In-game Warnings - 1: breaking NLR and metagame

Have you read the rules of SCP-RP and do you understand them? - Yes I have read them all and understand them

Have you read the rules of SCP-096, and do you understand what you can and cannot do? - Yes I have read all the rules.  I cannot kill any other SCPs even if they look at my face. I am not allowed to go on a mass killing spree even if someone is telling me to do so. I can only kill those who looked at my face. I can’t use my level 5 keycard to get out of containment. I can only use it when chasing 096-1. If I ever get PAC3 I am not allowed to use the camera to look outside my cc. I can not sit down looking at my door inside my cc because that is basically forcing a breach. Anyone who opens the door will see my face. I have to face a wall or corner. If I am rping with my friend I still have to kill him if he looks at my face. Once I kill 096-1 I have to sit down where I killed him and not move. If someone was purposefully trying to breach me I have to report it to staff. I have to be certain that the person who I think looked at my face actually did. This isn’t much of a problem now because it shows up on the right of the screen. I have to not kill anyone else while chasing 096-1 by spamming my SWEP. This can happen accidentally so I will only click my SWEP if I am certain I will hit 096-1.

Are you able to play as SCP-096 often when the job is not taken, and give good RP to other players who encounter you? - I usually play as an SCP and I really wanted to play as 096 so I will do it very often. I have read a lot about 096 and know what I should do for good RP and that 096 can’t talk.

What is the containment procedure for SCP-096? - If SCP-096 breached because of a problem with the doors or something went wrong in testing everyone who isn’t e-11 or b-7 should leave the area without looking at his face to not cause further problems. Once 096 is located e-11 and b-7 should then be called to deal with the situation. Once everyone else has evacuated from the area e-11 and b-7 open any doors they need to and approach 096 with their backs turned. They keep walking backwards until they walk into an object. Closing doors as they go through them would be a good idea so no one who goes by can easily look at 096. Once they are near or beside it they must begin the procedure and do it slowly making sure they don't make a mistake and look at its face. First they take a bag or something that completely covers 096’s face and put it on 096.  They must tie the bag so that it doesn't come off. Blindfolding can be used if needed. They then use the elastic cuffs and drag 096 back to its cc. Only e-11, b-7 or any GOI can cuff SCP-096 and only foundation personnel with Clearance Level 3 or higher can put a bag on its face. They must watch out for people trying to take the bag off. This is more important if 096 killed 096-1 far away from its cc. Once 096 is back in the cell the cuffs must be removed. After they are removed one person should take off the bag on 096's head. They then exit with their backs turned to the cc and must not turn around until the doors close completely.

During research, a class d looks at your face and manages to escape the containment chamber, he runs towards Entrance Zone. What is your course of action while chasing 096-1 and what do you do once you have killed them? - I would chase them using my level 5 keycard if needed until i have killed them. Once I have killed them I would sit down in place and not move unless someone else looked at my face on the way which in that case I would start chasing them. Once I have killed everyone who looked at my face I would then sit down and not move.

While chasing 096-1, you encounter a researcher, d class and MTF unit who all look at your face accidentally. Once you kill the current 096-1 you go back and find them proceeding to kill them also. Is this good RP and why? - I think this is good RP because as seen in the scp wiki article about 096 he does kill multiple people that look at his face. Leaving them would be failrp.

If SCP-096’s bag had come off or an escape class had ran up and grabbed it, as e-11 or b-7 would you chase the class d or continue on to recontain SCP-096? - e-11 and b-7 are specialised in containment of SCPs not in stopping escapees so I would ask someone on comms to go after the d class and I would continue recontaining SCP-096.

A GOI had managed to enter the facility and they open your containment chamber to cuff you and take you out of the facility, one of them looks at your face but says it was just an accident and you can just ignore it. What should you do? Why? - I should kill the person who looked at my face. No matter the person’s intentions 096 would do that. 096 only worries about killing those who view its face so that’s what I should do too. Otherwise it is failrp as that would not actually happen.

Anything else you may need to tell the people reading the application? - This is my second application as seen in title. If I can ask questions in this section, do you have to wait 1-2 minutes before chasing 096-1 like in lore or just start chasing immediately?

Verdict: Neutral/+1

Reason: Though the containment procedure could do with very minor fixes and it would pass with most but it passes with me nonetheless as you haven't used the cardinal sin of /me takes bag off of 096's head. It's an all round decent application in my eyes, though it could do with a slight touch up in detail. Though it is a bit iffy, I am willing to see you have a chance at playing 096 if Olli also wishes as he is boss around here. I trust that you will follow the rule set of 096 and you will a create a good RP scenario as SCP-096.

