  1. Some issues and stuff Some stuff is more known, some stuff is less known. This is more directed to newer people I guess which might struggle to find solutions. Issue#1 Mat_specular 1 This issue has been plaguing server since V2, but thankfully It's fairly easy to fix. This is mostly directed to newer players who might not know how certain stuff works. Basically in short, some maps and models ( including ours ) are usually missing textures that are meant to make shit look "reflective". In our case it can be old E-11 model looking really shiny or current map having weird pink/black squere bullshit on some buildings. To fix this issue, you open the console and type "Mat_specular 0" ( It will freeze your game for a bit if you do it while on server ) Just as a reference: Issue#2: Hard freeze when opening context/spawn menu This one might be useful to know. Generally there is a lot of reasons why you lag, but I'll cover the biggest one ( imo ). Basically leaving PAC settings ( PAC3 included ) in utilities open will most likely cause your game to kneel every time you open context or spawn menu. Solution? Just don't leave them open I guess. Demonstration: Issue#3 For whatever reason sometimes you can't see a model ( usually playermodels ) or entities, such as foundation doors ( doors always look closed even when they get opened and stuff ). This is more known solution. If you let's say see invisible player ( even tho they aren't meant to be ) you can open your console and type "record *name/number*" ( I tend to just do "record 1" ) and then type "stop". This should usually fix minor stuff. ( Note: PAC3s will require to be reapplied and stuff ) Example: HoS was invisible Sound related stuff: You hear map-wide fire. Most likely caused by flamethrower that E-11 has. ( It's fire sound is map-wide for whatever reason ) You hear constant electricity/zapping sound ( rare usually, but was issue before that's why I'm mentioning it ) Tesla tool in Effects section has map-wide sound for whatever reason ( Event staff generally should have "play sound" ticked off when using that tool ) You hear bunch of random loud noises. ( Known, but incase new people and stuff ) Usually it's PAC3 related, someone has applied/reapplied their PAC3 ( which contains sounds ). You stop hearing some sounds ( footsteps etc, can be anything ) A lot of things can cause this, lag is usually one of em. Type "Stopsound" in console ( usually fixes it ) MISC: There are more, but It's late and stuff. I'll edit the page If I think something needs to be added. Feel free to respond to the thread if you know a "feature" ( bug ) and have a fix etc.

Along with Site Advisors and EC evaluate Staff performance ( Nu-7 response means, E-11 containment efficiency etc ). Generally have a saying when it comes to majority of departments ( such as monitoring and giving tasks to researchers. ) What is the O5 Council?: O5 Council usually are highest authority when it comes to Foundations procedures, majority of O5 Council only interacts with important matters, such as GOI/POI incidents. Especially due the whole Vestus-12 deal, you are generally more inclined to find less "messy" solutions to problems. Generally Vestus-12 requires teamwork with other members of foundation in most cases. This time I decided to give Operative Sight "Resource Advisor" background to give that bonus incentive to work with Site Administration more. Gear and stuff would be discussed if I get accepted.   5. Common sense 90% of the time NLR killing happens cause person with NLR can't follow NLR for shit, simple as that. Example: > I'm a sniper > Fight breaks out at armory ( surface ) > I kill enemy > I'M STILL LOOKING FOR TARGETS > NLR guy respawns and runs back to armory > Armory is still fighting area and I snipe NLR guy, thinking he was one of his teammates. Should I be warned for thinking I snipped a fucking enemy, when it was fucking guy who couldn't be arsed to wait couple minutes for fight to be over and then go to fucking armory? Realistically people with NLR shouldn't interfere with shit, if they do and it causes them to get shot/arrested, that's their problem. In the worst case even if you are in spawn and shit happens, just say " Yo I just died so ignore me " and if you get sniped cause fight was happening in your spawn area well sucks, shit happens not like you lost shit. "Can I detain people as police officer in armory for having gun if laws say its illegal blah blah blah" Common sense wise the guy most likely died and him buying guns should be ignored ( server wise it should be ignored as he is just getting his loadout witch is somewhat OOC ( as we have people buying stuff instead of spawning with it cause variety reasons )) Tho if the guy leaves armory and still walks around with his gun out, yeah detain and shit. In short, common sense is good enough, adding rules to this will just make it more confusing and create more problems.
  6. Neutral Depends on currently used PM. We used to have this issue when a lot of jobs had similar models ( GOIs/ FA/ and so on ) Like a lot of jobs used suit models. You would literally have dunno MC&D, HoEA, GOC, sarkics for example in one area all in suits. Sure there is some benefit from that (Acts like some sort of meta-shield ). But It doesn't look pleasing I guess? Not to mention confusing for newer players ( enemy, ally, neutral all looking same is bit something ) Obviously I guess stuff changed on server so you wouldn't have that many suits running around, so maybe? Again depends on PM currently used.
