If this is roughly how the scenario went, I don't believe it should've been a ban and let alone a warning, a verbal at most. This seems like a friendly interaction between 2 friends which has been misinterpreted as advertising. I feel like the staff member should've at least brought him to a staff room and if he truly did believe it was advertising, mute them before doing so as then they can no longer advertise for the time being while explaining themselves. +1

Why did you get banned?: I was banned a year ago I don't really remember. I assume it was for minging cuz that's what I was doing back then.

Why do you deserve to be unbanned?: Honestly, I don't. The ban was valid and I deserved it. I am asking for forgiveness and second chance. I did my time and I've changed my ways.
