Joined on 2nd of July 2020, Had a large break during 2021, came back in early 2022, other than that I have had only LOA/ROAs.

I use them all daily.

State the role of staff on the server:

The role of staff is to make sure people are following the rules, help out players along with helping fix problems on the server. Staff members should always remain neutral, they should always try to make the server enjoyable for everyone. Staff members also help out by doing claims which can Vary. For example, it could be helping out with a sim or dealing with rulebreakers.

Yes I have

 

List of all previous server staff experience:

Only server staff experience I have is from when I was EP and late night when no staff were online. I have had to do claims for all sorts of things along with having to step in with Sits. Having ULX Perms up to Senior EP shows I am trusted and well versed with commands 

 

Do you understand that you can be demoted at anytime with a sufficient reason by a Hierarchy member?:

Yes

 

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member:

 

1 ) You are told by a Player that somebody is randomly killing other clones:

I would listen to the player that told me and try to find out exactly what is going on. If they didn't give me a name then I would check blogs, I would then punish them accordingly (warn/ban them depending on how severe it was) after tp them into a Sit ,if they give me a name then I would check logs anyways, if they have been committed RDM / MRDM then I would tp them into a sit. I would then explain to them what they did wrong and then their punishment, then Warn/Ban them

 

2 ) You are asked by a Cadet to be trained using the @ function:

I would tp to the cadet first and let them know that a trainer will be on their way shortly, I would then let a battalion member know to send someone to train the cadet, If no battalion is online then I would put in OOC asking if anyone wants to train the cadet, if no reply then I would teleport an NCO at random to train them.

 

3 ) During a debrief, a CT accidently shoots someone, whilst trying to safety their weapon:

I would allow CG to handle the matter as it's an IC situation, so there is not really a reason for me to step in. If the CT continues to shoot then I would grab them with my physgun, take them into a Sit, then punish them accordingly.

 

4 ) A CT #### doesn't salute you, despite you being a rank higher than 2nd LT:

It is an In character situation so as a staff member I would not say anything.

 

5 ) Someone commits FailRP, but claims that the specific instance of FailRP is not explicitally stated within the server rules:

I would warn them for Fail RP as it is still Fail RP, just because it is up to the staff member's judgement as not all Fail RP situations can be listed on the rules. I would then suggest them to make an appeal on the forums. I would talk to higher up staff members about this situation.

6 ) You bring a player into a sit and punish them accordingly, however they do not agree with your punishment and keep on arguing:

I would remind them of the rules that have been broken, then I would tell them that if they are unhappy with the punishment then to make an appeal on the forums.

Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words):

 

I think I deserve staff because I have been part of this community for 2 years and since I have come back I have reached high ranks like 442nd Commander which shows  I am very committed, dedicated to the server, this also shows I am very trusted. Whilst I was 442nd Commander I have had to deal with minges and other people that were just there to mess around so I believe I would be able to remain calm in situations similar whilst in staff. I also think I am seen by others as a very relaxed and friendly member of the community. During the 2 times I have been an event planner I have had to deal with stressful situations, which can be shown by how I managed to get Senior Event Planner, for example I have had to host a main storyline, remove people from my events whilst keeping the event going. Also with me being formerly event planner, I am familiar with commands  and have some sort of staffing experience as of late nights with no staff online.

Despite my young age I believe I am mature enough for the position, I am also very relaxed which can be shown since I have had 0 warnings in my time playing the server, I have remained calm almost all of the time. This is a very important quality to have in staff as there will be times where you have to diffuse situations between people or explain punishments to people that they might not agree with.  I am also very eager to learn and improve as a member of the community .I also have a very good grasp of the rules whilst also knowing when to take a step back if things get out of hand. The reason that my activity was  lower than usual recently was because of exams, which have now been handled so I can spend more time on the server.
