I do own one and I primarily speak but when the user cannot understand me, I type.

 

 

 

When did you join the server? Have you taken any breaks since:

I first joined the server around 28th April 2018 and stopped around August 2018 then took a long brake and started playing again around Jan 2019 and then continued to play until I left on 16/08/2020 and then returned on 15/01/21 then took a break and now have returned on the 5/04/21.

The role of staff is to help the player base enjoy the RP to there best of their ability by dealing with OOC situations

yes, I have read them and understand them.

1 ) For how long were you a staff member on SW-RP:

I was staff for 2 weeks.

 

 

 

2 ) What rank did you reach before leaving the staff team:

Moderator.

 

 

 

3 ) Were you demoted or did you resign? Why:

I resigned because of unexpected personal issues that I had to deal with forcing me to unfortunately resign.

 

 

 

4 ) In hindsight, what would you have done differently as a staff member:

Stayed in the staff team for longer as I was thoroughly enjoying it but as I stated before I was forced to resign.

 

 

 

5 ) How have you improved since you left the staff team:

The personal issues have been dealt with hence why I am back on the server. I have also matured even more and have been entrusted with Temp Hierarchy.

 

 

 

 

 

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

 

 

 

1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones:

Firstly, I would check blogs. If a person is indeed killing other clones, I would dish out the appropriate warn/ban. If they killed more than 2 different people, I would ban them for MRDM + 1 day for any additional different clones he killed. If he killed just the one or 2 players, then I would warn them for either RDM or RDM X2. If they still shot the clones but did not kill them I would either warn them for ARDM or AMRDM depending on how many people, the offender killed. If the person who made the claim was false, then I would warn him for lying to staff.

 

 

 

2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function:

I would first tell the cadet to change his name and show him how to do this after he had completed that I would ask in OOC If anyone wanted to train cadets if no one responded I would start to TP NCOs to train the cadet.

 

 

 

3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: I would first check blogs and see whether he shot him only once and then also I would check the action report to see if it is truly an accident. If It is indeed and accident, I would not do anything and leave the CT higher ups to do what they see fit.

 

 

 

4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT:

If I were SOD, I would not do anything as I am an OOC job. But If I were on my IC job, I would remind him to salute 2nd LT +.

 

 

 

5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules:

I would explain the rules to the player and how he must stay in character throughout otherwise it would be considered Fail RP and explain any attempt to loophole the system he would receive a harsher punishment.

 

 

 

6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing:

I would tell the player if they do not agree with the punishment, I gave them they can go on the forums and make and unwarn/unban request.

 

 

 

 

 

Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words):

I believe I would be a good addition to the staff team because of my experience. I have previously been able to reach 501st Commander and moderator on the server. This alone shows dedication and maturity and how I can be dependable. These traits can also be applied to the staff team.

As I have mentioned before I have been on the SWRP staff team. So, I have a really good knowledge of the staff guidelines and the correct punishment that should be given out. I am also more experienced than the other candidates in terms of dealing with staff situations and how to deal with minges and people who break the rules.

I also believe that I maintain and friendly and polite environment with the other members of the community. For example, helping with other regiments and giving advice to others that need it such as helping out when staff isn’t on. Also, I believe I am easy to talk to and happy to help if anyone is in need and give good advice to anyone that would need it and I believe these characteristics would prove to be an excellent staff member.

I also believe I would be a good staff member because I have upheld a lot of responsibility in my previous Commander and moderator role, and I am currently upholding responsibility whilst being temp EXO. I have been given a lot of trust and responsibility on the server and I would like to continue enjoying and striving on the server. Helping in problems and acting as a good role model to the server.

Past experience as a staff member. Is a really high rank (temp exo) plans on staying and was good at being a staff

- Friendly guy and active guy

- High playtime and he has experience even if it was cut short

- The worry about him leaving shouldnt be too much of an issue as he has both shown dedication in 501st but also explained the situation from his side so this should hopefully be avoided this time around.
