"We're not going to bring back a feature which was mainly used for metagame." as much as this feature would be useful this statement is right. 90 percent of its use was for metagame and communicating OOC info IC. Not sure how you would enable and disable it too. Perhaps suggest a TeamSpeak channel for try-outs and people involved in an event, such as those needing to be TP'd and prepared.