  7. Anyhow jokes aside, AWCY? never worked as full RP group. AWCY? splits like M for M didn't work as well ( some might say otherwise, but my opinion it was horrible and i was in it ). Generally AWCY? just flops on server. It's not even about management or GOIs on servers. Imo AWCY? is too broad to work weirdly enough, hard to explain but generally saying the group doesn't mix well with server. Not judging this stuff from your app or anything, just judging from my experience with AWCY? that we had on server ( every version of it ).

  11. -1 In short: Gonna get abused, giving staff powers to players is shit idea, especially with toxic playerbase. The glorified old playerbase ( the times when people like Bright, Mr X and so on played ) this command existed and that "Godly roleplayer playerbase" abused the fuck outa that /demote command. I mean abused, like literally 9/10 demotes were for garbage reason. So question? If this glorified playerbase abused that command, what stops this toxic playerbase from abusing it? Anyways additional points if you add this: Expect people to act like fucking staff members and start demoting people for breaking rules or some dumb shit. ( Happened before ) Players with this power to be biased and demote people for vague reasons. ( Demoting someone from a role, just so his friend can play the job and then making up some shit reason for demotion, but good enough to get away ) Good luck for staff to figure out after demotion happened. It's easier to figure out if demotion was valid when you are present at the time of demotion, not after. In short 80% of sits regarding this issue will end with staff member saying "Sorry wasn't there and there is no proof, so can't do anything about this situation" New players gonna have shit experience considering their ass could be demoted without explanation, or even if newer player, they might not understand that demotion was invalid thus not call staff member. Some powergaming gamer moves you could do as O5 and get away with it, but will not disclose considering this might get added cause of support. I mean I could go on and on, but no real point, if this isn't enough then nothing will. Generally saying giving staff members power to players is dumb fucking idea, especially with toxic playerbase. And who the fuck says that O5 members wouldn't abuse? What fucking stops them from abusing? You lot act like people with WL jobs never minge or abuse. Additionally I know for fucking fact that some players would demote people without even detaining them or talking to them, I had decent amounts of time where some people would call me to demote "name" cause they didn't come to EZ big room or to their office, they couldn't even be arsed to find the guy. Scenario that will happen: O5:" HoS to my office" *Hos isn't coming to his office* O5: "Ok I'm demoting him" HoS fucking vanishes from CI base after CI kidnapped him, leaving CI without HoS. Staff member in that situation could come and say "You have to get HoS detained and shit before demoting" atleast that.
  12. +1 Have it aswell so if anyone joins any containment related job it instantly contains any escaped SCPs -1 CI inf spawns in -> walks for 1 min -> shoots everyone for vague reasons -> respawns in foundation -> repeat after NLR The only reason why some CI inf avoided doing some brainless moves is the fact that death = back to surface. Literally you are suggesting removing the only thing that keeps CI inf from doing braindead rambo moves. Oh implying not having SMG will prevent some dude from poping Site Director with pistol, just instead taking 0.5 seconds it will take 0.9 seconds to kill. You see you can not say "This suggestion is for improving RP" and then slap a fucking rule that straight up conflicts with RP ( choice related - You see in RP servers and games having ability to choose your action is one of biggest must have ). But whatever this is mostly my opinion, so not really something for people to take account. Now this is fucking biggest bs. Fact is this will not improve rp, it will just make everyone fucking paranoid as fuck and avoid contacts with people cause "They could be CI", which duh kill RP You see it fucking kills RP when Site Director is not letting anyone inside office nor speaks to anyone cause "They could be CI" Basically promotes metagaming and face scanning people just for looking at your direction. TL;DR Removes CI inf death penalty ( which promotes braindead behavior as there is 0 drawbacks for said actions ) Will kill RP inside foundation even more cause people will be atleast 82 times more paranoid ( Remember old times when you didn't need to go trough 4 face scanning A1s just to speak to Site Director? ) and so on blah blah. @HowlingRex HAHA ENJOY EARLY GAME

  15. Yes truly a sign of clear seriousness when it comes to leading a job. Behavior like this is the reason why RP groups quality went fucking down hill, people don't fucking take RP groups seriously at all anymore, this is one of fucking reason why almost every swep that belongs to some RP groups have most deadass restrictions imaginable. Yes cause owning a job previously makes them fit for position. Houston killed Pentagram almost instantly, even couldn't be arsed to hand management to someone else in time when he clearly didn't give a single shit about the job's well being. Slice's shenanigans and complete lack of seriousness when it comes to RP groups is just piling on the issue that noone even tries to roleplay on server. I mean holy shit if it's fine to let members of group you are managing have "bat soup" and whatever shitpost names, while also doing some complete garbage nonsence, then I doubt you lot even have a valid opinion when it comes to RP groups. Players should look up to RP group players and learn from them how to RP and so on, not fucking become braindead minges when interacting with them. Yeah sure Slice and Houston are cool dudes and it's fun to play with them and shit, but just because they are known players and fun to play with, doesn't mean that they are instantly good managers or owners. Now additional stuff regarding RP group itself. How does promoting money printing is a good thing anyways? What instead of people trying to roleplayer or at least interact with people, they will just sit in apartments afk printing? You might aswell scratch those printing players as AFK. Like we remember the time when cars got added, people dropped playing the damn server and ~70% of it just started printing (while other ~30% just raided printing players), server was pretty much dead ( in terms of actually playing as jobs and stuff) for solid 3 days. Obviously this wouldn't be as bad as cars, but I said that as idea of how money printing can kill interaction between players. I feel like money printing is something that should be reduced, not fucking increased. Not to mention fact that printers got nerfed. This is pretty much one of major cons of the job being added, it will just reduce active players from time to time ( no I do not count money printing players as active players, especialy if they do shit like +right in console and so on ). Combine this with The Chicago ?Spirit? that will have stuff to sell as well most likely and boom even more money printing, which means even less active players from time to time.
