Quick summary about you:

• I am a 18 year old norwegian boy that has a large interest in Star Wars and gaming. I do sadly have a lot of school work and stuff to deal with in my free time, but i still should have enough time for the battalion Job. I would say i am a very nice, energy filled and happy guy, but still someone that isnt afraid of telling people off and punishing when needed. I am starting to enjoy the server again, and i see going battalion as a fresh start that might get me hooked on SWRP again. If you have any questions feel free to ask, and ill give you an answear (either here or in DMs).

What should we pick you fnor Battalion:

• I have been a part of community for a long time, and through this period i have learned a lot of stuff regarding how to lead smaller and larger groups of people, aswell as handing out warnings and punishments.
• I got a lot of experience as a commander that i can use to guide whatever regiment i supervise if it is needed, but i will of course not act as an fourth hierarchy member unless it is requested. 
• I would also concider myself as good with making choices, both regarding tactical situations and situations where people are doing stupid shit. I am not slack about everything but i am not an complete asshole either, i want whats best for everyone and not whats the best for myself. 
• I usually see the good in people, and im not afraid of telling them about what i think either. I prefer complimenting people when i see them doing specific things i want from them, instead of shit talking them for everything i feel like they are doing wrong. It makes them more motivated to peform well, and can often result in better results. I will of course speak out if i see something very poor or dissapointing, but I will try to do it in a manner that makes them want to improve upon themselves instead of loosing motivation and getting frustrated.
• I am used to leading the base, hosting sims, and doing a lot of the typical battalion stuff.

Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion:

• The battalion got multiple highly important roles. The most obvious one is leading the base, which is a wider task then what it seems. This includes everything from dealing with requests, making sure the cadets on the server gets a trainer, and making sure people are getting fair judging by CG.
• You also have a job that consists of leading all the clones on the server during events, and you have to do it in ways that makes sence and is fun for everyone involved (if the EP makes it possible).
• The last important job is supervising regiments, which mainly just consists of making sure people are doing their job, and if they are doing their job correctly within a regiment.
• As a battalion it is important that you try to be a reasonable person that people can look up to, as you are a person people should be comfortable with approaching and asking for help.

Have you ever been demoted, banned or kicked: (If so, explain why): I have never been demoted, banned or kicked.

Do you understand that Battalion is a very respectable and disciplined rank: Yes i do.

What do Battalion do during Combat, when they are not leading?

• When you are not leading, you should stick to the regiment you are supervising, if not ordered otherwise by the event leader. You are not allowed to command anyone around, but you are supposed to aid them with your equipment and you can bring them with you into areas up to CL5 if that is what the regimental commanding officer wishes. If noone from "your regiment" is on, you should play with the same type of playstyle as the regiment you are supervising normally would.

What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted as part of his mentoring session?

1. Lead an successfull event
2. Hold a debrief of decent quality
3. Host a mandatory training that consists of a part with faces, formations and questions.

What is the job of the Co-Leader during events?

• As a battalion co-leader in an event, your main job is aiding the leader by helping him decide on big decisions and helping with granting and/or denying requests.
• If the original event leader dies in action or for some other reasons become unable to lead, you will take over as the main event leader.

This guy basically raised me. Without him, I wouldn't have even stayed on the server for more than 3 days. His leading ability is immaculate and his personality is the same. Had to deal with SEER for so fucking long as well. Although he is currently a low rank and resigned because he didn't have the time anymore to be DU commander, he has been working his way back up and his activity has been alot better. He is one of the best candidates for Battalion. 

He is one of the nicest and level headed people you will meet. He can lay down the authority and also be calm at the same time. Also, one of the most mature people I know.

When Marcus resigned I was contemplating resigning from the server as he was one of the reasons I carried on playing the server when I first joined, as Dyno said he is a born leader and has one of the best personalities on the server. Honestly have so much respect for Marcus and the shit he had to put up with in DU when he was there but now he's back I think he's defiantly  one of if not the best candidate as of now, its just a bummer he applied a little late.

I have heard good things about you and from some interactions with you, you seem like a great guy

However you resigned and you are currently only a CPL so I believe that this time around there are better candidates to become Battalion

 

If you didn't resign from Commander then you would have a better chance however since you resigned I think you should get to a higher rank than CPL to become Battalion. 

 

Good luck though  I'm sure you would be a good Battalion, this just isn't the right time in my opinion

I know my low rank might be concerning for multiple reasons. Those can be that i might have lost compitence and with it confidence in my abilities, that i havent been here enough to be sure if i am willing to dedicate my time into the server, and it can seem like I wont stick around as i havent gotten any high ranks since my resignation. There are probably more aswell, but im guessing these are some of the main ones.

• When it comes to my compitence, I think i am completely fine when it comes to leading, rules and basic and mandatory trainings. Although i have been gone for three months and might be a little bit rusty, it is not to an extent where i will produce trainings and lead events of low quality (in my opinion).
• And when it comes to the activity, words will never show as much as action, and it can be easy to belive i am lying to myself. But when i applied to battalion i knew what i was signing up for, and the reason i applied so late was that i was putting a lot of thought into it, if this would actually work beside school (something i have been experementing with lately). Not only am i very sure i will have enough time for the job, but if i get the job i will of course give it a real shot. I wont do it "just for fun", but more of a way to really get into the community again. Battalion also seems like a way more fun role to have within the server for me, so i dont think it will become a chore, but rather something to look forward to. So except for my holliday trip to norther Norway i dont belive activity will be an issue.
• And when i say im giving it a "real shot", i am not saying i will test it out for a week and just ditch it. I will be staying and trying it out for a while, and if i enjoy it which i think i will i might stay for a very long time. It isnt certain anyone of the people applying will enjoy battalion, it is a very different job, so i dont hope this point gets taken as a negative thing. I belive this is what will get me back into the server for another year-ish like what my commander job did.

 

I am not saying your points are invalid, but i am just speaking about my side of the subjects to give a "clearer vision" on things. I still appreciate that you took your time to respond
