I joined in 2017, and I have taken many breaks. Although there were breaks, now I have been active on the server since march with only 1 month break.

I’m always on Teamspeak when I’m on the server, and I’m always on the Discord to see any news and to chat with others.

I’ve never been banned, and I don’t think I was ever kicked.

State the role of staff on the server:

The role of staff is to always keep the server safe from rule breakers, and to help out people by answering questions or to assist them in doing something like trainings or being stuck. Staff also try to solve problems between players and keep the server safe from toxicity, and also try to find a solution for every conflict.

Yes I did, I am very familiar with the rules and keep up to date with them to see any new updates.

Server Information: Was considered one of the biggest DarkRP servers, that had 6 servers for each region. Had 50-80 average players each server. I was staff on this server 4 times.

Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?:
I do understand.

 

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

 

1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones:

First I would see if the player is still killing other players, if he is then I would freeze him and check logs to see how many he RDMed or ARDM, then ban/warn according to what he did. If he wasn’t killing players while I checked on him then I would check logs first and see if he did, and if he did I would punish him depending on what he did. If he didn’t kill anyone, I would talk to the reporter and try to figure out if he false reported or if it was the wrong guy he reported, if he did false report on purpose, I would warn him if that’s a warn able reason.

2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function:

First I would teleport to the cadet and check if there is anyone there to train him, if not I will ask battalion to order someone to train the cadet. If no one comes then I would bring NCO+ one by one until one agrees.

3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon:

That wouldn’t be a OOC situation where staff will be involved, that would be CG’s job to deal with.
Although if the CT continues to shoot and tries to kill someone, then I would get involved and punish the CT.

4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT:

I wouldn’t do anything, because it’s an IC situation and staff shouldn’t get involved in something so simple.

5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules:

In this situation they would need to use common sense, because not everything is in the rules, and creating loopholes to get out of a situation like this won’t help. I will warn them if I find the FailRP bad enough for a warning.

6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing:

I will make sure they understand why they got punished, and if they still don’t agree and think I’m in the wrong, then I would tell them they could make Staff report on me on the Forums.

Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words):

I have been part of this community for a long time now, and I have always given it my all for this server. I have experienced many things during my time on the server, and reached many ranks that include, ARC VC, WolfPack VC, Temp DU VC, CG EXO, 433rd Intel Specialist, 74th SD, CT Major, 41st Major, Jedi Guardian and my current rank GM ARC Colonel. Since I quit Garry’s mod for 1 year in 2021, I came back a better man that is willing to help people with anything no matter who they are, either a bad or good person. I always will listen to both sides of a story before judging, and I would never disregard someone’s opinion because of who they are.

After coming back on the servers after 2 years, I have enjoyed the game more than I did before, I also  have more time to play the game now than before, since I get to choose what I want to do now as an adult. I play an average of 8 hours every day, because the first event starts at 7pm my time which is the time I get on my PC until midnight.

I think I have shown people that I am dedicated to the game, and would give all I have to keep the server intact. I can also solve situations pretty fast with my quick thinking, and I am able to take control of any situation that is given to me. I am a very social person in real life and in game so I would know how to talk to people and empathize with them. Some people might find me hard to understand, but recently I have improved a lot on that and now most people understand I’m saying.

Having a different time zone will help deal with players in the early hours. If anyone needs staff in the morning where there is only 3 players on, I would be there. Also not having a strict sleep schedule makes me be able to be available even at late hours, although not too late.

I have always loved helping people with anything even if I don’t need to, and always will even without staff. I hope I get the chance to help even more people as staff.

Please keep in mind that I only know abootz from GM so my opinion can be biased.

- His application is really well formated.
- He has been a lot of high ranks before so he can be trusted.
- I have never heard him yell or raise his voice so I am pretty sure he can stay calm.
- The responses to the 6 scenarios are well written and make sense.

This is a huge +1 in my opinion, AbootZ has been a key GM SO for a long time now and achieving ARC within GM too shows his dedication in game. He is also a calm guy and would handle being staff very well and is an overall nice guy and would be a great addition to the Staff team!
