State the role of staff on the server:

The role of a staff member on the server is -

Moderating = Enforcing the server rules so everything on the server stays in peace and everyone can enjoy the experience.

Assistance = Helping people with any of their questions on anything about the server or anything technical regarding the server.

Conflict resolving = If it comes to people starting to fight in the chat staff members should mute the two people to let them call down or take them to a staff sit and talk it out.

Peace keepers = Staff make sure everything on the server runs smoothly and make sure anyone in need of help gets it ASAP.

Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? Yes I have read them.

List of all previous server staff experience: None

Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: Yes

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones:

Firstly I would ask him who is the one randomly killing people. When the name is said I would immediately check the logs for that parsons name and if I see that he has or is killing people I would teleport him to the staff room if there is one and explain him what he has done wrong and that he will be getting a warning for RDM or MRDM depending on the amount of people he has killed. After that I would tell him to not do it again and teleport him back to his previous location.

2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function:

In that situation I would teleport to the cadet and I would tell them that I will get a trainer to him shortly. After that I would ask in (OOC) for preferably a NCO+ to come train a cadet, if no-one comes I would ask a battalion member to call a NCO+ to the cadet room to train cadets and if nothing still happens I would start bringing NCO+ to the cadet room and telling them to train the cadets.

3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon:

I wouldn't intervene since if it was a visible accident, it can just be dealt with IC like a CG member taking him out of line or in any other way they have been told to deal with that situation. But in this case a staff member should leave it to the RP side of the server.

4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT:

As a staff member I wouldn't do anything since its a IC rule that you have to obey and again I would just leave it up to the RP side of the server.

5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules:

I would tell them that at the end of the server rules there is a section where it explains that (Unwritten rules still exist) and if its not written down you should not attempt FailRP in any way shape or form, think about it logistically if that's a thing that would actually happen IC. After that I would look into the severity of the FailRP that this person has done and give out a reasonable punishment for it and explaining what he did wrong and to read over the server rules again.

6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing:

I would try and calm the situation down as much as a can by making them understand what they did wrong and why they got the punishment after all. If they still think its not a valid reason I would get more experienced staff member on the scene explain them the situation and ask for their opinion. If the person still is disagreeing or getting hostile about the situation I would tell him that there is a Forums page for Werewolf gaming where he can appeal to remove his punishment and I would give him the link to the Forums.

Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words):

I firmly believe that every applicant holds the potential to be an exceptional addition to the staff team. The unique strengths and assets each individual brings can significantly contribute to the collective expertise of the team. As the staff members evaluate applications, the decision will ultimately rest on identifying the most valuable attributes that align with their needs.

Allow me to explain on why I consider myself a suitable candidate for a staff position. My commitment to both the in-game environment and the community extends beyond my time on the server; I am actively engaged in discussions and activities even outside of gameplay. I pride myself on being a reliable resource for assistance, suggestions, and support. My objective is to not only assist the staff team but to also enhance the overall experience of every community member. The vibrant and welcoming community has inspired me to contribute positively to newcomers experiences, ensuring they feel valued and supported all the way trough.

My strongest assets I would bring to Staff are:

Consistent ActivityI'm online daily, which allows me to fulfill staff responsibilities whenever required, especially during periods of low staffing.

FriendlinessThrough my interactions on the server, I have formed genuine connections and friendships. This positions me as someone dependable and trustworthy in various situations.

Swift decision makingIn critical moments, I have demonstrated the ability to make well-considered decisions. Additionally, I am always ready to offer guidance and suggestions when fellow staff members seek input.

ApproachabilityMy friendliness complements my approachability. Players find it easy to approach me for assistance or discussions, creating an inclusive atmosphere.

Calm and collected = When it comes to more intense moments I can keep myself calm and collected and make decisions on the spot that wont make anyone disappointed.

Professional approach = When I get trusted with something Important, I take it seriously and do the job professionally.

Embracing CritiqueI embrace constructive criticism as a stepping stone for improvement. I value feedback and actively use it to refine my performance.

Helpful = I like helping people over all in any way I can help them with.

In essence, I am deeply dedicated to this community and its growth. My intention is to elevate the experiences of every member in the community even tho I don't have the longest playtime.

Competent, done well in positions he's been in this far and just keeps on going, would be a good fit in staff. (Though maybe praising other applicants in part where you are supposed to explain why you deserve staff more than others might backfire a bit)
