Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: Yes, Fully Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: Firstly check Blogs for the player to check if the claims are true, if shown they have been killing clones stop them and tell them they are breaking server rules and warn them accordingly 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: Firstly, ask NCO+ to go and train the cadet as is their role, if none go then i would go through the playerbase from NCO to higher ranks and ask them to train cadets bringing them to the cadet room if necessary 3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: If it is clearly only an accident take them to the side and explain to be more careful and give a verbal warning to avoid breaking golden rule in the future explaining how it can lead to further warns 4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: Explain how rules dictate you should salute to higher ranks in the future, a warn is not necessary here but i would make sure they follow this rule in the future 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: Explain to them how despite not being in the official rulebook FailRP is a fairly broad topic and all instances cannot be written down in a document as that would be impossible, once explained check if they have any previous punishments or warns for FailRP offences, if they have been warned for similar things before i would punish them for FailRP if not i would verbally warn them not to do so again now that they understand that the server rules do not include such loopholes 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: If they begin being disrespectful and become more disruptive i can mute/gag them in order to avoid further disruption, then continue to try and diffuse the situation and move past it not letting any personal comments affect me Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I feel that I can fit the role of staff quite well as I am a 'moderately' older player than most meaning my sense of right/wrong and common sense in general is well grounded, I believe I can be very reasonable and understanding especially in cases of upset and/or stress which stems from my personal Irl work which dictates I have experience in dealing with people who may have complaints, questions or issues etc. as well as enforcing rules and regulations of the company which isn't too dissimilar to managing complaints from server members and dealing with problems, whilst my in-game rank (Colonel) isn't the highest out of the other applicants it does mean i do have a degree of responsibility and the respect that comes with it by managing and recruiting new people into the regiment and making sure they understand specific rules that come with the role, my current role as EP also factors into my experience as i am proficient in using ULX, Blogs and other staff related utility tools which would help me with my staff based duties, with these tools as previously stated I have had experience in dealing with claims when staff members haven't been online mostly by giving equipment for trainings or granting cloak/no-clip for people running trainings, I also have helped with dealing with people breaking server rules especially in-regiment for example 'minging', breaking Golden Rule or FailRP with help from members of hierarchy who have Staff roles, in short reporting offences and supplying evidence and going through talks about behaviour and both in character and out of character punishments (strikes, kicks and server warns for example).
