There is a wonderful saying that one follows throughout life, and that is "It's nothing personal, it's just good business", and those words etch a smug, satisfying ear to ear grin on my face everytime a poor soul is charged an extortionate amount of money for nothing but snake oil. No more do I wish to sell china made products for AR, no longer do I want to be a small time peddler whom serves the lowerclasses their electric toothbrushes! Now that I have reached an extravagant quantity of wealth, I only seek more! I live to see those numbers in my off shore, tax free bank account grow and grow until I earn a monthly interest rate that could buyout Germany and fund a civil war in some 3rd world country no one will care about. Being employed by M, C and Dark will be a mutually beneficial employment, with well met quotas and an increase in sales...we can all prosper through exploiting the higher classes with products they are too pompus to understand. What do you know about MC&D?(50 words minimum): In short, MC&D are the global superpower of wealth, they own both the entire monopoly board and play the banker. MC&D is a series of 'clubs' that specialise in the retrieval, and then the auctioning of anomalous products or experiences to those wealthy enough to afford such luxury. As well as outright sales of such anomolies, they will also rent out the products, or even sell 'experience' events for those both rich and daring enough to partake. One record of this would be SCP 1660, where it is speculated that MC&D would host hunting parties in this alternative world...although it may have been crashed by the foundation. MC&D are one of (If not the largest) the biggest organisations in this world, and are arguably more powerful in terms of influence and wealth than the SCP foundation itself. This point is only further confirmed when you take into account that MC&D dont need to spend resources in the securing and containing of said anomalies, as most are in constant circulation with buyers, or being stored in exhibits for the wealthy eye to gaze upon. And of course MC&D arent ones to take risks that would poke a hole in the purse, and are smart enough to know when something is too dangerous and may perhaps in the future may harm their wealth. An example of this would be SCP 2501, where after renting it out to several wealthy customers, they decided to ship the SCP to the foundation for safe keeping. Sales are rather easy for the company due to their links for every GOI, with their main customer being the Chaos Insurgency. The company, or atleast Mr Dark has ecords dating back to the 3rd century, selling fine anomolies even to a Roman Emperor! Even with all this power. Why is MC&D different to any other GOI?: They are perhaps the most passive GOI out of the others. Whilst you have the SCP Foundation very actively seeking and claiming SCP's for experimentation and storage/elimination, or the Chaos Insurgency who actively fight against everything the foundation stands for and wish to use the SCP's for their own selfish needs. The Global acult coalition who share similar thoughts as the foundation, and then the church of the broken god, who are fanatical religious nutters. MC&D, only seek these SCP's and anomolies for profit, and only profit. Someone has revealed that you are MC&D, what do you do and why?: Firstly, damage control, deny all knowlege if questioned and stick with my alibi. Once the heat has calmed down, and If the individual was an outsourced, 3rd party individual who has betrayed our trust by revealing our identity, by accident or not, they may be executed if need be. If the individual was an employed member of MC&D, again once the heat has calmed down they shall be demoted, and be given strong amnestics, or executed depending on the severity. Have you read the job rules (In the Rules thread) and the Code of Conduct/Permissions in this thread?(One word is not a valid answer): Yes! For instance I understand the importance of working as a team, the company cannot operate properly if one of the chains holding it together is broken, this also applies for communication, especially when handling anomolies. A second example would be keeping the honour of MC&D in tact, this can be done by remaining professional at all times and by following the chain of command! If you don't know, he basically sits at GG/GA/MT with a desk and a sign that says "Anderson Robotics" and tries to sell shit to foundation. Well AR is an open book, less regulations and as far as the selling in foundation is concerned...I have made mass amounts of profit selling to foundation individuals, especially when I got into D block. I of course would follow the rules and expectations of MC&D, but i do get where your doubt comes from and i dont blame you for it! Especially as you gave an actual point rather than being a smeg calling someone braindead! Link to comment
