We are taking careful consideration when it comes to initial IC and OOC rankings, considering past experience / current ranks (to determine who goes where), while also considering factors relating if they do have current ranks, if they do swap can they be replaced / would it damage their current regiment etc. If that factor is a yes, then as much as they might be a good candidate, they are passed over for a high IC rank on IRP to avoid the issue of people struggling to keep commitments to both, and that is why we have Admiralty so far being past Admiralty with experience, and the current commanders being ex-leaders of these areas with experience / current CWRP members of like CO / SO positions, who can as previously said, be taken without serious harm to the regiment that they currently are in.

I feel as if a lot of older people from CWRP may swap over to IRP to either try something new and fresh or for a chance for a new high rank due to their experience. I hope not but it does feel likely that, even with SMT/CAT intervention, IRP may leech some of the CWRP playerbase although it could just be for the short term.

I mean I don't know if you mean "older people" as in older more experienced / older IRL age / or like older as in playtime what sorta goes with the 1st, but I mean I do know of people wanting "a fresh start" or "wanting to use their experience to help IRP" but as I said in the 1st comment, if they are in current high positions where they are key to the running of an area, then their wishes are not above the running and functionality of CWRP. 

I mean the statement of "IRP may leech some of the CWRP playerbase although it could just be for the short term.", is definitely true, that's the case for any community, any server release, people from CWRP, SCP, WW2 will go and have a look at the new server. Some might stay, some will simply return, we are obviously taking the 1st steps to fill regiments with people, in which people can obviously apply and tryout for, but in the end we aren't going to crucially risk the integrity of CWRP with this people joining areas.

TBF, its quite reassuring that something is being done to prevent either server from cannibalising the other and like i say, it'll probably only be for the short term anyway so it should be alright.
