I believe giving the ban some time before appealing would be good.
I'm not certain on why Barry banned you for that, but he never does stupid stuff, so I believe you did a bit more than that.
The fact people say those racial slurs/nazi things is punishable, we punish them whenever we can, though, it's not possible for us to catch ALL the people saying it, but as I said, whenever we hear it we warn people/ban them.

I've seen dozens of people say sieg heil (nazi victory chant) and the N-word and not get banned or warned whatsoever, even if a ban is warranted for saying nonce, which isn't really a bad word, a perma is WAY over-kill for a petty insult like nonce

Explain the situation of your ban from your point of view in detail: i walked over to three people 2 army guys and a criminal and the criminal put me at gun point in the middle of the street and tried to cuff me and because it was in the middle of the street I thought it wasn't allowed and it was against the rules to do it in a public space so anyways I ended up just walking away.
Do you think your ban was justified: not really as I haven't played the game in a long time I think they should've took into consideration that it was one of my first times on in eight months 
Why should you be unbanned: I believe I should be unbanned because as I said previously i hadnt played properly in eight months or so march I think was when I properly played last

: yes i am his mate but that doesn't mean i cant give my unbiased opinion on the matter, As yes he was running as a civ in the event but i still think there should be a ss of logs or a recording of him as it was a 5 day ban and it'll help to prove and validate this ban as you have said and i quote " there is several witnesses to what happened"    I think  These People should reply to this and explain what they have seen or if any of them have a recording of this incident and if there is proper evidence then a 5 day ban would be suitable, but until that happens i dont think it should be a 5 day ban because at this point its ur word against his with no evidence, the only type of evidence that we know there could be atm is these "witnesses" but none have replied to this to back up ur statement. (And to anyone who thinks this me just being biased i can tell u its not but  if u want to believe me or not its up to u, I just know that i wouldn't want a longer ban for something i didn't do)
