Can tell CE will mostly, if not exclusively, have it for passive, unless we can burn ships. And I might be biased here, but please consider letting 74th have access to it as well. Would make it easier to help burning clones that we can't otherwise save.
  11. +1 Give the Event Hosts a cookie, they've earned it.
  12. In Game Name: Halt (Currently: 74th T SMO Halt) Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:15490686 Are you currently staff on any other server or WG server: I am not. In-game rank (VIP and 501st SGT): Platinum VIP and 74th Adv. Researcher (Trial EXO) Have you got experience in staffing RP servers: Not for RP, no. Age: 26 Playtime: 8 weeks, 2 days, 20 hours Predicted time on server per week: 30 to 35 hours, give or take. Warns/bans: Nothing at all. I plan to keep it that way. Do you use a microphone: I do as a primary means of communication. What do you aim to achieve in our staff team: I hope that by offering my service, that I'd learn how to put my wanting to help other players as best I can, to proper action. I wish to make the experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible for all the people we have playing with us. And if I can aid other staff, i'd be more than happy to. Why do you stand out among other candidates: I can't speak for the experience of others, but I pride myself in my drive to learn and help other people. I have experience in using both chat-commands and administrative tools on the Source engine, and I stand by my experience to make my introduction to the team swift and seamless. Why should we pick you to staff our server(200 words): I trust the team will make the choices they deem best for the server, and I emphasize that my addition to your ranks would earn you a hardworking member, focused on helping any and all players I meet. I have prior experience with moderating and am confident in how to deal with both technical difficulties, and trouble-makers. I trust that the other staff and I will be able to communicate among ourselves, to teach of our shared experiences, and to make the best decisions without stressing eachother. I will do my best to learn everything there is to the job and responsibilities that staff have, so I'd be open to any help the more experienced members would have to share. I'll ask questions if I ever get stuck, rather than take a guess. Getting things right would be my priority, to make the experience for the players more enjoyable, without being restrictive or time-consuming for them. I can not overstate how much thought I put into how I might end up affecting other players, and if I'm able to make it easier for them to engage with and enjoy the gameplay on the server, that'd bring me immense joy. While I've dealt with troublesome players, in an administrative position and out, I would greatly appreciate, and be open to, any and all help the other staffmembers have in how to deal with specific scenarios that could only happen in Star Wars RP. Do you understand that if you are unsuitable as a staff member your rank may be removed: If that is to be a consequence of my wrongdoing, then so be it. I'll just strive to avoid that scenario. If a trooper didn’t salute to you, what do you do as a staff member: Nothing at all. I'd imagine I wouldn't think about it, as being Staff On Duty would render you Out-Of-Character, only popping in to help those who ask for it. I know it's possible to help without changing to SOD, but even so, it wouldn't be feasible to demand recognition as I'll be working as staff, and not my regimental character. You haven’t done your duties as a staff member as much as you should one week, how do you handle this: I'd apologize to my fellow staff-members, and do my utmost to coordinate in a way to make up for the deficit, without encroaching on the duties of others. You don’t like a staff member, how do you handle this: Who I like or dislike wouldn't affect my duties. If it's a difference of opinion, there's no use making a fuss of it. If it's a case of actions to anyone's detriment, I'd try to discuss our differences, and work out a solution to make it easier for us to work together while not hampering each other, or disturbing the players. Anything else: wgswrp The template doesn't say anything about writing anything else here, so I'll use the space to thank you, yes YOU, the one reading this application, for having read this far. I kept the humour to a minimum, but I'll gladly amend that for future engagements.
