State the role of staff on the server:
 The Staff team on a server has the purpose to, ensure that the rules are not broken by any player, as well as to help new people on the server and deal with any staff sits if they appear.

Give some context about setting of C24 within the Half Life universe (150 words+):
 The City 24 is on the planet Earth ruled and controlled by the Combine, it was reformed after the six-hour-war where the Human military got crushed by the Combine invading force. The city has many different areas like the Nexus where the civil protection headquarters are located as well as the prison. On the other side is the theatre and the slums, an area that is inhabited by citizens with minor or no loyalty to the union regime and should not be approached by loyal citizens. East of the Nexus the bridge is located and in the west there is the park. City 24 also has a large sewer system. There is lots of flags,posters and other propaganda tools for the city 24 to ensure the loyalty of the citizens and workers of the civil workers union. The range between rich and poor is big, either you are loyal to the combine and get every privilege of that or your life is made a living hell, like lesser rations and you have to leave in crude and with lesser standards provided.

 I read the discord rules but the server rules are not published yet.

No as the server is not out yet but I will read them and the server rules when they get published.

Explain how you would handle these scenarios as a staff member: 

1 ) You are told by a player in admin chat that another player is randomly killing people:
 I would tp to him and ask him what happened, if the person explained his point of view I would bring the accused person and ask him if he has any evidence of the actions. If yes and the person did not know the rule I would give him a Tier I warning, if it was on purpose I would give him a 1 day ban. If he has no evidence I would check the logs. If the person was killing people randomly I would proceed as explained. If there is no evidence and the in the logs is nothing written about this occasion, I would return both players to their former position.

2 ) You are asked by a player about how to join a faction:
As the server is not out yet Im not 100% sure but if it would be out I would just explain him how to join a faction

3 ) You catch somebody not performing RP and messing around:
I would bring him to me and freeze him to not run away or mess around more, as it's not further explained what is meant with messing around I would give him a warning for failRP

4 ) Somebody acquires a rank but is not willing to RP with it properly:
As this is an incharacter situation I would just report it to his higher ups 

5 ) A player is prop spamming:
I would bring him in a sit and freeze him to not spawn any more props, than I would ask him why he is prop spamming and ask him to remove them. After that I would warn him. If he keeps on prop spamming I would ban him according to the NRP punishment list

6 ) Somebody does not agree with the outcome of an RP situation therefore he decides to break RP and act OOC:
I would tell the person that sometimes he cant get what he wants and explain to him to deal with it inc. If he still continues to act OOC I would give him a warning for failRP 

7 ) You bring a player into a sit and punnish him however he does not agree with your decision and keeps arguing:
I would explain to him the reason and the resolve of his actions and tell him if he still disagrees to go on the forums. I would give him the link to the forums as well and than I would warn him for the rule he broke  

8 ) Someone commits FailRP but claims the specific instance of FailRP you warned him for is not explained in detail within the rules: 
I would tell him that sometimes not everything is 100% specific written but that he can use his logic to see if it is allowed or not. Also I would tell to ask staff next time if he is unsure if its allowed or not

9 ) A player evidently breaks a rule however he makes a good point in his defence by abusing loopholes within the rules:
I would continue to warn him for the rule he had broken and tell the Staff team about those loopholes so no more of those situations accure


Answer the following questions in detail:
1 ) Explain the difference between Tier I rule-breaking and punishments and Tier II rule-breaking and punishments:
 Tier I is when it was an accident or when the person did not know of the rule, Tier II is when it was intentional and when the person did this constant over and over again. Also when he already has been warned for this 

2 ) Explain the difference between IC and OOC. Also define Meta Gaming in relation with the two:
IC : It means incharacter are the  actions or decisions that has an effect on your in game character and are in RP situations, breaking them will result in an in game punishment probably by your higerups.
OOC : out of character are actions or decisions that dont have an effect on your in game character. To show that you are meaning sth out of character you can write in the OOC chat by putting // in front of your message or you use the local OOC chat if you type in /LOOC in front of your message
Metagaming : Metagaming is if you use OOC knowledge for an incharacter thing for your own benefit. Like knowing when someone uses a fake ID or knowing the name of the person without checking their ID 