  16. -1 Shittons of stuff to cover, so probs not gonna go too deep. Let's start with loadouts/products Not gonna go too deep but gonna tackle one of products - Garsha Gauss System. Price I assume will be 1 mil. (Keep this in mind) Dmg I assume will be 200-350 (350 is base on gun) Accuracy I don't have to mention even, we can assume its going to 10/10. I primarily dealt with swep balance ( I wasn't perfect at it, but I had idea how to evaluate sweps ) So here is the chain of problems with these weapons: It's great! But too expensive for one live, people will realize its not exactly worth buying it as price is too high and there are pretty much decent alternatives. Group players will realize that people aren't actually buying it, thus gonna hit this wall of "Noone is buying shit" thus creating this next step Price of weapon will be lowered, to make it more approachable for mid tier players ( those who don't have 200 mil like Fors ) Weapon will be too OP for price, everyone will buy it and people gonna complain on other end of the barrel. Weapon get's nerfed yet price is still similar. People realize that they rather buy L115 cause it pretty much gonna do same job but for cheaper. And it gets to shit. You should get my point, this is similar problem to what AR faces (with their rifles) it's near impossible to properly balance it while keeping it revelant. Cause you have to understand, for that price the rifle needs to surpass L115. Got another note for other product - Gutes Werkzeug, halbe Arbeit-X01. Plain simple, powercreep. Server is suffering from powercreep already ( sadly to admit, it was our fault... we started it with Sarkics abomination swep). You have to understand that we will have COBGT construct with around 1500hp and god knows what Sarkics will have (we can assume they will have something to rival that), thus we can already assume that powercreep is going to be off the roof. Adding a item that will just add to the problem isn't something advisable. Powercreep is something servers should avoid at all costs or in the end there will be less jobs with 100hp than jobs with 500+hp. Jobs - AI I can't even begin to comment on how OP this job will be. Imagine having consturct contracting AI and going to MT and just acting like unkillable door opener for his other 6 members ( this is best case, this is in a case that noone else is teaming with COTBG). Heck not even gonna talk about AI being able to inform how many defenders there are and where they are positioned. Just plain busted job. ( Just imagine CI attacking and admins just using bypasser_swep to open doors for CI, but CI have augments that increase their speed and whatever else + cog buff ) Managment - Nothing personal, you two are cool dudes. Houston, you got good ideas and you know how to propose ideas and stuff, but executions are dogshit. For example Pentagram... you had big ideas for it, but even first day of it went to shit ( like members wanting to just straigh up nuke city (note it does not make sense for pentagram wanting to nuke their own FOB/Country/members)) and honestly you abandoned Pentagram almost instantly, left it to rot. What I'm saying is you leave your jobs almost instantly, and I'm sure that Raptor will suffer same fate. Same behavior in ???, where you couldn't stick to job at all. Basically you will let the job die, you won't manage it. I have same issue as you pretty much, that's why I avoid managing jobs. That's why I gave away ISD managment, cause I know for fact I won't manage it. So judging from your past actions, I can safely assume you have same problem as me, thus job will simply have no managment from your side. Slice - Honestly I thought you left SCP or stopped being attached to the point of managing jobs. I do assume you will play it cause this job could be added. But let's face it, if only reason why you would play SCP is cause of this job, then your management capabilities will collapse as soon as you get tired of the job. And honestly judging from how you managed CI, I'm not really up for trusting this type of job. ( Sure your behavior most likely was caused by other members of CI) and yes I'm on about that CI tryout with IJAMEA crap fiesta. (I don't care about IJAMEA fiesta, but I really think it's not something to be memed in tryouts). If Xunt decides to accept this, then suggestion: 1. Balance the loadouts (I'm giving you 100% that the loadout will cause issues in terms of balance and actually interaction between players, and cause direct requests from group itself which will cause babyraging and so on.) 2. Keep eye on management, we saw Pentagrams death in first 3 days, when Houston almost shown 0 management towards the group. Probs forgot to mention some stuff, but generally job seems messy and has tons of issues (balance/powercreep)