Most of the instances/players of SCP-096 that I have seen in-game have instantly chased the target upon a trigger so I wouldn't see why you wouldn't just go chasing 096-1 immediately. Olli may answer this differently as it may be a hidden rule that I don't know about or not.

I think most people do that because it says it in the template post.

That's why we always take notes of other people's applications. See the dos and don'ts of these applications. Thankfully you haven't violated anything really.

Why do you want to join Beta-1?: I occur on the server mostly to do security and being a re-containment unit for the facility. But most of the time I have to deal with personnel that can go very negligent and violent. So I arrest them, turn him/she in for the Beta-1 and report what he/she did in the incident and state the official reason. Then the Beta-1 will thank me and I go on to my duties and continue what I do best. But I wanna move up into the division and carry on the duties as best I can do to put myself in the position to become a Beta-1 unit. I want to join the Beta-1 Division to help enforce the Site Laws and protect fellow personnel inside the facility from protocol breakers, raiders, classified information, and arrest personnel that breaks safety & security protocol and report it to the administrative staff of the site. I would love to police and stand in for the SCP Foundation's Laws, Policies and serve the Beta-1 for those intentions.

What is Beta-1's purpose on the server?: Beta-1 serves the foundation & the server as like a Military Police Unit to deal with ethical, security, and external affiliation incidents. Therefore prosecute subjects with Site Administration that fail to comply by the laws and the security of the SCP Foundation and relays reports to the Site Administration to keep bad personnel from repudiating Laws and Security to the Foundation.

Do you understand the rules of SCP-RP? (1 sentence is not an answer.): Yes I do understand them, and i will always try to follow them with my best efforts.

Do you understand the basics of 1048? (1 sentence is not an answer.): I understand that 1048 is a passiveRP job rather than a combat job. Basically 1048 is a teddy bear SCP, Keter-class, it can open surface doors but not foundation doors, because it can't reach the door buttons. It makes extremely dangeroús copies of itself, clasified 1048-A through -C. These copies are KOS if spotted by foundation personnel. 1048 itself is very friendly, because it aims toward creating a false feeling of security to foundation personnel. 1048 is contained by placing it on a box (alt+e) and the box carried to its CC. 1048 sometimes rips off a foundation personnel's ear and when gathered enough ears, it can create 1048-A.

Do you understand that PassiveRP is very important in this job and why?: Yes. This is because 1048 is not hostile towards personnel (apart from creating copies), but rather passive, because in lore it doesn't exactly mass murder foundation personnel and on the server it basically can leave its CC whenever the door is open, and freely go around the facility.

Do you understand the rules of SCP-1048, and are you willing to follow them at all times?(1 sentence is not an answer): yes, basically do not leave facility unless permission by senioradmin+ and escorted by a hostile GOI, only use /me, /it and /write to communicate via gestures, do not get other SCPs or foundation personnel to attack you, the swep is used to steal ears from personnel to create 1048-A and not for minging, and the person must have focused on you and crouched toward you so you can take their ear, also you can't use props to make copies of yourself (PME), must follow fearRP under gunpoint and in cuffs and when e-11 threatens you, and when e-11 cuffs you with their containment cuffs then you must not break out, and I must not interact with anomalies such as the orb and 012, and only go to other SCP CCs when there's a crosstest that has been approved.

Describe how SCP-1048 should act with and around Foundation Personnel: Very passively, even being a little playful. This is to create a false feeling of security to the foundation personnel so that if/when I create 1048-A, the foundation personnel will be caught off-guard. However the passiveRP elements are a very large part of the job and 1048-A is just a small element and I should focus on being friendly towards the foundation personnel.

Describe what SCP-1048 does: It acts playful and friendly near personnel, however is a personnel is crouched towards it, 1048 can take their ear with the swep and "/me takes ear". When it has enough ears it can craft 1048-A and other copies of itself by calling a staff member to give the transformation swep.

A GOI has breached you out of containment and take you to Gate A, they tell you to come with them, what do you do?: Ask them in /looc if they have senioradmin+ perm, or ask staff perm myself in /ooc or using @. If I don't get perms then i'll just go back in the foundation but if I get permission then I'll go with them and follow them on the surface and do what they tell me to do, unless they die or abandon me, in which case I can roam the surface freely.

Have you read the rules of SCP-RP, and do you understand them?:
I have read and understand them.

