I first played the server on the 16th of July 2020 but I never played it seriously until I joined the Ordnungspolizei around early September 2020 and since then I have taken 1 break in October 2020

The role of staff on a GMOD server is to make sure that the players are all abiding by the rules set in place and to also punish those who do not follow said rules, this is to keep the RP on the server running as expected. Another role of staff is to help newer players, answering any questions they may have about things on the server and the rules of the server.
 
Give some historical context about the time the server is set in (75 words+):
 
The server is set in 1943 Berlin and The Reich was starting to lose the war. Russian Forces had stopped German advancements at the Battle of Kursk and switched from the defensive to the offensive. Germany had also lost their footing within Africa after losing the battle at El Alamein due to the lack of Axis numbers and the Allies having air superiority. In Berlin, the RAF started to do frequent bombing runs meaning a lot of Berlin was in ruins. This also meant that people were losing their homes and some were also losing their jobs due to their workplaces being bombed.

1) You are told by a player in admin chat that another player is randomly killing people:
 
I would teleport to the player that is being reported for RDM and I would see what is going on, Then I would check the logs to see if they could tell me anything useful, If so, I would teleport him to a roof which is out of the way of anyone's RP and either warn or ban him. But if the logs did not show anything of use, I would ask the person that reported the RDM if they had any video evidence, If they did and it showed clear evidence of RDM then I would bring the RDMer to a roof and then I would ban or warn him.
 
2) You are asked by a player about how to become a Third Reich official:
 
I would teleport them to a quiet area like a roof. Then I would explain to them about the 6 main regiments (OrPo, 1.SS, SA, NSDAP, Bruno, Caesar) he can join and a bit about what they do, I would then explain that some of those regiments require them to have Platinum VIP to be a part of. Next, I would tell them about the agencies that you have to be picked for and what they do. Finally, I would ask them what branch they would like to join, tell them the corresponding anwarter command, advertise that they require a trainer for whatever regiment they picked, and then wait for a trainer to come to train him for that regiment.
 
3) You catch somebody not performing RP and that is messing around:
 
If they were new, I would teleport them to a roof and give them the rules to read through alongside a Verbal or Tier 1 warning. Then I would return them and would spectate them to make sure they RPs properly. If they don't, I would bring them back to a roof and explain to them that they will be banned for NITRP Tier 2
 
4) Somebody acquires a rank but is not willing to RP with it properly:
 
This is more of an IC thing but I would give them a verbal warning telling them to stop doing whatever it may be. If it were something more serious, I would inform their regimental COs about their behavior whilst playing their job and ban or warn them if it were that serious.
 
5) A player is prop spamming:
 
I would teleport to him to make sure it was actually prop spam, If it was then I would permaban him straight away and then issue a warning for propspam.

A Tier 1 is a misunderstanding by the player, an unintentional rule break, the player that broke the rule is defined as a "new player" or it was just an accident. Tiers 1 punishments are typically just a verbal warning or a warn but can some times be a ban if the rule that was broken is very serious.
A Tier 2 is an intentional rule break, a constant rule break, the player that broke the rule had already been told about the rules and been told to stop or they have no rule knowledge whatsoever. Tier 2s are always a ban varying in length.
 
2) Explain the difference between IC and OOC. Also define Meta Gaming:
 
IC means "in character" meaning that you are roleplaying as someone in 1943 and that the things you do IC are historically accurate. IC can also mean using the IC radio comms, voice and text chat, /w or /y to communicate with those also in RP.
OOC means "Out of character" meaning you can speak about things out of a 1943 setting. OOC interactions are always in /ooc, /looc or /wlooc 
Metagaming is defined as using OOC information IC, For example, reading someone's name above their head and using it IC without knowing it IC or treating a disguised high ranking member with no respect because they are disguised.
 
3) Explain the difference between Serious RP and Semi-Serious RP:
 
SeriousRP is been very immersed in the character you are playing on the server and that the actions you do are all that would be expected of a person of that time. SeriousRP focuses on the social interactions or PassiveRP you have whilst RPing as your character. 
Semi-SeriousRP is not as strict on staying fully in character and are more often focused on the job and not the actual PassiveRP scenarios.
 
4) Define PassiveRP and explain its role and importance in a serious RP gamemode:
 
PassiveRP is what I would say defines SeriousRP from Semi-SeriousRP. PassiveRP is RP that does not involve Combat, Examples of PassiveRP could be working as a bartender or being a priest in a church. PassiveRP often tends to have /me and /it to further immerse within the RP.
 
