    Ontop of this, as you can see in the clip you can see both Fot and Herman Halms both were speaking OOC in IC chat, as you can see in the clip whilst we raid he says "call a sit on them" in voice chat which is FailRP. Disrupting RP as a raid is going on.

    NSD - Neglecting Staff Duties

    I had applied for a raid whilst Barring was in jail. The only staff who could've taken that sit was Moritz Brunner who decided to deliberately prevent RP and not take the sit whatsoever, seeing him sat in a Mercedes where he could've gotten out, and taken the sit, he decided not to. After his death, he had another opportunity to take the sit, after me making the same one multiple times due to him not taking it whatsoever. On top of this, another sit was made and he decided to take that one over mine, even though that sit was just made and mine was waiting there for a rough 15 minutes.

    State the role of staff on the server: The role of a staff member is to make sure that RP is running smoothly and that the rules set by SMT are not to be broken by anyone. Staff should punish any person that is breaking server rules by following the staff punishment guide. They are to make sure that the server is actually enjoyable for the players and that they enjoy good RP without any misbehaviour with the rules.

    Give some historical context about the time the server is set in (75 words+):  The server's time and place is set in the summer of Berlin, 1941. This is near the beginning of the second world war as in this year commences The Fuhrer of the Third Reich, Adolf Hitler launching Operation Barbarossa which was Germany's surprise attack on the Soviet Union which began in the summer of 1941. In 1941, Japan bombs Pearl Harbour which leads to the United States and Britain to declare war on Japan after the United States joined the allied forces.

    Have you read the server rules and are familiar with them? Yes I am.

    Have you read the punishment list ( Punishment List v3.0 ) and are familiar with it? Yes I am quite familiar with this system as I used to be staff on NRP and I have gone through both punishment lists of HLRP and NRP and they are both very similar.

    Former Staff Questions (Leave these blank if you have not been staff on our server before):

    1) For how long were you a staff member on WW2-NRP/ORP? Around 6/7 Months

    2) What rank did you reach before leaving the staff team? I was Moderator for around 6 months and Senior EP when it was part of Staff.

    3) Were you demoted or did you resign? Why? I resigned due to not having enough time and wanting to take a break from the server itself

    4) In hindsight, what would you have done differently as a staff member? I would have put more time into stuff such as SOD however I was constantly putting most my effort and energy into EP. This time I can focus on staff as I am no longer staff.

    5) How have you improved since you left the staff team? I have been using ULX on other servers of the community such as star wars so I still have knowledge and I'm still skilled with the use of ULX. I have also learnt to manage my time better on the server so I can be as useful as possible to the staff team.


    Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

    1) You are told by a player in admin chat that another player is randomly killing people: I would go to the player and see if there was anyone killing randomly I would bring him to a rooftop outside of any RP and freeze him to prevent him from RDM'ing in a sit. However if it already happened then I would check the logs to see if it was an RDM. If it was unclear in the logs I would ask if they had any video evidence to back their point. If it was a new player that had RDM'd I would warn him and tell him to read through the rules before joining back and I would proceed to kick him. However, if it was a new player who already has had a Tier I RDM warn then I would give him a 1 day ban depending on how many bans he has had or if he even has had any. However if it was purely crossfire and it was clear that it was crossfire I would not punish the player.

    2) You are asked by a player about how to become a Third Reich official: I would ask the member what branch in the Third Reich he would like to join, i.e SS, Wehrmacht, NSDAP. If he was unsure I would go through in depth what each branch does and the regiments inside i.e 1.SS, OrPo, Gestapo, SD, Caesar, Bruno, FG, NSDAP, SA. I would explain what each does in the server and how to join, i.e 1.SS you need to buy VIP/Platinum VIP, Gestapo you need to be picked for an interview by them, OrPo you can go on Polizei Anwarter via the F4 menu or /police cadet. I would then ensure they get a trainer if there is one available if they have been waiting for a while.

    3) You catch somebody not performing RP and that are messing around: This can depend on what the user is actually doing but if it was something like running around out of spawn or an OOC area with a physgun or bunny hopping I would bring them to a rooftop and explain to them by running around with a physgun or bunny hopping it is Fail RP and I would proceed to warn them.

