Have you taken any breaks since: I joined the server from IRP's original release around November 2021 I believe. I then took multiple leaves from the server to go back to NRP. From the release of T-RP I played then for a bit then took a leave once again. How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, IRP Discord and our forums: I use TS all the time, I check the discord quite a bit and the forums not so much anymore. State the role of staff on the server The staff have the key role of ensuring that all players on the server are following the rules listed, upholding the rules themselves and by doing this improving the RP experience for the players on the server. They are here to respond to players' queries and sits on rule breakages. All while the staff member must be ensuring they are being fair and unbiased during it. Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? Yes. List of all previous server staff experience: I have been staff on W-G NRP twice. 1x Moderator in 2021 and 1x Senior moderator late 2022. Why: 4 ) How have you improved since you left the staff team: Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other Imperials: First I would have to TP the player that called the sit to a roof, and then ask the player if they knew his name or had his SteamID. I would then check blogs to see the combat logs to evaluate if it could be RDM. I would also ask the player who made the sit for evidence as well. If from the combat logs I can see him initiating combat, I would TP the player and warn him appropriately from the different RDMs. Which may result in him being banned or kicked to read the rules. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: I would TP to the cadet and inform him that I will find him a trainer. I would then contact the regimental COs for them to ask an NCO to go and train the cadet. If no one responds, I would TP to one of the NCOs not doing anything and request for him to do so. If for some reason there is no NCO about and I am of an NCO rank, I would switch to that job and do it myself. 3 ) During a patrol, an Enlisted Trooper accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: This seems to be more of an IC thing. Therefore, the shock would be the ones to deal with punishing the ET and ensuring that he doesn't do it again, and can correctly safety his weapon. If there is a bug to be on the server that is causing shooting whilst saftying weapons, I would inform the Shock involved with punishing him to ensure that the punishment is not severe. 4 ) You are a Lieutenant or higher rank, an Enlisted Trooper doesn't salute you: Once again this is not a staff matter. However, if the ET is forgetting to salute these ranks then I would remind them from their cadet training about saluting, and that not following this can result in punishments. If the ET is still forgetting then I would ensure that Shock knew or I would punish them myself, and then have an NCO run through the basic training again. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: The rules state that FailRP is not limited to the scenarios stated in the rules of FailRP. Therefore, the offender would still be told to use some kind of common sense when trying to RP. If this was their first time trying to get around it, then I would simply verbally warn them. However, if they have previous warns or were verbally warned beforehand then I would warn/ban them as fit. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I would inform the player that they can appeal the punishment on the forums if they did not agree with me. If for some reason the player is verbally abusing me, another staff member or a player that called the sit I would verbally warn them first about DTP or DTS. If they continued they would be warned for it and kicked from the server to calm them down. Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words) I don't have a whole lot of time on this server, however, I have always been keen on this server's growth and revival. Every time it's been released again I have always come back to try it. Now I want to try and help with its revival by bringing my previous staff experience on WG from NRP to this staff team. I also intend to start being very active in the Shock trooper regiment to try and progress through the ranks and bring my knowledge (as I was a battalion leader in NRP) in running a regiment and how to make it active. From my previous staff experience, I know how to work all the moderator ULX and access the logs etc. As I am not that well known in the IRP now ICRP community, I can bring a fresh new outlook onto the server. I also would be looking forward to starting to socialise with the members of ICRP when it's released, so that people can get more known to me. During my time in NRP I never really had any conflicts and got along with a lot of the people. Therefore, I believe I can get along with a lot of the players that still play quite fast. Also during T-RP when I was in T-SEC for a short time I tried to help Fred and the other reg heads with how to keep the regiment active. This is from the training that I hosted a lot with a fellow NCO who was Mojave. I also helped create a medic handbook for T-SEC that was then fully finished by Archer. If I am chosen for staff, I will be the most active I can be whilst performing to the best of my ability to ensure that all players enjoy their RP experiences, and get treated fairly within the rules.