Have you read the rules of SCP-096, and do you understand what you can and cannot do? Demonstrate your understanding*
I have read the rules that apply to SCP 096, and understand that they are used to allow for good RP and also keep RPing as the humanoid fun. One of these examples is that you are not allowed to sit inside of your containment chamber facing the chamber door so that people have no choice but to see your face. Not only does it mean that you are unfairly giving reasons to go around killing people, but it also ruins the experience for people genuinely wanting to enjoy RPing as whatever job that comes in contact with it. It also applies with lore that the SCP wouldn't stare at the door, as when it is not sat hunched in the corner of its containment chamber, it is pacing the eastern most wall.
Another rule that must be followed is to not use the Level 5 key card that you are given to minge or give your friends the upper hand in a situation. This could be seen being done in ways such as opening your own containment chamber door, or using your key card to aid people with getting access to areas, such as helping Chaos Insurgency who capture you get into areas using the card.
Another key rule is that you must go for your first target (SCP 096-1) before going for the other SCP 096-. This is because in lore, the creature heads for the first person who saw his face, before then returning to kill anyone else that did. This must be done on the server, and you must not avoid going for your first -1 just so that you can get extra people looking at your face. It also ruins the RP if it is just a constant slaughter with no chance of re containment. Chain killing is only permitted if your SWEP says that people saw your face during you breaching at first, but common sense should also be applied too. Such as, if you can see that someone hasn't actually looked at your face, or was busy in a Staff sit and saw it, or any other reason, logic says that you shouldn't kill them.
Overall the rules keep the role play enjoyable and stop this powerful SCP from being abused.

Are you able to play SCP-096 often when the job is not full, and give good RP to other players who encounter you?:
I am on the server basically every day for many hours of the day. And if this job was not occupied while I was on, I would jump to join the job. SCP 096 can give some great role play for the whole server, especially security personnel and those who are there to contain him such as Containment Specialists and Epsilon 11. I enjoy playing as E11 due to the role play that can come from all SCPs but especially 096. This is because I am usually on his checkpoint making sure that the site rules for this SCP are adhered to. And when it comes to breaching, it is good to see everyone working together to try and re contain the SCP. All of the people who are whitelisted for 096 role play him well, and give us all a good time trying to re contain him. And I have constantly think what must it be like being 096 on this server. It just seems really enjoyable and enables really good rp. He is also my favourite SCP because there is so much lore surrounding him and it has been fully fleshed out. And I believe I can use what I have learned from the server and his lore to give good Role play to other players. I would make sure that people who see my face would be hunted down and killed in the order they have seen my face. And then when it is all done I would sit on the body of the last person who saw me and wait to either be re contained or take down another target if required.

What is the Containment Procedure for SCP-096?*(Explain in full detail)
When SCP 096 breaches, the first priority is to try and Identify who the -1 is and clear the path to him of personnel, however if this cannot be done, everyone is to look at a wall and avoid visual contact with the SCPs face. From there, the Containment Specialists and MTF E11 should be called in to re contain the scp. In many cases, they will also try to find the -1 to terminate them in order to avoid 096 seeing any more people than needed. When SCP 096 has terminated his target or targets, the containment team must move towards the SCP (who should now be sat down weeping) with their back turned in order to prepare for re containment. A member of a containment unit must approach the SCP from behind and apply the containment cuffs. This places a bucked over his head and allows you to lead him back to his chamber. During transit, the area must be cleared so that he can be quickly returned to his chamber without obstruction. 096 should be placed in the corner of his chamber and released from his cuffs, preferably with someone ready to close the door, however this is not always applicable.
During this containment procedure, many things can go wrong. For example, personnel have been known to try and release 096 from his cuffs during transport to his chamber. In this situation, Arrest or Termination is applied to prevent a re breach. Other times, 096 may get contained into his chamber, but he has been contained before he has killed all of his targets. When this occurs, it is not uncommon for him to burst right back out of containment in hunt of his target, causing a re breach. From this you must rinse and repeat the containment process for the SCP. When it comes to a breach of containment of SCP 096, it takes priority over anything due to how much damage the SCP can cause (It is believed in lore that he could cause a XK Class End of the world situation) and anyone who purposely tries to hinder this must be dealt with.
There is an issue of scp 096 also repeatedly rebreaching due to a photo of him appearing. When this happens, finding the photo and destroying it becomes a top priority during 096's containment attempts. This is so that others cannot view the photo.