    4) Somebody acquires a rank but is not willing to RP with it properly: If this is seen as more of an IC thing then I would not do anything except if he was breaking server rules. I ask him if he knew what he was doing was wrong if he was a new player or he didn't know I would verbally warn him, however if he was not willing to RP continuously would issue a NITRP ban.

    5) A player is prop spamming: I would instantly kick them from the server to prevent them from putting any more props down and proceed to permanently ban the user for an attempt to crash the server.


    Answer the following questions in detail:

    1) Explain the difference between Tier I rule-breaking and punishments and Tier II rule-breaking and punishments: A Tier I rule breaking is when someone has either unintentionally broken the rule or a new player and other things along those lines. However a Tier II is when someone repeatedly breaks this rule or intentionally breaks this rule. Normally Tier II warnings can result in bans.

    2) Explain the difference between IC and OOC. Also define Meta Gaming:  IC is when you're engaging in an RP scenario such as a patrol around the city, this means you're roleplaying as whatever character you are. However, OOC is just talking normally and being outside of Roleplay such as in Spawn or in a Staff Sit. Metagaming is when you take information you've gathered to take In Character which is considered FailRP.

    3) Explain the difference between Serious RP and Semi-Serious RP: Serious RP is when when rules are broken they will be enforced properly such as talking OOC in an IC area. However, Semi-Serious is when the rules aren't enforced as much and the staff are much more lenient such as certain things that might be FailRP.

    4) Define PassiveRP and explain it's role and importance in a serious RP gamemode: Passive RP builds character in a player and can play a very big part in the server's RP. Especially since the server is kind of like a city RP there needs to be an element of passive RP otherwise its just a TDM. It can build up stories in RP and is just as important as combat as either can have a very big impact in RP and in a character's RP.

    5) Define the term of Combat Baiting: Combat baiting is when somebody purposely gets themselves into combat just to kill someone by getting away with RDM/ARDM so example would be a mafia member running up to an OrPo member, doing something to cause them to get arrested and kill the person.

I have great knowledge and experience with ULX and the rules due to my long playtime on the server and on Garry's Mod itself (sadly 6k hours). I have been playing on NRP for almost 2 years so I know what I am

    Explain the situation of your warning from your point of view in detail: I was brought to a sit where I got warned for "DTS" because I "raised my voice" to Richter. He decides to bring me back after I post my staff abuse thread and unwarn request and just warn me for "Ignoring Staff". Apparently me speaking my side of isn't allowed but the other man in the sit was allowed to. Nobody else was really speaking besides me and him and he kept saying that it seemed like "metagaming" so I decided to explain how it wasn't. This man wouldn't listen one bit whatsoever and decide that because I spoke and wanted to explain how it wasn't metagaming he decides to shout at me and complain and warn me twice for things I have not done. I know when I have done something wrong and this isn't and instance where I have.

    Do you think your warning was justified: No.

    Why should you be unwarned:  I didn't "speak over" him. He finished his piece and I spoke but apparently I'm not allowed to speak to explain why the opposing side was in the wrong. Not once did the staff member in question listen to anything I had said.

    What did the reported staff member do to abuse their power / break server rules: Warning me twice for multiple things that I didn't do. Bringing me back to a 1 on 1 sit just to argue with me. Refusing to return me after bringing me outside of a sit. When admitting to him wrong doings he didn't seem to care not seem to be bothered after it was his fault on how he handled the sit in such a sloppy matter. I was not allowed to speak at all in a sit that directly involved me and when I spoke it was considered "DTS" he didn't feel in the wrong remotely whatsoever until 2 staff members had to tell him. Ontop of this he allowed another member of the community to actually disrespect staff but take no action against it, but me who only "raised my voice" gets a punishment in return which shows somewhat of a bias.

    Explain the situation of your warn from your point of view in detail: I got warned for speaking essentially not once did I DTS which was outlined by Scheppert in a Staff Announcement. The Warn was completely unjustified because I "rose my voice" not once did I insult anyone.

    Do you think your warn was justified: Fuck no.

    Why should you be unwarned: The warn was unjustified I did not harrass anyone or disrespect anyone I literally spoke in a sit that involved me as I was brought by the Staff member which essentially didn't let me even explain my side of the whole thing.