3 ) Explain the difference between Serious RP and Semi-Serious RP:
Serious RP is when you have to stay IC for the time you are in your character. It is a bit more stricter than the Semi - serious RP where you can talk OOC without getting an IC punishment. It's a bit more calmly 

4 ) Explain the difference between PassiveRP and CombatRP, explain your view on their importance in our gamemode:
Passive RP is when you are doing like /me.. or in general when you are in a non combat situation and you have to RP. It's more about the daily things like a citizen, where no faces and formations are used. It's very important because only when the passive RP is correctly done, than you have a good RP experience
 
5 ) Define the term of Combat Baiting:
 If you are doing an forbidden action like having a gun out in front of CP for example and forcing them to enter a combat situation

6 ) Define Power Gaming / Power RP:
Power Gaming is If you are doing like /me punches him in the face and he can't get up. When you are in an RP situation and leaving someone no chance to react or forcing them to comply and assuming that it will have success

7 ) Define the term FailRP:
If a person reacts to sth or acts in a non RP or lore-friendly way and is not clarified as an OOC message, for example if someone drives a pink car on the NRP server

8 ) Define the term FearRP: 
If someone puts you on gunpoint with a weapon than you have to follow the instruction except for ERP because you are afraid of getting killed so you want to do everything to prevent that


Explain in length and detail as to why you deserve staff more than other applicants. Explain what you will bring to the staff team and your strongest assets as a person/potential staff member (250+ words):
 I don't think I deserve to be a Staff member more than other since applicants since  there are many good people out there with the correct skills to be up for the task. But I think I will be a good staff member because I want to make the server as best as possible for the players, also I want to help people especially to newer people who might get confused by the options the server can offer. I am a mature and reliable person who can be approached in every situations. When it comes to explaining or teaching how to do something I am very patient in the results. I am a person who works hard to achieve a certain goal and won't rest until I achieved it. That shows that I have the endurance to deal even with people that agrees to disagrees in some situations. Also in my time on the server I was in so many situations that acquired a staff member, because many people break the rule daily so I want to help ensuring that everyone stick to the rules. Tue my experience as the Leutnant of Orpo I know some small commands for example how to whitelist someone or how to bring someone. Also as I applied for the CP and for staff, that shows my dedication to this server as I am really looking forward on its release I can say from myself that I am a person that wants to improve the server and the role play experience for its player. That are the reasons why I will be a good staff member and I will do my best to achieve the goal to make the server more serious if you let me into your team

- You must have at least four (4) days of play time. The server is not out yet
- You must have 10 or fewer warns.
- You must not be banned when you apply.
- You must not advertise your application in any way  
- You must not copy anything from other applications.
- You may not edit your application without permission from a Hierarchy member.
- You may not copy-paste parts from a previous application that you have filed.
- Only reply to your application if you need to specify something. Unnecessarily spamming/bumping your application will get it denied. Do not engage in grovelling under your application (posting thank you for reading my application every time someone posts etc.)

But when it comes to RDM, really it shouldn't be a ban, only a warn. Also a staff member should be a role model, in RP situations if you are not fully 100% of what to do. Also not alot of detail when it comes to offenses e.g FailRP and Combat baiting. Having your weapon out isnt the only way to combat bait, yes its probably most common, but even insulting a CP then running away from then is combat baiting

The staff application looks very good, you only answered a few things in an wrong way.
E.g the question with the RDMer, you don´t check the logs when the guy who made the sit doesn´t has any evidence, you always have to check the logs in these kind of situation.
One thing that I also noticed is that you said thatyou would only give the prop spammer a warning, but you need to know that if you see someone spaming props in any way, you have to give him most likely a permanent ban, depending on the situation.

Anyways, I think you would be a good member in the staff team,
