What are some typical CT duties?

I'm new to the server and was wondering slapped down as a clone trooper without knowing really what I'm supposed to do on the server. I know how to act when it comes to emergency situations due to the orientation, but when Defcon 5 is in effect what are the typical duties of a CT in base?
What enemies should we keep an eye open for?
Where would they come from on the map?
Are we supposed to salute Jedi?

If someone could help me out by answering this that would be awesome.

Ok so

During defcon 5, you as a CT can attend CT trainings hosted by a CPL+ for marching trainings, which are marching ariund the base or outside sometimes. And normal trainings (breaching,aim,basic etc) hosted by a CT 2ND LT

You can also tryout for another regiments. If you like sniping then join GC, if you like healing then 74th, etc. 

Simply ask in OOC or in advert using /advert in game for a tryout and people will quickly reply to you and give you one

Well, there´s also more things you can do on Defcon 5. I will firstly answer the question "Do we need to salute to Jedi". You are supposed to salute to Knight+ as an ET but as you rank up, you dont have to salute to as many Jedi. So just look for the names Jedi Knight, Jedi Senior Knight and then any name execept Initiate, apprentice or padawan. You can always ask other people when you rank up who you are supposed to salute to. 

But when it comes to other things to do when you´re a CT on Defcon 5. There can be open trainings hosted by mostly battalion members or high ranking people in other regiments. Just keep an eye on OOC when people type things like "Open training in LHB" which can in some cases if hosted by a battalion member lead to reccomendations which can help with your promotions. It´s also just something else to do if no one is hosting a training.

You can also be in the bar listening to some music and socialise with other people. Running around and just talking to other people can also be intresting. Just make sure you dont leave main base. You can also go to the medbay to get a checkup by a 74th which means you can say you have a broken arm, internal bleeding and a 74th member (The medics of the base) can fix you right up. It´s at least something else to do.
