Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion (100 words minimum):
Battalion are the ones in charge of all ground and air activity at the republic base. Battalion will ensure the base runs smoothly and if any problems does acquire, they are the ones that will solve them swiftly.
Being a member of battalion also comes with great responsibility. As a battalion member, they must remember they are role models for all clone ranks low and higher clone ranks, which means:
- Battalion must act as professionals
- Battalion must set an example
- Battalion must perform excellent
Other than being role models for clones, battalion will lead all clones to victory in planetary assaults or even when CIS or other mercenaries thinks it’s a good idea to attack main base. In the event of an attack, battalion will react quickly and order regiments to their dedicated battlestations.
Over than just ordering clones to their battlestations, will battalion always update their troops with new orders that adapt to the hostile’s tactics, as the following.
- GR has been lost, Defcon 2. All units must go down to GR and recover it – CE will after the recovery repair GR.
- Battalion bunks are lost, all units will be ordered to resecure battalion bunks, since it contains a lot of valuable data.
Battalion also has the role as supervising regiments – this does not mean take other it! Supervise means, the batt member will be the fly on the wall and just listen – if any problems may happen, the battalion member can and will only come with suggestions, no solutions since he is not the one in charge of the regiment. Battalion are expected to give reports of the health of the regiment each week, this report will be given to admirals.
Other than checking the health of the regiment, are the battalion expected to socialize with the regiment, host trainings and work with them on planetary assault and defenses of main base.
Why should we pick you for Battalion (200 words minimum):
The reason I should be picked, is due to my experience, my will to ensure my performance are always on point, my love for helping and my maturity.
As stated before, I have decent experience as hierarchy and battalion, this will mean I know what it means to have responsibility, I know how to act when somebody might cause trouble and I know how to tackle difficult situations.
Back then I was in batt, I really enjoyed my time. However, due to school, work, and staff duties I was simply burned out due to time limitations. I felt like I could not keep my head clear, I could not invest the time I needed in batt and rather the being inactive I took the adult decision to give up batt.
But school for me is done! Therefor I now again have time to roam around the server and spread joy! My love for the server and battalion is ensuring everybody enjoy their time!
- I have a firm belief in everybody should enjoy their time, even as CT’s.
As batt I know I have certain guidelines I most follow, and I 100% agree with them, but how I will ensure people love their time on the server is by good commination, engaging trainings, and my best efforts for active events – as little as possible CG or CE sitting behind, which they sadly did back in my time.
Why I also strive my excellent performance, is simply due to how my mind work – I hate not knowing stuff I should know, and if I don’t know something I will figure it out sooner than later!
As batt or any other ranks, I also enjoy helping people then they need it. I’m a very service minded person therefor I simply like assisting people or teaching people then they are asking for help.
My maturity mainly comes from my age, as I’m 20 I don’t see how mining is fun. Why waste your own time and others for 10 secs of yourself looking dumb? I would much rather have fun joking with people and sharing funny stories, guess I’m old, I guess…
Do you understand that Battalion is a very respectable and disciplined rank? Yes
What do Battalion do during combat, when they are not leading (In detail):
When your batt and not leading the event, you should be fighting with your supervising regiment. However, if the leading battalion orders you to look over a specific regiment, you must obey his orders! All orders the leading battalion give out you must obey even if they are a lower rank than you.
You can never order your supervising regiment or lead them for that matter, you can only or may only come with suggestions if needed.
Also, important to remember, it’s very important to stick to the combat style of the supervising regiment; 41 st supervisors should not be front lining with snipers, or 501 st supervisors should not be in the back line.
- When an batt member are not leading, they can be in the midline or frontline, but should stick to his regiments combat style.
What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted?
1. Host an open SIM or a diffuclt training, this could be an advance breactraing, parkour cause with elements of shooting etc.
2. Lead a planatry event, with or without an voiceamp
3. Lead a planatry event and hold an debreif after - voiceamp must be used
What rank can Battalion Brigadier Promote and Demote up too: They have permission to demote or promote up to captain
