Why do you stand out among other candidates: I think I stand out from other candidates because I have seen use of ULX commands from other staff and have used some of them in my own single player world. As well as this I am always on in the early mornings meaning that I can deal with staff problems that do sometimes happen in the morning. Why should we pick you to staff our server(200 words): Personally, I think that you should pick me for staff because I have had plenty of experience as my Battalion job with people messing around with a lot of the cases of LTARP I have experienced there were no staff on the server at the time. I have over the time in my server watched many staff members ban and warn people and can confidently say that I know many of the reasons and lengths that someone would be banned for. I believe that some people may be deterred due to my age but I think that my IC rank shows that I am mature enough to be trusted with staff powers. Although I have never staffed before on any other servers I do have the knowledge of a lot of the ULX commands, especially the more basic ones that staff spend the vast majority of their time doing while taking claims. I will also put in the hard work and effort that a staff member needs to put in to show that I deserve the spot in Staff and I’m not taking up the spot. I would also make sure that I reach the demands that I have to achieve as staff. Do you understand that if you are unsuitable as a staff member your rank may be removed: Yes I do understand that If a trooper didn’t salute to you, what do you do as a staff member: If a trooper didn’t salute me as an SOD role I would not care because 1 I should be in no clip the majority of time as SOD although if I am in my Battalion role I would remind them that 2nd LT plus should be saluted. You haven’t done your duties as a staff member as much as you should one week, how do you handle this: I would apologies to senior staff members and would give the reason why I did not meet the requirements and would make sure they know that I would meet them the next week. During my time in CT I learnt how it is to successfully lead a large amount of CTs into battle with often minimal casualties, this would be very useful in Battalion because you need to be able to lead the entire server into a battle and be successful. My maturity levels can also be proven by the fact that I have been trusted with Colonel in GC, a rank only given to people who need to be a role model to the other people of the regiment when hierarchy isn’t on. I was even offered the chance to be Trial EXO when Solaire left. Also during my time as GC I have been able to see what a lot of the regiments do when looking down from above meaning that I would know what I am doing when leading every regiment individually. I will also be active and dedicated to the role this is because I’ve wanted to join Battalion since my early days on the server, this would mean that I know the roles and responsibilities of Battalion and I would complete them efficiently and to the best of my ability. Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion: (100 Words - Minimum) There are many different roles and responsibilities of Battalion which increase as the Battalion member climbs through the ranks. At Battalion Officer Cadet and Battalion Officer the Battalion member, with help from their mentor, have to lead various different events and other preparations in order to prepare you for being a 2nd LT. Once the Battalion member reaches 2nd LT the member gets their own regiment to supervise in which they do trainings and give advice and assistance to the regimental hierarchy. Once the Battalion member reaches Battalion Captain as well as supervising their regiment they also become mentors for the new Battalion Officer Cadets and Battalion Officers, they’re aim is to guide them through the various preparations to become a 2nd LT. Once the Battalion member reaches Battalion Command their job them changes from being a regimental supervisor as they become a leader of Battalion it’s self, moderating the new members and assisting the admirals in promotions. What do Battalion do during Combat, when they are not leading? (IN DETAIL) During combat the job of Battalion is to stick with the regiment who he is assigned with and suggest places they could go to. When they are not leading they instead assist the Battalion who is leading with callouts and obviously killing any enemies that may be seen. Most importantly only one person is allowed to use the voice amplifier at a time. What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted as part of his mentoring session? The three things that need to be done are: 1. Leading a base attack 2. Calling and leading a de-brief 3. Leading a training which consists of faces, formations and questions What is the job of the Co-Leader during events? When a Battalion Member are co-leading an event their job is to grant and deny various requests from clones and jedi when the Battalion leading is busy but other than these extra duties they remain doing the same things as before. I think that I have learnt a very important type of leadership, especially for Battalion, during my time on the sever, firstly during my time in CT I learnt how to lead a lot of often incompliant CTs into battle effectively and in the best way to avoid large casualties. I also think that my maturity levels can be justified by my rank currently in GC, being a Colonel you have the entire regiment look up to you when there is no Hierarchy members on and with that idea you have to show yourself to be quite mature, not only this but I was lucky enough to be offered a time is Trial EXO. I also think that I am dedicated to the role of Battalion due to the fact that I have wanted to join it since my early days on the server and that means that I would be active and I would also make sure to carry out to roles and responsibilities that came with it well and to the highest possible quality I can. These change as you climb through the ranks. Firstly, Granting and Denying various requests for all sorts of things. Also, during the first two ranks of Battalion Officer Cadet and Battalion Officer there are a few tasks which must be completed, and guidance and assistance is given from a Battalion Captain+. Once the rank of 2nd Lieutenant is reached each Battalion member is given their own regiment that they are to be the supervisor of, the supervisor is to do various training and offer guidance to all members of the regiment but the most important role is they cannot do the job of the Hierarchy nor can they tell them what to do. Battalion Command is a very large responsibility during this time the roles change completely from it becomes more like regimental Hierarchy, Battalion command is in charge of all of Battalion and are to make sure that everything they do is in order. I am more than willing to learn the ways of Battalion and to give my time to the regiment that I could get. Not only this but I am active and dedicated to the role. I have looked at what the other regiments do and I feel I have a good idea how they work and how most other Battalion lead. I will be prepared to take criticism and build on it. I am serious and do not mess around especially in a serious moment. I would respect everyone. and put my time in for everyone, I would make sure to follow all my roles and responsibilities not just complete them but complete them well and I do try to be somewhat interesting. I can be prepared for any kind of attack and I will always be ready to grant and deny things. Once you reach the rank of Battalion 2nd Lieutenant you are given a regiment to be the supervisor of, your job is to lead trainings and to give advice to the regiment but not to do the job of Hierarchy. Once you get to Battalion Captain although you still have a regiment to supervise you now have a new responsibility, to mentor the brand-new Battalion Officer Cadets and Battalion Officers.
