+1 Only spoke to Tasker once or twice but when I did he was very chilled. This was a year ago also and the fact that he is still dedicated to the server after this long shows his determination to help out as staff. A lot of IC experience and his application is written very well.

-1 From the few times I have spoken to Chim she seemed very immature and I have spoken to you multiple times when you were "drunk" in the teamspeak server. Not a very good example for server staff to be setting in my opinion.

Have you taken any breaks since: I joined just before it switched to Tatooine RP and then took a break and tried to join the navy. I am always in TS from time to time and will become more active. State all your previous OOC punishments (bans, kicks etc.): None State the role of staff on the server: Staff are there to make sure that the server is a fun and fair place for players to enjoy the server. Whether that means helping new players out with mods to make sure that they are able to understand them or banning people who have broken the rules. The main role is to make sure the server is being played how it is meant to be and to lookout for players who may be breaking the rules and ruining the experience for other players. Also staff may use the SoD job to take time away from RP and fully dedicate their time to staff and making sure that the server is running smoothly in terms of players. Why: Resigned and tried to join the navy. 4 ) How have you improved since you left the staff team: I have just taken a break after trying other things in life and feel like that is what was needed. I am eager to play the new server also and have a lot of motivation to help out when it launches. I have also familiarised myself with all of the rules and spoke to some of the old staff. Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other Imperials: To begin with I would go to a secluded area which is outside of RP so that it would not affect any in-character situations. I would then bring the player that had made the ticket for RDM. After bringing them, I would ask them to explain the situation and also if they had any evidence which may show that it was intentional. Then I would bring the accused player and ask to hear his side of the story as if he is a new player or simply didn’t know the rules then I would be able to inform him and maybe just give him a verbal warning or a kick with the rules to give him time to go over them and read them. If it was an experienced or veteran player then they would be warned accordingly to their previous warnings either ending in a ban or another warning. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: I would first begin by telling the player that they shouldn’t contact staff to train cadets instead they should use their communication channels to see if there is an NCO+ present to train them. I would then tell them that I will see if there is a trainer available and ask him to train the cadets. 3 ) During a patrol, an Enlisted Trooper accidentally shoots someone, whilst trying to secure their weapon: There is no reason for staff to intervene in this situation unless someone had made a ticket for ARDM. 4 ) You are a Lieutenant or higher rank, an Enlisted Trooper doesn't salute you: I would handle it IC due to the fact that I can’t do anything as staff in this situation. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitly stated within the server rules: I would explain to them that FailRP isn’t just one specific rule and it applies to a number of offences that the player is able to commit. For example if someone is speaking OOC while in an IC situation then I would tell them that is FailRP. I would then warn them for FailRP. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I would tell them that staff word is final and that there is no point in arguing the point on the server or making another ticket as it would just be wasting staff time. I would then tell them that they are always free to go to the forums and make an appeal or a staff abuse report if they feel that they have been treated improperly or punished in an unfair manner. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I think that I stand out among other candidates because I have a lot of experience on other servers and particularly in the game mode that the server is switching to. Another reason that I think I could become staff is that I am dedicated to the server and I am making a return full time and committing. I feel like I am liked on the server and hopefully people would like to see me as staff on the server. I want to help the server grow also and help people out on the server so that they can have a good experience on the server. Just wanting to help out and coming back to the community since I will have a lot of spare time over the next year or so. I have a good understanding of basic Ulx commands which may make it easier for me to become a staff. A big factor I think is because I am in the time zone the server is in which enables me to be on during peak hours. I feel like I can also be on a lot and not be inactive which would make me a good staff member during the day to take sits. When I was on the server, I took a lot of sits and was very quick in doing so. I will always want to help out where I can even if it is with other staff members and they need a second opinion or just help with a random situation that they might have.
