Why should we pick you? (250 word minimum): I believe that I should be chosen to join the SCP-RP staff team due to the following reasons:

 

I am a friendly player who loves good RP and just wants to enforce it to ensure that everyone gets the experience that they would like. I understand that I have not met the entire community so I will explain what I am like ingame. Whilst ingame I enjoy playing a series of roles within the foundation and outside. Some I prefer the most are Researcher and MTF E11. I also enjoy playing as SCP’s and D Class personnel from time to time. I enjoy having a laugh around some of the time however I prefer to roleplay as I find more enjoyment doing that.

 

I love to help players out and talk to them in an understanding and friendly tone and talk to them as I would like myself to be talked to. I have a firm understanding of the map and the rules within the server so would be able to help players with the facts they want and require without waffling on and wasting their time. 

 

I would like to think of myself as trustworthy and mature. Due to the current pandemic, I have a lot of time on my hands in which I have used to play on the server. All of my classes are currently online and most of the time they only take up to 2 hours of my day max. I believe that I am confident in meeting new people and understanding them.

 

Although I have not been staff before I am keen to learn and I would love to be able to start at such an experienced team such as yourselves. I have no problems with anger so I would always be able to conduct myself in a friendly and serious tone without sounding angry. 

 

How long will you be able to play per day?: Per day I believe I would be able to play 3-7 hours a day due to Covid. 

 

Any past experience as staff?: Not currently no

 

Any previous warns/bans? If so why? (maximum of 15 warns, exceptions can be made.): I have no warnings or bans

Do you know what SCP-RP is about? (not just job descriptions):

 

SCP-RP is based on the wiki page. Within SCP-RP there are several roles within the foundation that anybody can do ranging from MTF to a Cafeteria Worker. The site in which the server is based on Site 19 which is directly under OvisCity in which player can RP as civilians or decide to join the fully functioning police force in which they have. 

 

The foundation’s main aims are to contain SCP’s and ensure that the public find nothing out about them. Whilst SCP is in containment the foundations aim is to find out as much as they can about them. They do this by getting Class D to enter their containment chamber (CC)  some of the time due to Class D being test subjects. Due to each SCP being dangerous in its own way the foundation put them into categories which are: Safe (easily and safely contained), Euclid (difficult to contain and not fully understood), Keter ( Very difficult to contain, and containing them is complex) and Thaumiel (SCP’s used to contain other SCP’s)

 

Players are also able to join GOI (Group of interest) who are able to either be friendly with the foundation or hostile eg, Chaos Insurgency. There are also several MTF (Mobile Task Force) teams in which players can join. Beta-7 are a containment unit whose main job is to contain SCP’s, E-11 are a combatant and containment unit who contain and go to the surface when requested and authorized to, NU-7 are a combative unit whose main job is to defend the foundation and finally, A-1 whose job is to protect more important individuals within the foundation such as the 05-Council. 

 

Do you understand the rules of SCP-RP(1 word is not an answer).: I understand all of the rules and I will now list some to show that I know them.

 

RDM: This is when somebody kills somebody else for no valid IC reason. With no roleplay intention.

 

Breaking Fear RP: When somebody is in cuffs and has a gun pointing at them and they decide to break out of the cuffs.

 

DTS: Disrespect to staff

 

LTAP: This is leaving to avoid punishment and usually happens when a player knows that they are in trouble and may get punished.

 

MetaGaming: This is when a player knows something they would never be able to know if it were real. For example, a D Class knowing about the types of SCP’s.

 

RDA: This is random arrest and happens when players go around cuffing or arresting people randomly for example when a security officer has another officer cuffed because he refused to listen to his orders and continued what they were doing.

 

NLR: When a player is killed they must not return to the place where they died for 5 minutes and they cannot remember any information they had before death.

 

I have read through these rules several times and understand and follow them to the best of my ability.

Your playtime is just above the required, and you aren't known to the community and we don't know if you are trusted.

Otherwise a good application. I would suggest spending more time in the server and gaining some reputation before re-applying

I will be upfront with you, I do not think you have what it takes to make the cut at this time.

The community has a small/vague idea of who you are. This of course must change to an extent. 

We must learn how you act, deal with situations and how well you know your stuff when it comes to this.

I do trust in you to show yourself a bit more, get to know more people and set a good reputation out there.
