Tryout and Secure Comms chat Command

These are 2 pretty small and basic addons which I have made to make life a bit easier on the server and to allow for Tryouts to stand out a lot more for those Clone Troopers hoping to join a regiment. Or save crucial time in an event sending a message to the leading battalion.

 Can be used using 

/sc l !sc

/tryout l !tryout

You would still have to copy and paste the text from the spreadsheet. However saying this has give me future ideas.

Idk why but I have a feeling that the tryout one will be missed even more, but the secure comms one is interesting. In face, if it can be restricted to see for specific ranks that would be cool. Less metagaming HMM

I agree with Pagan to an extent. 

The way NRP has it with multiple radio comms set up so instead of /advert [SC] you can just type in /republic (can be shortened) for a secure comm. Although I think it's better to stick to using team chat by pressing U than adding in /212th etc.

Add [RP] Vommand too yes? Makes me life easy. Its simple code which if you fuck up your brain dead. Easy to use and small in capacity. +1

 

Although why tf did u make an addon for it smh. U dont need addons for commands just the extracted version / code is enough.

Tryout advertisements could happen without clogging up non-CT's chats and less metagaming will occur.

I can only see secure comms being used. However I think group chats should be more like NRP or this system, so for example PKs can communicated independently to CG from Jedi chat, or have a separate chat for CT NCO+ since we don't want retards knowing we're about to arrest them.

I mainly like the secure comms, since it would really help againts metagaming in events. The advertisments comms I am too sure about how those would work out. Never the less a good idea.
