Adytum's Gate is a sub-branch of Neo-Sarkicism. Their main goal is to open Adytum's Gate, with sacrifices of Human life. They strive to please Yaldabaoth, the God of Flesh and animalistic instinct, and their founder, Grand Karcist Ion. The organisation itself is around 4000 years old, making it one of the oldest surviving organisations in history.

Sarkites generally experiment with anomalies to enhance themselves. They distort their flesh into something more powerful, which they also do to others. SCP-2191-1 is an example of this, the anomalous creatures have been experimented on by the Ancient Sarkites and turned into something more powerful, but also with the cost of their knowledge. Animalistic instinct is something that must prevail.

Sarkites work towards apotheosis, the belief that a non-deity may ascend to become a deity. They believe their Grand Karcist has achieved this. Most Neo-Sarkites believe that if one can, they have the right to usurp the Grand Karcist if they can. Proto-Sarkites do not share the belief.

Sarkites have always been opposed to the Church of the Broken God. This is because of CoTBG's beliefs of Mekhanite, the God of Knowledge and Technology. Sarkites believe that all life should be based upon instinct and survival, yet CoTBG followers believe it should be built by knowledge and technology. This makes the 2 opposed, and they have been at war for the past 4000 years.

They are secretive, only a select few other GOI knowing of them. Information leaks are dealt with swiftly by the Sarkites, usually through sacrifice to further their expansion of Adytum's Gate, or through conversion to SCP-2191-1.

Many Sarkites are just member of the general public who found out about the Cult, and was inducted by a high-ranking member. Though some are from long bloodlines of Sarkites, than span for hundreds of years.

JOBS, RANKS + LOADOUT

Karcist - The Karcist(s) of Adytum's Gate lead the organisation and all of it's members. The Karcist(s) are the highest ranking people in Adytum's Gate.

Volutaar - Volutaar are those who advise their superior Sarkics. They are respected among their inferiors, and hold a lot more power than the other ranks.

Anotessi - An upper-middle ranking Sarkic who generally holds some power, but still has restrictions.

Zend - The mid-ranking Sarkite, has a degree of power but mostly restrictions.

Orin - The lowest ranking members in Sarkic society. They are followers that have shown some dedication to the cult, yet still hold no power.

Thrall - Those who have heard about the cult and have just joined. They have no power, and must prove themselves to their superiors.

Who is Yaldabaoth?: Yaldabaoth is a low-level elder god in the SCP-Universe. The practioners of Sarkicism believe that he is the principal power in the universe and the incidental creator of all life.

What is a difference between Proto- and Neo- Sarkites?: While Neo-Sarkites and Proto-Sarkites share a common mythology and many of the same practices, it may be best to see them as distinct religions. To Proto-Sarkites, Neo-Sarkites are heretical, if not utterly profane - more an ideology/philosophy that has appropriated elements of the true faith.

1. Don't kidnap. Befriend your target and convert them if you feel they are willing to turn. Dont sacrifice your converts without them wanting it.
2. Don't reveal your identity or abomination form without permission from an Anotessi+
3. SCP-2191-1 are nocturnal. They must also only kill those we are hostile with, or in self defense.
4. Don't live to sacrifice/transform. Try to do some other forms of RP.
5. If you are going to use PAC3, ask a group management member for their permission first. 
6. Use common sense. Breaking any of the server rules or Sarkic rules with result in tiers/demotion.
7. After being 'enslaved' by the Foundation, you will lose your ability to change to your abomination form due to losing belief in the Sarkic cause.
8. Don't cause fights with other GOI because of anomalies. Don't fight over anomalies.
9. Randomly shooting, even if at nothing in particular, is grounds for punishment.
10. Don't randomly gather anomalies. We will get raided.