Now to the situation. Yes Fredrick was acting bit yikes, but I personally don't see anything banworthy and here my personal opinion: Fredrick did borderline minge (mostly voice stuff I guess). So max warning. I had experience with B1 and I know how B1 can be provoking. (Calling people retarted, doing laughing emotes, setting increased timers, putting timers even if person proven to have done nothing, stripping weapons/comms when unneeded) Thus honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Fredrick just got tilted by one of those brainless moves that B-1 pulls occasionally. Side stuff: Metagaming, I'm sorry but what is this nitpicking. "He said my name without me showing ID" is probably one of biggest nitpicking rule you can do. Let's be honest everyone does that, purposely or accidentally (not to mention SCP-RP isn't the most serious server). Honestly Ray you do that shit aswell same as everyone, and I'm telling you 100% if one of your friends said "Thorn let's go" without asking ID, you wouldn't even bat an eye on that. Not to mention if you are nitpicking this bad then either you are really targeting him or shit is unclear in this ban request and stuff that hasn't been shown happened between videos. But yeah in short, this is warn worthy at best, even then I'm not 100% sure on warn as I know that there could been alot of shit leading to that video in first place (from both parties).

Then: Make CI unwl (Apart from leader/chief/administrator/warlord/titan/god/queen I guess) Reason: It staple GOI for SCP, easiest to understand and easiest for other GOIs to work around (relations/deals and so on). Thus it being inactive hurts other GOIs. Obviously wasn't in meeting so dunno what Xunt/Fridge/Daddy decided to do with GOIs (from what I've heard something regarding religious groups being planned for return or whatever) so depends also on that.
  19. What stuff they meant to have apart from guns and "infect" swep anyways. If job collapses almost instantly cause it didn't have a swep for time being then yeah have fun with MFM which requires swep that is harder to code and will cause issues (meaning the swep will be revoked from job for time being for fixing etc). Swep literally will consist of client side effects which tend to bug out and only can be fixed after severe testing. (Example that time stop swep we had on ???, even a simple client side blur effect required atleast 4 fixes). These sweps require alot of accounting for. Fact is if one of reasons why Atlast died was "It was broken" then believe me MFM won't even live a week. Cause that swep WILL require time to make and that swep WILL break and WILL require several fixes, especially taking account server's state. So if people in group are so impatient and just abandon jobs instantly then there is really no point making this. And other reason why Atlas died was cause CI and other GOIs were dead... then question is why wouldn't MFM die cause of this reason? And before "MFM will focus on foundation", let's face it... 3 slot job with MP7 stands 0 chances against foundation without other GOIs assistance, nor would their memetic agents help as well (First issue is kidnapping foundation people when they are walking in swarms and other being actually expecting most people to abide by swep (which never happened when first MFM with swep was a thing) nor would they also be helpful against army in foundation) In short MFM basically faces same issues as Atlas, but in terms of "broken load out" that will be way worse for MFM. Not even gonna mention that first MFM flopped badly with members not having clue wth to do nor players knowing how to interact with MFM, and that was run by your "Almighty Illuminati Queen" Ash (Guy who fucking came up with shit MFM) and had all the sweps, such as tasers, memetic swep and even climbing swep, yet it fucking flopped. So why anyone still thinking that MFM is a great idea is beyond me. Like honestly playing MFM was either: Being confused about wth we are meant to do or just straight up say "Let's do this cause it's fun and we have nothing else to do (but in more shitpost way, ya can imagine)" Activating sleeper agent and watching guy not do anything. (Only times sleeper agent did something was if it was one of our MFM people playing other job) Borderline minging. Making up excuses on why we would kill people or kidnap them. Sure I'm not 100% sure it wouldn't succeed now (after all long time passed), but I just have feeling this job is not something that would ever do well on SCP, as it has way too many factors that could cause it to fail, way more than most GOIs.

Edit: My edit didn't save first time cool In short, hard to balance (weak - noone will care; strong - unbalanced/jobs become useless) not to mention takes too long for this kind of thing to be balanced (in short server should improve in easier related shit, cause this would take long as time to balance) Did event with 662 related thing, didn't go well. And based on my experience of event I made I can tell ya that adding this would harm server. blah blah can't be arsed to write more due my edit not actually saving. might edit this latter dunno
