I joined the server on the 7th September 2020 with only a few ROA’s & LOA’s occasionally.

I use TS3, Discord and browse the forums daily.

State the role of staff on the server:

The role of staff is to build and maintain a good relationship with all players to ensure all OOC rules are followed and everyone is enjoying themselves, this could range from having a sit with someone who has broken rules or taking simple claims that keep the server running smoothly.

I understand, staff is a respectable role and should be treated as such.

 

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

 

1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones:

I would TP to the player and ask if they knew who it was, not dependent on if they know or not I would check logs to ensure if it was a genuine case of (M)RDM, If so I would bring the accused to a sit and warn them accordingly.

 

2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function:

I would TP to the Cadet and ensure them that I will get a CPL+ whether that is through Battalion ordering them or me bringing someone.

 

3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon:

I would leave it alone, everyone makes mistakes but if I get the opportunity I would remind him to be more careful.

 

4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT:

If I were on a clone job I wouldn’t mind but I would kindly remind him to salute to 2nd LT+, If I were SOD I would not mention it.

 

5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitly stated within the server rules:

I would remind them that the server rules may not state that exact motion of FailRP but if I believe it is not believable Clone Wars roleplay that I will have to warn them. As the server rules state “Please also be aware that just because a rule isn't written in this thread but would be considered detrimental to the role play experience of players, doesn't mean you can do it, USE INITIATIVE!”

 

6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing:

I would listen to their argument but stick to my initial decision to give a punishment and remind them they can always make an unwarn/ban request on the forums.

 

Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words):

 

I believe I should get staff as I am a dedicated and active member of this community and I have no intentions to decrease my activity or leave, I wish to help the server and community thrive through any small way I can. During my time I have managed to reach the rank of Vice Commander, this shows I have the level of competency required to deal with members of the regiment and make decisions not based on emotion but through well thought out logic and facts.

 

 I personally believe I am a very patient person and I have the ability to take everyone's opinions and views on board and make decisions that are balanced and fair. All members of the community should have a fair chance to have their voice heard whilst understanding the need to follow the rules whilst doing so for the good of the community. I believe I possess all the necessary values and qualities to be a competent member of the staff team . At the age of 19 I possess a high level of maturity and can be assertive when needed but can also read a situation well and encourage fun at the appropriate time. Through my playtime I have gained a great understanding of the IC and OOC rules and although I have no ULX experience I know the basics, I am wanting to learn more and gain some valuable experience. I wish to bring my life experiences into the server which include; teamwork, responsibility and ability to demonstrate confidence by working independently and efficiently.

I know tyro quite well hes a amazing kind guy with very good activity being on the server a lot, reaching Vice Commander which shows he sticks around, having 0 warns kicks or bans also shows a clean record where he goes by the rules

Whilst this application may be lacking in detail I feel as if you have said what is required and more would be made apparent if people just had a conversation with you. Has stuck with his tasks in times of strife as displayed by his commitment to GC and I think he would be a merit to the staff team.
