Why: I resigned from my admin because for personal reasons outside the server. 4 ) In hindsight, what would you have done differently as a staff member: Stayed 5 ) How have you improved since you left the staff team: Been a few years and became more matured over that time. Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones: If they didn't give me the name of the player rdming I'd check the kill logs for recent kills and see if there's anything there that would show someone rdming e.g. a CT #### killing another CT #### ect. 2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function: I'd tp to the cadet and let them know I'd be getting someone to train them soon then I'd them tp to a battalion member and ask them to send a trainer, if there was no battalion on I'd say in the ooc that a cadet needs a trainer. If no on responded and the cadet was still waiting then I'd have to pull a random NCO to see if they can train the cadet or not. 3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon: I would pull them away from the db so CG doesn't snach em and, if the scenario is fact and the CT did accidentally shoot, I'd give them a verbal warning for it and tell them to be more careful next time otherwise it would be a normal warn. However it's not easy to prove their shot was an accident so likely still warn them for ardm. 4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT: I wouldn't mind and it's not a staff issue. 5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules: Loopholes in the rules are still punishable so they would still be punished by me. 6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing: I would advise them not to argue in chat and to bring their complaints to the forums. Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I believe I deserve a position in staff more than the other applicants as I have been many high rank over the years both in character and our of character giving me more experience in how to conduct myself appropriately as a staff member. As stated before I have been Admin on this server, this was during a time where stafff was full and progression was all but halted for the majority so in addition to my staff rank I became an eventplanner and progressed up to Senior eventplanner. This adds another layer of experience as I was both staff & event planner at the same time and had little to no point where I was neglecting my duties in either role. Another reason would be the roles I've attained over the years, I have been high Battalion/Fleet ranks and I have also been one of the highest Jedi ranks aswell. I believe those past in character ranks add to my benefit as it shows I've been able to apply myself to get these ranks and was trusted enough by the leading members of the server at the time to have those ranks. My time in fleet is also of note as in addition to being what is now a Battalion member I was also the SMO (currently HMO on the server) So I have another layer of responsibilities to proceed over that being the regimental medics and all the passive rp that come with. With all this being said in short, I have far more experience that most who may apply with ULX and how a staff member should conduct themselves and have been ranks that prove I can be trusted. Jack.
  2. Perhaps if I said assigned it would make you feel more comfortable although it appears, like you say, that most battalion hate the BSEC so perhaps it would be better having them removed overall.
  3. Indeed it seems like the job lacks any clearly defined rules besides protect the battalion and I see many ABS playing like they are CG maily because they have access to CL3 and also get the elastic restraints for some reason
  4. Becoming battalion is not a difficult thing to do as it just takes time HOB if I wanted in battalion for the 10th time in my career I would be able to get it, yet I still appreciate your input on this suggestion, thank you sir.

What your suggestion is: Remove all battalion security jobs.Scriptfodder/workshop link: N/AAny additional information: The roleplay potential of the job is strictly dependant on the battalion members of the server who, for the majority of the time, dislike the job & it's role and will attempt to avoid or send BSEC troopers away to mess with other battalion members. The jobs loadout is not suited to fulfil their task of protecting the battalion even more so given that all battalion have access to grapple hooks and the movement advantage they give. A few high ranking battalion members have expressed their dislike for the job and acknowledged the jobs meme status and stated that BSEC's role is more to protect battalion during events which is another factor for the removal of BSEC. Battalion members who supervise regiments will usually be rolling with their assigned regiment making BSEC obsolete for the battalions' protection as their supervising regiment would be able to do it far better Overall the battalion security jobs are not liked and not equipped for their role in protecting battalion and I believe the server would not suffer in any major way if the jobs were removed and potentially replaced with something more fun and worth the money players would need to play to have access to.
  7. What your suggestion is: Update the battalion security rules to fit their role as security better. When a Battalion Security trooper attaches themselves to a member of battalion and begins to follow them the trooper should be allowed to break clearance level should the battalion enter a higher clearance level than the BSEC. This would allow the BSEC to protect their chosen battalion without the need to ask for permission to enter an area to continue protecting the battalion.Scriptfodder/workshop link: N/AAny additional information: N/A

Neutral 1st map: Yeah the first map used to be on the server before I dunno why it was removed but I imagine it was because of what shepherd said. 2nd map: I'm also sure this was added and removed not that long ago so there may have been a problem with the map, best for smt to say why. 3rd map: This ship map seems to be more detailed that the others and may be better for players to play but I believe ship base maps aren't being used anymore for the reason that there's nothing to do compared to planet base maps. 4th map: Same this with the 3rd map I haven't downloaded the map to test it's size but if it's a replica of the swtor Harrower then it should be large enough to have everything the server would need but like I said with the 3rd map, ship maps aren't being used. 5th map: Map looks good for clones to fumble about in but the rest of the map seems baron for the other civilian jobs aswell as jedi 6th map: This map looks like the best map in this list, the size and location would make for a not so boring time on it however the only draw back I see is the lack of star wars about it which isn't really a big deal.

Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words): I deserve to be staff more than the other applicants as I've staff many times in the past and so I know how to do it right and not mess up, secondly, the highest rank I got in staff was Admin and I was Senior EP whilst I was staff too where I had to balance both jobs to be efficient which I believe I done well enough doing. Another reason why I should be picked for staff is due to my long playtime on the server, I have been many high ranks in character that required me to be competent and a responsible person. The highest rank I got in game was Battalion LCOL aswell as a close second (since it was from a different time and regiment) was when I was Fleet LT Commander & SMO (basically the HMO when regimental medics were as thing). My time as a Battalion had me supervising DU for pretty much the whole time which I grew fond of and I believe I had a great relationship with pretty much all the members before I left, the same can be said for my time as Fleet SMO since I was the only real person regimental medics could talk to regarding their medical ranks and other related matters. When I eventually left Fleet I mained Jedi for a while and got to Jedi Keeper, which was at the time, the next in line to become High Council. After all this time I am still fully aware of ULX commands and wouldn't much time to learn any new ones.
