    I meant rewriting the lore currently written, if we were to change the total purpose of Sarkics we would first have a management discussion, then we would get community feedback, then we would run it through hierarchy because we would need new entities and sweps, that's a long process, I just meant rewriting our current lore in a better more fitting manner

    The similarities to GOC are on purpose, people keep resuggesting GOC as a surface job but it always gets denied, we made this to appease some of those people and hopefully bring forward more RP with its purpose rather it being just a massive TDM group, despite the weapons and jobs we aim to make this a predominantly passive RP job and there will be rules added to make sure it stays that way, those are there for the purpose of being able to sustain ourselves to some degree with just how powerful some of the surface GOIs are now.

    We aim to be on friendly terms with the foundation, not allied, we can help each other out from time to time but we will not be connected forces 100% of the time  as thats just broken and unfair for any GOI on the receiving end of the raid.

    There is no other way to describe this part as, yes, we will be predominately independent and doing our own thing, if push comes to shove we will redo the relation woth foundation to neutral to add another element and avoid the bumlicking (not bumlicking foundation will be in the rules and will result in a tier to prevent this happening).

    Regarding job managment, as stated in the thread and in a reply to elk, the managment for this jobn, just like every other aspect of it, is subject to change, we would like to before this gets either accepted or denied, sit in a call with xunt or cale and have a discussion about what we could change to make it more balanced and fun, even if that includes switching 1 or 2 more Hierarchy to make the job the best it can be.

     

    These are all valid concerns and im more than happy to address these further if its needed, criticism is necessary to make a group function as it dictates what the best course of action is for it.

    The point of managment being brought up is an important one, and im glad you decided to bring it up, we infact have plans in place for what will happen to managment if this gets accepted, if, and only if, this becomes a large problem of favouritism towards one group, then personally i plan on leaving sepia managment for sarkics, take this how you will however as im just an internet stranger,  the other 2 have plans in place for managment too if this gets accepted, however it is not within my place to site these decisions until the job possibly gets accepted, we did discuss amongst us that people may have a problem with sarkic AND church managment running another GOI and taking this into account we have contingency plans in place, i do thank you for the feedback

    How we differentiate from the GOC:

    While you all may think that SEPIA is simply a GOC copy, you may be right, you're not entirely wrong. But that doesn't mean this one will function the same, there was 1 flaw we can all agree upon in GOC where there first thought they had when spotting an anomaly was to simply destroy it. However SEPIA don't instantly nuke every teleporting chair they find, instead Anomalies they do see will be captured. Then they will attempt to remove its anomalous property entirely and release it. For example you captured an anomalous humanoid who has pyrokinetic powers. The Sepia SWEP will have it be used on him for about 1 whole minute. This will return him to a normal human being, his memory will be wiped and then he shall be set free back into society. Over all yes it may seem like GOC but SEPIA actually does something with the anomalies they get other than just keeping them in a cell and then shooting them 10 min later. If they recovered an anomalous object like the 016, 005 or the Armour cog etc. They can render it a normal object again then leave it. This will cause other GOIs to attempt to get these anomalies before SEPIA gets there hands on them.

    Why we wish to add SEPIA:

    Another main reason we wish to add this GOI is because we believe that the surface at the moment has a huge gap in its food chain. By which we mean that the GOI's have almost free reign of the surface and no one can really stand up to them, and if they can, the foundation doesn't try that much, so we intend on adding a GOI that can cause some sort of conflict, hopefully giving other GOIs a consistent enemy on surface as SEPIA will also be friendly with the foundation, because as we all know the foundation is strong defensively but on the offensive side they are lacking, so we hope this will sort of provide some competition to fix this, hopefully you agree as well.

    Agent Fulcrum: "this is a tree of flesh, in case you aren't aware, these are typically produced by another GOI we believed to be residing within the city, known as the Sarkic Cults, up until recently, we were not sure if this had something to do with the city's anomalous property or if we indeed had a Sarkic cell, the people who are involved have manipulation over flesh and are able to change their physiology at will, we sent a scout into the city with a body camera to observe this cultist cell, these are the final moments his body camera picked up before we lost contact.        Agent Fulcrum walks out of the way, turning off the lights and switching slides, starting up a video clip on the projector, showing the time [23:37], date [17/5/20], and agent codename [Agent Phantom]

    Agent Phantom: "Control, this is Agent Phantom, i'm closing in on the target area. Over."

    SEPIA Command: "Copy that Phantom, switch to Infra-Red vision and remain watch your surroundings. Over"

       After a period of silence, the Kiraak comes into view on Phantoms body camera, away from the tree there are 3 figures in robes, surrounding a bound civilian and chanting

    Agent Phantom: "Control, are you seeing this? Over."

