Description: SCP-895 is an ornate oak coffin recovered from the █████ █████ Mortuary by SCP personnel on ██/█/██, following reports of unusual footage captured by surveillance equipment installed at that location. When questioned, mortuary staff were unable to determine the source of SCP-895 and how it was transported to the location. 

SCP-895 causes disruptions in video and photographic surveillance equipment within 50 meters similar to vivid, disturbing hallucinations with variable duration and regularity corresponding to the camera's proximity to SCP-895. Within a range of 5 meters from SCP-895, footage captured can cause severe psychological trauma and hysteria in most subjects. These disruptions do not extend to observers physically present within the area.

 

Why We Need SCP-895?: This SCP is a nostalgic/old relic of the SCP Foundation during the early times of its containment. SCP-895 and its Containment structure can be replaced from SCP-087's closet area under the basement located across SCP-682 Containment Chamber, and the connected hallway to SCP-049's Containment Chamber & SCP-939's CC. Testing SCP-895 can give the opportunity to the Scientific Department by using Photography or Video Surveillance technologies for D-Class to study on the coffin to understand its nature.

 

During Breaches and Pre-Breach: All Monitor and video surveillance appliances are connected to the facility's structure. SCP-895's control room has a monitor switch that has control of the "Red-Zone" radius footage, persons can switch On-Off from the control room. During a breach, if all SCPs were loose or a catastrophic power failure has occurred the footage of SCP-895 can be broadcasted to all monitor and surveillance video appliances. Containing this SCP will have to disable the broadcast control from SCP-895's control room and when the power is online all monitors will return back to normal functionality.

if only we had a mapper, we could do stuff like this and possibly add more SCPs in their own chambers rather than sticking them in the same chamber

but sadly we don't so we can't have shit like this or solve other issues with the map
