I'm Luke a lot of you may know who I am I was DU EXO and Battalion CPTx2 . I left the server a 1 year ago. Over the year iv been away iv acc done a lot of thing like finishing college and also staring a small arma 3 community. But as what happens to a lot of ppl they miss the feeling of this community and server how fun it can be and also the friends u make. id like to come back and have more fun and make more memories. And some new things for this year is maybe proposing to my long term GF so even thos the last year was acc one of the worse for me with my mom dieing and also the loss of a friend as well the lockdowns i hope this one will be better. but like I said iv been around for while and only ppl who have joined since i left won't know who I am but I feel I'm quite approachable so always feel free to come and ask me anything. so to reiterate a summary of me im dude in Ireland whos been throw shit but still here somehow.

I have been in Battalion 2 times and I was DU EXO and also went back to DU a second time and got to Major. Battalion and DU have been a staple of who I was on the server but this time I did not go to DU I went to 212th. 212th has taught me a lot. Being aprt of a different reg has shown me new perspectives on how other regs preserve each other. This has allowed me to see that while I was in DU many times I was not pushed to behave as much as the others as I was well knew and also this made me a bit cocky. But being in 212th has acc shown and taught me what I forgot the second time I was in Battalion showing me that just because i was good at it in my opinion that my behaver led to my downfall and in saying this I understand and have always excepted my incompetence and by acknowledging this I hope to alow and reassure all the members of Battalion and High command and all the other fellow members of this community that iv changed and that I am no longer the same person I was a year ago and that I have left that part of me at the door. I wanted to address this as it is a big part of me that it can't be ignored if I am to return to battalion. I can only hope that iv shown to my reg and to all of Battalion and all of thows on the server that I have change and well 3rd times the charm to be strait. But ack to y i should be chosen. I fell with both being DU EXO and Batt x2 and now 212th Major under my belt I am more then capable but I would not blame you if u thought otherwise as I have been away for some time but I would hope at the time of this app I would of shown what I can do. Now I always thought I was a good leader in battalion leading all the regiments in their proper roles and as EXO leading my men as well in 212th. I have more then enough confidence in my ability to lead. so to the community and to all battalion, i hope for this chance to full fill this dream to make a difference on this server for all the new and old players so we can all have fun and enjoy our selves. And I can never be more thankful to all the past and current members who have stuck with me for thers years and have had faith in me and tho who taught me i will always be thankful for this.

 

 

Describe the roles and responsibilities of Battalion: (100 Words - Minimum)

Battalions jobs depends on the situations with similatrys crosing betwen both (During Defcon 5) and (During Combat)

(During Defcon 5) battalion r ther to Grante/Deny clone reqests if there rank permits it . Also a battalion is there to keep order and to make sure the bace is runing as suposed to and is to oversee that everyone is doing training

(In Combat) battalion is to sut up and take charge of the battelefeald and order troops where to go for strutegic evantive . I must use my nolge and exsprense understand what is the ryt move like chess to win the battele . I also mut beabel to make quick desishions and have confidens in the troops i command . Dering events i will relay information with the leading offoser/higer up on at that time and use each regiment to its fullist capibilitry.

Of course, I understand and have learned that I will be punched for my incompetence and that no matter what I need to take responsibility. I felt this first hand and what comes with not behaving in the correct way and I do not wish to make the same mistake again.

What do Battalion do during Combat, when they are not leading? (IN DETAIL)

In combat a battalion should not run hed first into battel thay should stay with the main fose and try to hepl in anywau thay can (eg if a clone asks for evice are help u give your imput and help in anyway ) . you can evise in anyway if needed . at the begining of an event the battalion will deside who is to lead druing the event and if he will have help most the time there is one battalion leading and one helping seid leader . But a battalion is not to rush and be killed thay putsh with the other clons and help where needed .

 

What are the 3 duties a Battalion Officer Cadet has to complete before getting promoted as part of his mentoring session?

1. Complete a mandatory training that includes faces, formations and questions.

2. Successfully lead an event.

3.Call and successfully do a debrief.

 

What is the job of the Co-Leader during events?

Co-Leaders is to help the leading Battalion in taking the best possible decision and to also grant or deny requests.

To be honest, I never really talked to you, I have only seen you a couple of times, and my first time was when you where 212th CPL, but every time I encountered you, you seemed like a nice and reliable person . Your history is quite impressive, 2x Battalion Captain, DU EXO and so on. You are very active and you have a good playtime. You would be a very good fit.

i would like to clarify i was not demoted in batt cos "battalion before for being toxic or something along the lines. Used to abuse his power as battalion not gonna lie " that is wrong. No1 as i seid in my batt app i was demoted from my own incomipenc witch has been sorted this was over a yaer ago and if i was as bad a rex clames i would of been blacklisted. No2 in my opion rex is being satly. No3 i would like for ppl to juge me on the person i am now not the person i was over a yaer ago. i left the server thought i would not come back but here i am alot has happened to us all over the year and ppl change

Never spoken to you but I have heard not so great things not only from rex.

Cannot really understand what you are saying in your application and there are quite a lot of spelling errors and  gramatical issues although i dont know if english is your first language.

Even though he has been demoted and made mistakes in the past, he has shown in his application that he understands the reasoning behind every action. Unlike most people that complain or say that they were demoted for no reason, Luke has expressed the fact that he was willing to change his behaviour and be a better person.

 

Furthermore, people saying how he is toxic would be incorrect. Being in the same regiment as Luke and knowing him from before hand in Battalion, I can say that yes he has his moments of joking around like most people but being toxic and joking around are two completely different behaviours.

 

Luke should be given a 2nd chance for his behaviour towards people, and even if he doesn’t get accepted into Battalion people should still show some kindness with getting to know him now then thinking about his past and how he was. If he does get accepted then a congratulation should be in order and a bit of respect for him also.

You even refused to listen to common sense and Legitlund had to save me out of that situation

First off Luke is a great guy have done some fuck ups but we are human and bound to make mistakes if you say someone is perfect fit your lieing i can say that was sertionty that you don't have eyes

As someone who knew luke as battalion and now as 212th, i can say that he changed 360°. He's very positive, very devoted to whatever he wants to do and anything he wants to do WILL happen, and he will make sure of that. Honestly a serious and great dude. And for the comments saying about the grammar, if zeref was battalion he can be too.
