What is GRU Division "П"? Describe in your own words:

GRU-P is a branch of the Soviet military tasked with investigating anomalies.
It was founded in Stalinist Russia to look into the assassination of Kirov, who was said to have been slain by a construct-invasive reality discrepancy.
Following the inquiry, GRU-P was employed to benefit the USSR by exploiting the anomaly.
The group also learned about western countries, which conducted significantly more investigation into the strange than they did.
Despite the fact that many members of GRU-P have gone after the Soviet Union's disintegration, there are still individuals who seek to continue on the group's heritage.

What are this group's main purposes, objectives and goals?:

The main goals of GRU-P have shifted over time.
The first step was to look into Sergei Kirov's death.
Following that, it was to defend the country from strange threats from the German SS throughout WWII.
Following WWII, the group's principal objectives were to capture and study anomalous beings in order to further their knowledge and stay ahead of the Western world.
