How long were you banned for: Banned from discord for about a month, banned off the server today. Name of the staff member who banned you: I am not entirely sure, I think his name was Grand something Why do I believe that I should be unbanned: So basically I believe I got banned in late June (I have a forum submitted below as to why, its called unban me pls) So I haven't joined today since I thought I was perma banned for apparent "advertising", when I believe I wasn't (Also explained why in forum below). I will also state I was not 100% sure if I was banned from the actual server, but I was kicked off the IRP discord anyway) Basically I load in and talk to some boys in OOC. One of the lads asks me "how is the other server going?" since me and my friend fot who were high ranking STs pre update, were making a WW2 RP server and some of the boys knew / were invited to last time (I believe that was the reason for my first ban.) Basically I respond with "Yeah its going good, me and Fot are working hard on it hopefully it can be created soon). 1 minute later, I was banned for over 27 years for apparent "Advertising". I am greatly confused as to why since I find this impossible to be referred to as "Advertising". I am starting to get frustrated with this as I responded to a question with a simple answer, and find myself terminated. I made no effort whatsoever to advertise and by no means I joined the server to do so. I simply wanted to get back into a community I loved and played for months in early 2022. I find this so be partially insulting that I am being treated with no response so can an admin please respond to this forum, whether this was from my first "offence" when all I did was reach out to a few friends I made on IRP, or this time when I get banned for responding to a question, all I want is an answer as I am very new to SWRP and fell deeply annoyed from this act as and I am sorry if I overstepped but I was given no warning or anything if I was stepping into an area of advertising, which in my honest opinion, is poor administration coming from the admins as I am new to RP style and get no warning if I am in the wrong, which I can see will only turn away potential new players. But I will say all I did was talk briefly talk about a foreign server and this is how I get treated? Banned for "advertising"? As I said I love this community here and I do really want to join back, I truly love how you boys have updated the server and created a warm community, as I have never felt strife towards any admin before however I fell as though I am being left in the dark here, with no response or warning to my ban. I am sorry for the long paragraph and my anger in the paragraph above but I really just want this to be addressed. Whether it is good or bad news in regard to me being allowed back, can I just please receive an answer boys, I have put over 120 hours into the server and I don't want this to end like this were I get perma banned with no response as to why. I put over 120 hours into IRP and was an ST Captain just before the update, so I am greatly affected by this act so please lool over this ban. Evidence: This is what i sent- me n fot are basically making a WW2 Military RP server and since u are one of the lads we were wondering if you would come on for the craic We would give u an admin position and if u do join, you can choose any regiment u want in the role-request text channel and depending on already standing player count in that regiment, you would get a hierarchy position. I will also note that the server is no where near creation as of now and is more of an idea.