5) Define the term of Combat Baiting:
 
Combat baiting is where do something like pull out a weapon in front of the OrPo or act a certain way to get someone to engage in a CombatRP scenario

I believe I should be staff more than other applicants because I consider myself to be very active on the server. Often spending up to 8-9 hours a day RPing and if I am not on the servers I am very active on discord. I am always checking all the WW2 discords just to keep up to date with everything going on on the server. This means if I am ever needed I can be easily contacted by anyone who needs me. Despite my lack of staffing experience, I think that I could be a good staff member because I believe that I am hardworking, fair, and familiar with both the rules on the server and ULX. I originally joined the server on the 16th of July 2020, I was new and didn't know the rules so I got banned and warned a lot because of this. Then in early September 2020, I started to play the server seriously after I grew bored of my roles within the WG SWRP server. I joined the Ordnungspolizei with some of the people from the SWRP Regiment I was in at the time and we all ranked up together. When I started to enjoy being within the Ordnungspolizei, I started to read the rules and become more aware of them as I didn't want to be banned anymore. Since late September I have not been banned from the server. I like to think of myself as being mature for my age, my maturity can be seen in some of my IC achievements like becoming a senior non-commissioned officer within the Berliner Ordnungspolizei and the Panzer-Abteilung “Großdeutschland” Kompanie ‘Caesar’ and also becoming a commissioned officer within the Hauptamt 'Königsplatz’ and in the Logistikstruppe. During IC situations, I often step up and take leadership if I am presented with the opportunity to do so and I believe that I am a good leader and competent because of this.

Tiers 1 punishments are typically just a verbal warning or a warn but can some times be a ban if the rule that was broken is very serious.
A Tier 2 is an intentional rule break, a constant rule break, the player that broke the rule had already been told about the rules and been told to stop or they have no rule knowledge whatsoever. Tier 2s are always a ban varying in length.
 
2) Explain the difference between IC and OOC. Also define Meta Gaming:
 
IC means "in character" meaning that you are roleplaying as someone in 1943 and that the things you do IC are historically accurate. IC can also mean using the IC radio comms, voice and text chat, /w or /y to communicate with those also in RP.
OOC means "Out of character" meaning you can speak about things out of a 1943 setting. OOC interactions are always in /ooc, /looc or /wlooc 
Metagaming is defined as using OOC information IC, For example, reading someone's name above their head and using it IC without knowing it IC or treating a disguised high ranking member with no respect because they are disguised.
 
3) Explain the difference between Serious RP and Semi-Serious RP:
 
SeriousRP is been very immersed in the character you are playing on the server and that the actions you do are all that would be expected of a person of that time. SeriousRP focuses on the social interactions or PassiveRP you have whilst RPing as your character. 
Semi-SeriousRP is not as strict on staying fully in character and are more often focused on the job and not the actual PassiveRP scenarios.
 
4) Define PassiveRP and explain its role and importance in a serious RP gamemode:
 
PassiveRP is what I would say defines SeriousRP from Semi-SeriousRP. PassiveRP is RP that does not involve Combat, Examples of PassiveRP could be working as a bartender or being a priest in a church. PassiveRP often tends to have /me and /it to further immerse within the RP.

Combat baiting is where do something like pull out a weapon in front of the OrPo or act a certain way to get someone to engage in a CombatRP scenario

I believe I should be staff more than other applicants because I consider myself to be very active on the server. Often spending up to 8-9 hours a day RPing and if I am not on the servers I am very active on discord. I am always checking all the WW2 discords just to keep up to date with everything going on on the server. This means if I am ever needed I can be easily contacted by anyone who needs me. Despite my lack of staffing experience, I think that I could be a good staff member because I believe that I am hardworking, fair, and familiar with both the rules on the server and ULX. I originally joined the server on the 16th of July 2020, I was new and didn't know the rules so I got banned and warned a lot because of this. Then in early September 2020, I started to play the server seriously after I grew bored of my roles within the WG SWRP server. I joined the Ordnungspolizei with some of the people from the SWRP Regiment I was in at the time and we all ranked up together. When I started to enjoy being within the Ordnungspolizei, I started to read the rules and become more aware of them as I didn't want to be banned anymore. Since late September I have not been banned from the server. I like to think of myself as being mature for my age, my maturity can be seen in some of my IC achievements like becoming a senior non-commissioned officer within the Berliner Ordnungspolizei and the Panzer-Abteilung “Großdeutschland” Kompanie ‘Caesar’ and also becoming a commissioned officer within the Hauptamt 'Königsplatz’ and in the Logistikstruppe. During IC situations, I often step up and take leadership if I am presented with the opportunity to do so and I believe that I am a good leader and competent because of this.

Why do you deserve to be unbanned?: I have been banned for 2 months and genuinely regret minging on the server as I enjoyed playing it, I used to minge alot but have since taken a few week break from GMOD, Since then I have stop mining on all servers and released that it is a stupid thing to do as I have been banned from servers that are good server, I recently started to play SWRP seriously for the first time, I know what I did was wrong and that is was a stupid move but I would just really like a 2nd chance to play the server seriously and try get into it as I have been trying out new RPs on GMOD.