During research, a Class D looks at your face and manages to escape the Containment Chamber, he runs towards the Entrance Zone. What is your course of action while chasing 096-1, and what do you do once you have killed them?*:
Killing SCP 096-1 is my top priority no matter where he goes whether it is the EZ, the Surface. Whatever. He has looked at SCP 096's face and therefore is not allowed to live. I would use the level 5 key card to bypass any doors that get in my way, and head towards the -1 so that I may kill them. During this time, if anyone else looks at my face, I would come back to kill them once I had killed my first -1, killing the earliest person to see my face to the last person who saw my face. Once they where all dead, I would wait sat down on the location of my last victim, facing the same way that they died and wait to either be re contained or kill more people if they decide to look at my face. If my -1 has been terminated before I reach them, I will sit on the floor right where I am and wait to be re contained.

While chasing 096-1, you pass a researcher, Class D and a MTF unit who all look at your face accidentally. Once you kill the current 096-1, you go back and find them, then proceeding to kill them also. Is this good RP and why?*:
This is good RP because it follows the lore of the SCP and can also mix things up a bit, due to people being in varying parts of the map, allowing for a fun Containment breach that can be enjoyed by others too and role played out well. I would make sure to kill my 096-1 first, and then try to locate the next -1 who saw my face, going in the order of which I saw them. SCP 096 is not believed to be sentient in a way that would allow him to choose not to attack certain people, so whoever looks at my face, dies. This job of locating and recognising those who see my face is made easier by the SWEP, which does these jobs for you. However it has been known to pick up on people looking at your face even though you yourself can see that they haven't. This is where logic needs to be applied as it can just lead to an unfair and unfun slaughter, which ruins the RP experience for people.

Overall, the method of making sure to kill everyone who sees your face in an orderly manner, from earliest to latest, while also being fair when you know the SWEP is bugging out, is good role play and really enjoyable for myself and other people.

If SCP-096 bag had come off or if some Escapee Class d ran past and grabbed it, as E-11 or CS would you chase the class d or proceed on to recontain SCP-096?*
If a Class D was to take the bag off of 096 face, my first priority would still be to re contain SCP 096 as he is a much bigger threat. A D class can be located and terminated fairly easy, however an SCP can be very hard to deal with and re contain, especially 096. So yes, I would make sure that me and the rest of E11 and the CS get 096 re contained and secured within his chamber, before then locating the D Class who removed his face cover and punish them accordingly.

A GOI has managed to enter the facility, and they open your Containment Chamber to cuff you and take you out of the facility, one of them looks at your face but tells you it was an accident, and you can just ignore it. What should you do? Why?*:
I would kill them. They looked at my face, and therefore they have to be killed. 096 doesn't care about if you looked at his face accidentally or not, the Chaos Insurgency member would become SCP 096-1 and would have to be killed. It would also be me breaking the rules if I didn't kill them because I would be fail breaching, and completely ignoring the fact that they had looked at me. From there I would sit down on the floor after killing them and wait to be re contained by Foundation Personnel or recaptured by the other Chaos Members.

Anything else you may need to tell people reading this application:
Thank you for reading it...now I know that most people don't trust me with the WL because Ronald Chapman = Minge ( For most people atleast ) But I can take shit seriously. Just give me a chance...that's all I'm asking for 🙂

SCP-096 Lore Description

Object class

Euclid

Sentient & Violent

SCP-096 is a humanoid creature measuring approximately 2.38 meters in height. Subject shows very littlmuscle mass, with preliminary analysis of body mass suggesting mild malnutrition. Arms are grossly out of proportion with the rest of the subject's body, with an approximate length of 1.5 meters each. Skin is mostly devoid of pigmentation, with no sign of any body hair.

SCP-096's jaw can open to four (4) times the norm of an average human. Other facial features remain similar to an average human, with the exception of the eyes, which are also devoid of pigmentation. It is not yet known whether SCP-096 is blind or not. It shows no signs of any higher brain functions, and is not considered to be sapient.

SCP-096 is normally extremely docile, with pressure sensors inside its cell indicating it spends most of the day pacing by the eastern

wall. However, when someone views SCP-096's face, whether it be directly, via video recording, or even a photograph, it will enter a stage of considerable emotional distress. SCP-096 will cover its face with its hands and begin screaming, crying, and babbling incoherently. Approximately one (1) to two (2) minutes after the first viewing, SCP-096 will begin running to the person who viewed its face (who will from this point on be referred to as SCP-096-1).

Approximately one (1) to two (2) minutes after the first viewing, SCP-096 will begin running to the person who viewed its face (who will from this point on be referred to as SCP-096-1).

Documented speeds have varied from thirty-five (35) km/h to ███ km/h, and seems to depend on distance from SCP-096-1. At this point, no known material or method can impede SCP-096's progress. The actual position of SCP-096-1 does not seem to affect SCP-096's response; it seems to have an innate sense of SCP-096-1's location. Note: This reaction does not occur when viewing artistic depictions (see Document 096-1).

Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-096 is to be contained in its cell, a 5 m x 5 m x 5 m airtight steel cube, at all times. Weekly checks for any cracks or holes are mandatory. There are to be absolutely no video surveillance or optical tools of any kind inside SCP-096's cell. Security personnel will use pre-installed pressure sensors and laser detectors to ensure SCP-096's presence inside the

cell.

SCP-096 In Game Containment Procedure

1.  If SCP-096 has breached his Containment Chamber, due to some malfunction with his door, or something went wrong during Testing everyone who isnt E-11 or CS must leave the room without looking at his face.

2. When everyone has evacuted the room safely without incident, E-11 or CS must be called to deal with the situation when they arrive they will open the door with there backs turned and begin to walk backwards till they walk into a obstacle.

3. When they have found themselves either near to SCP-096 or beside him they must carefully begin the procedure slowly to make sure they dont make a mistake.

4. They will begin by slowly taking a plastic bag or something that completely covers SCP-096 fix completely, they may also blindfold him if completely needed, when they have put a bag on him and tied to make sure it cant come off, they then use the red Elastic Cuffs to be able to drag SCP-096 back to his containment chamber.

5. As they are dragging SCP-096 back they must also be careful if cases where SCP-096 isnt near his containment chamber when he has breached depending on where he had killed his 096-01, that people around them may try to take the back off in Roleplay situation depending if they are were CI also

6. When SCP-096 has been dragged back into his cell you must firstly remove his cuffs, and after that has been done you must face backwards and do /me in game to take off his bag then you must walk out of the containment chamber with your back to the containment chamber till its doors are shut completely.

P.S Only E-11 or Containment Specialists or any GOI can cuff SCP-096, But only foundation personal who have Clearance Card Level 3 or higher may bag the SCP-096

∙  SCP-096 is able to run at super speed when you click on your swep when also holding sprint as it can allow you to help catch your 096-01

∙  To enable SCP-096 screaming effect/sounds, you must first click onto the swep you use to kill with then if you right click you will get the sounds that SCP-096 makes, the sound effects is also on a tiny cooldown so it cant be spammed nonstop.

∙  Now you can use first person for SCP-096 to roleplay in, but its most adviseable to use 3rd person as it can allow you the ablity to see around you, so you dont accidentally kill someone who had not look upon your face.

∙  The playermodel that is used for SCP-096 is weirdely made and as its so tall, the hitbox for the playermodel can be quite glitchy at times, so when you are cuffed and put back in your cell for some players it can be extremely difficult to get undone so you can either call staff for the person struggling or you can tell him its near your feet where your hands are.

∙  You may not kill any other SCPs

Rules

∙  Do not go on a Massive killing spree at all, even if someone was encouraging you to do it.

∙  When playing SCP-096, you must not forcefully use your Level 5 Clearence Card to open your containment chamber, only use it when your chasing your 096-01 and nothing else.

∙  If you have PAC3 and decide to use your camera to see outside your cc chamber that is also against the rules of the server so please dont do it.

∙  When inside your containment chamber you must not be sitting down staring right upoo the door as that can be seen as a fail breach as your purposely staring there, so always look to a wall or a corner.

∙  If you were 096 and you were roleplaying with your friend as well this does not mean beacsue he is your friend that if he had looked at your face, this doesnt grant him to stay alive if he has looked at your face you must kill him otherwise it is failRP.

∙  When you have killed your 096-01 you must sit down exactly where you have killed him, and you cannot not purposely move yourself around to try and catch people looking at your face.

∙  If someone was purposely trying to breach you from your containment chamber, you must report this to staff as it is classed as a rule break of the server.

∙  Make sure when a player has looked directly at you, that they are actually looking at you, as sometimes it can be accidental when you have killed someone who you may of throught looked at you.

∙  Make sure when you are chasing your 096-01 that you dont accidentally kill someone else while you are clicking your swep weapon( Can happen a lot)

Anything else you may need to tell people reading this application:

Since this thread was first created, the SCP-096 swep has been changed and edited to more sufficient in game and more realistic for the players.

1st. To begin with SCP-096 is no longer able to run at an infinite amount of speed as he now has a set speed even when you hold his swep, as this helps players to better control and get themselves used to being 096 because as proven by many past mistakes that people have been accidentally killed because players moved too fast in able to avoid killing as such.

2nd. With this new SWEP update it also brings along a new system where it can alert you to people who have looked at you're face directly and so this after you have been alerted to someone looking at your face in the bottom right hand corner, that will vanish but in these screenshots below no matter how far you are away you're name if people had looked at the face then as you can see below.
