Denied Revamp Legion Ranks

I've found that recently far too many gmod servers use the same exact thing for legions regarding how they operate. considering the fact that most of them if not all of them prefer to use officers for mostly everything

and how they usually rank restrict medical jobs or something similar.

They should be operated like so

Brigadier General (leads the legion)

Company Commander (Second in command)

Executive Officers (Usually lead the squads or mainline duties for the legion)

Minor Officers ( Help train and do most duties for the legion)

Squad #1 - Best of the best must have rank restriction.

Squad#2 - Decent but not too bad.

Squad#3 - A squad for people to learn things and advance into the other squads.

Trooper

Trainee - Only in ARC, Clone guard and important divisions should have a trainee rank.

The main reason why I suggest this is because having squads is one of the most enjoyable thing about legions. having it just be mostly officers is just annoying.

literally no need and sounds like shit - people having superiority complexes on a garrys mod server is bad enough as is but having squads for "better" or "more skilled" people would make it way worse

Not only would this be incredibly annoying to implement, but it is not needed. As Shepherd said the system we have works perfectly fine there is no need to replace it with something, where to rank up you would acually need to be good at combat, which just sounds like a bad idea all around. We have something instead for it which is ARC if you are good at combat just try to go for ARC. I don't like being force to get better at fighting as for some that is just not possible due to lag.

if you want to be in a squad then join ARC and get RC or join 104th cause they have squads from what i can see, this is just unneeded

We have a structure and breaking it now after all this time will build up confusion among the players. Also the structure we have right now works great no need to change it.

This would be too much effort to coordinate. Some people already have a hard enough time trying to give regimental commands while listening to Batt's orders. Events are usually too fast paced for this, by the time the "Brigadier General" gave out commands to the squads they would have to turn around and do it again.