       Radio Static and the body camera footage begins to scramble slightly

    Agent Phantom: "Control, the tree is in sight, possible hostiles also in the surrounding are-"

       The heavy footsteps of an extremely large creature charging are heard out of view, closing in on Phantom extremely fast

    Agent Phantom: "W-WHAT THE FUCK?!"

       Phantoms rifle comes into view before opening fire, dumping his magazine into the charging creature as the bullets ricochet off of its heavy bone armour plating

    Agent Phantom: "CONTROL! CONFIRMED SARKIC ACTIVITY, SEND THE CLEANSERS! G-GAH! NO! LET GO OF MEEE!"

       Phantom is grabbed by the head and lifted off the ground by the creature, writhing and kicking in pain as he attempts to escape its grasp, the creature brings its face into view of the camera, letting out a deafening roar as it throws phantom to the ground, looming over him before it begins to pummel into the ground repeatedly, its claws becoming bloody as blood, guts and other viscera are flying into the air as Phantom is painfully ripped to shreds alive, screaming and gargling on his own blood before the video feed pauses on the Abominations face

       Agent Fulcrum steps back into view

    Agent Fulcrum: "This is what we are up against, its unknown just how many of these are within the city, you will need this device on your mission.

       Agent Fulcrum picks a brief case off the ground, opening it to reveal its contents, a small, seemingly harmless olive green metal box

    Agent Fulcrum: "This is a SEPIA Device, it will remove the anomalous nature of any item it is placed upon and render it neutralised, field and lab testing have shown promising results, its *almost* 100% effective against any anomaly, especially humanoid anomalies and objects with anomalous properties. *almost* is a key work here. it was discovered that members of the Sarkic cults that can transform their physiology, like the one behind me, perish after coming into contact with the machine and having their power stripped, almost like its what is keeping them alive, this is a crucial piece of information, as it will be easier to strip these fleshy bastards of their powers rather than shooting them, you saw what little damage bullets did to that thing.

    Agent Fulcrum: "you will not be alone, inside the city in an unknown location, there is an foundation site who are also working on containing the city and eliminating the threats inside it, if you can establish contact with them, they are sure to aid us."
     

       An alarm sounds in the halls and a woman's voice is heard over the intercom system

    Intercom system: "Cleansing team Omega, Bay 5 is ready for Departure."

    Agent Fulcrum: "That sounds like your queue. This briefing is over. Gear up and get ready men, you leave at 15 hundred hours."

    SEPIA is a highly organized, covert operations organisation with unknown origin and unknown funding, they posses highly advanced technology, using only the most cutting edge equipment to help them achieve their goal of an anomaly-free world, using their tactics and equipment to destroy any opposition who may use the anomalous entities of the world for their own gains such as the Chaos Insurgency. Their view of the anomalous is almost similar to the Global Occult Coalition, but their methods of handling these types of entities are almost polar opposites. Their goals regarding these anomalous entities, and some times logged SCP objects, is to remove there their anomalous property entirely rendering the object neutralised while fully intact, as they see the anomalous in general as a corruption, simply plaguing humanities evolution by the gods, attempting to bend and control humanities evolutionary path in their own way. Not alot of information is known on how they achieve this feat, except for their use of SEPIA DEVICES that can vary in size, from either a pocket device, to sometimes entire machines the size of a semi truck if the situation requires it .They mostly utilize infiltration, espionage and identity warfare but will occasionally go head strong when needed to, such as the current situation in Ovis city regarding the amount of anomalous and GOI activity.

    Mors Deus is a division of the Sarkic Cults obsessed with power, they see anyone who does not follow there intrests as weak inferior beings who are easily bent to there will.

    Although they take part in ritual sacrifices they more oftern use people or train animals for their own personal gain to make their quality of life easier on the road to apotheoisis.

    Many of the members are former government agents, Info brokers & Adytum wake members, they are able to gather information about a persons life then use them by threatening family members lives or bribery. "Theres a price for every thing..."

    Although these sarkics are more brutal then its neighbouring divisions there front is more of a classy look living in mansions, posh resturants, executive buildings etc. this makes them less suspicous when finding out information about people as they pay alot of money in taxes and their business because whats is money to a God? Thats right, nothing but a piece of paper.

     

    However there bribery tatics and family threats dont always work, if they dont its usually sacrifice due to there strong will being beneficial but theres a certain few groups people who's co-operation is vital so many of the members have begun to practice brain washing and torture techniques to ensure the persons full co-operation.

    Mors Deus although animalistic in the way they sacrifice and act have been testing with animals & insects and have been able to through testing give God like powers to small insects with minor alterations like flys, mosquitos and beetles although there bodys could not handle it and ended up dying after 1 day to a week.
