  5. Neutral Personally never had an issue with Rez and was a good lad to play with despite what others have said about you being toxic. I do also have to agree that the evidence isn't too great but it is a little bit suspicious. I think if you were to be unbanned, you should still be perma banned from the sim league, if the league happens again, along with this you should be on a one strike system. Edit Changed my horrendous sentence structure.

  7. +1 I have to agree with what jeka said, I never knew Crimson before his first perma ban but when I met him after he was unbanned I never had any issues with him. Really good lad and had a minor slip up. He set a chair on fire and ended up killing someone as a complete accident, although everyone will argue the point that he was on his last warning as Crimson stated himself he was at the point where due to his behavior since his unban he wasnt having to be watched all the time as he proved he can behave. I think that the re-perma ban for something which was an honest mistake is a bit harsh. Hope to see him back on the server and in 21st

Have you taken any breaks since: I joined the server on 13th December 2020. Since joining I have not taken any LOA’s or ROA’s. How often do you use our Teamspeak 3 server, SW-RP Discord and our forums: I am in teamspeak throughout most of the day, when I am online. I use discord but mostly for loggings or talking to people who may be offline or not in teamspeak at the time. State the role of staff on the server: The role of staff varies. Staff members are overall there to moderate the server, make sure that players have a good time and that no one is breaking the rules. Alongside this a staff member is also expected to take claims and sort any issues or problems players may have encountered, this could be from someone RDM’ing to need tools or weapons for a training. Have you read the server rules and are you familiar with them? I have read the rules and familiarised myself with them. (Resigned) [2020] - Tesla Gaming - Owner (Owned my own server which didn’t do too good so I shut it down after a couple of months) Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?: Yes. Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: First I would ask the player if they knew who the player killing clones was, if they did not know then I would use the logs to identify who was killing other clones. Once I have found the person who is RDM’ing I would then teleport to them, depending on how many people are around I would then either take them to the admin box or another location which players cannot, or would be difficult for them to access. Depending on how many people the players had RDM’d would then result in what punishment the player would receive. If it was multiple people the player would be banned as it is Mass RDM, if it were just a single kill it would result in a warn for RDM. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: I would teleport to the player who made the claim and tell them that I will find a trainer for them, first I would refer to the battalion to call for an NCO+ to the cadet area if they are on and if not I would do it myself. If no one is available at all I would then offer to train the cadet myself. 3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: If it is evidently an accident I would not punish them. Instead I would; take them to the side of the debrief, verbally warn them to be more careful then explain to them that in the future they may receive punishments if it happens again. 4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: Saluting 2nd LT+ isn’t really enforced and isn’t particularly a big deal in comparison to something like FailRP, minging and RDM, I would ignore the situation and just carry on with whatever I was doing. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: As someone has committed FailRP they would firstly be warned for it as it is against the server rules whether its directly in the rules or not. Furthering this the bottom of the rules states “Use initiative” therefore if the player had read the rules correctly they should know that with the use of some common sense anything breaking FailRP is punishable. If they continue to argue with the rules I would then refer them to SMT or the forums to make a report against me. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: Once I have given the punishment I would not revoke it as long as it is correct no matter how much they argue. The rules state that staff members must be shown respect in a sit, and if they have been dealt with incorrectly they should speak to hierarchy via teamspeak or make a staff report via the forums, therefore I would inform the player of this and let hierarchy deem if the situation was handled correctly, and if for some reason it was not they could the rectify it.. Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): Previous Experience: I think that I would be a better candidate for staff in comparison to others as I have a lot of experience on a few fairly big servers. This means that I know how ULX/other admin systems work and I would most likely be able to handle a lot of situations that would arise due to experiencing them in the past. Alongside this getting to fairly high ranks in other communities proves that I am not only capable of being staff but I also work hard as a staff member and proved myself in order to earn my promotions within their staff teams. Activity: My activity on the server for the most part is pretty good. I have gained a fair few hours played on the server in the small amount of time I have been within this community. I rarely play other servers and focus most of my time into this community. I am more than open to accept the fact that in comparison to others my activity might not be the best whether this be due to the fact I have not been in the community for a very long time or I just cannot play as much as others due to real life commitments. Although on average I do put in a large chunk of hours each week into the server. Furthering this, although I have recognised a weakness in myself I am able to counter this with a more positive with the fact that; often I will be on in the earlier hours of the morning sometimes until 2-3am if I am able to which is when the server is not moderated as strongly due to people being asleep. Therefore although my activity is not the best due to me not being in the community for an awful long time I still dedicate a large portion of my time to the server which makes me stand out more than other candidates. Overall SWRP Experience: I have been in the GMod SWRP community for a long time. I have been playing since around 2015, and I have videos on my youtube channel to prove. I have played on many servers and experienced many things and I believe that I am able to handle myself both in character and out of character well. I am able to have a joke and be relaxed when necessary but when I am required to be serious and enforce roleplay I am also more than capable to do so. This makes me a more ideal candidate than others; due to as I have stated before I not only have staff experience but RP experience as well and understand how a servers RP should be. Hard Working: I would also like to consider myself as hard working, and I am able to manage my time. Since joining the server I have got double excellent within GM and I have also managed to get ARC, which in itself isn’t an easy task, and something I am fairly proud of. Referring back to my experience in staff as well, I also believe that considering I have reached fairly high ranks on other servers this also proves that I am able to work hard in staff and in the server as a whole. This would make me a better candidate than others and helps me to stand out as I am able to prove that I will work hard if I am accepted for staff. Maturity: I also believe I am mature and I am able to stay composed. This is proved by the fact that I am a university student, and I also work part time as well. Working a part time job and studying law at university have allowed me to become more independent and mature. Although I have stated I can have a joke and I don't want to seem like a guy who plays on the server to ruin other peoples fun. Working and being a university student requires a lot of time, effort and composure which I have gained over the last couple of years and has further helped me mature as a person; this is a further reason as to why I would be a good candidate for staff.
  9. I rarely go EC unless someone offers in game credits for it. Purely due to the fact I know that no matter what I do if I get a bad spawn I will die 20 times in the same spot to snipers/shotguns etc. I hate being an EC to be honest its not really that fun unless you're given op equipment but then clones just complain about it. Feels like a loss loss situation for the EP no matter what they do. Maybe EC's need a buff in HP or have weapons with higher damage to stop spawn killing and being absolutely destroyed by the op equipment alternatively you nerf the clones but again whatever happens I feel like if its not the EP being moaned at for a bad event SMT/Spades will be moaned at for making people too OP or not powerful enough and again were in a loss loss situation. I think there is a good majority of people in the server who would agree that they don't want to/don't enjoy going EC as they know they will just get shit on. I think that the bigger situation from this post is that often/more and more recently events get cancelled due to a lack of EC's whether that be because people generally don't want to go EC or because if they go EC they know they will just get destroyed. Whatever the fix to this is it will have to be thought of carefully as, what I stated above someone will always be at blame if people aren't happy even if they change is for good.
